A little from column A, a little from column B. Gnome is damned powerful. Notice how her Magic stat is higher than yours? You're only maintaining her because you have more power than usual plus the PoP. That, and it's inefficient to maintain her via the PoP with astral power.

Not yet, as the PoP was maintaining her at a slightly higher level than otherwise. I believe I stated earlier that she wouldn't just vanish if you lost the PoP, but instead weaken and you're almost at that point.

Yes. Once she's level 3 she'll instead drop 2 levels without the PoP.

Assuming that no further infighting took place since you heard about the council halving in size, the council went from 12 to 6 with 1 ruling daywalker (rather than a triumvirate which Mercenie said they had earlier).
