  1. Welcome to Sex Positive Gaming. I'm Annie, and today we're going to talk about Paradise Lost. This deserted island dating sim adventure is available for PC, Mac, SteamOS, and Linux on Steam, as well as for Android on itch.io and their Patreon. So the game starts with you alone and stranded on what appears to be a deserted island. As you explore, you will find more and more of your missing crew, your employer, a prototypical worthless billionaire, and his beauty pageant guests. It is up to you to help save everyone and I guess that part of saving everyone seems to include pursuing a romantic relationship with every woman on the island. Yeah, I know that sounds ridiculous, but this is a comedic combination of Gilligan's Island with The Mystery of Lost, so there is going to be a lot of suspension of disbelief required in this game. I mean, seriously, if I learned anything from the massacres on Easter Island, Haiti, and Pit Grun's Island, then it's that a billionaire would survive about, mmm, five minutes in a place like this before someone kills them with a machete. Seriously, I was ready to turn this guy into compost after like three sentences. Sadly, this is not that type of power fantasy. Fortunately, the fantastic characters and engaging mini games help to distract me from my murderous impulses. Graphically, this game is great. The outfits, characters, backgrounds, and animations are vibrant and awesome. The music fits fantastically with the island theme, and there are ambient sounds throughout the game as well as in the sexual interactions. Flavor-wise, this is a mostly male heterosexual dating sim. There's also lesbian, group, outfits, femdom, power exchange, and a harem theme. I imagine we'll see additional flavors as the game progresses, but there doesn't currently seem to be any options to choose from. You basically need to play through all of the scenes to progress the story. Sadly, the lizard romance is a chaste affair. The story is kinda hit or miss. You are a jack-of-all-trades who is working for your brother, the captain on his yacht, as a bartender before the shipwreck. This somehow makes you supremely competent to solve almost any problem faced by you and your fellow survivors. Not that this really seems like the kind of game where anyone actually dies. At least, not yet. All of this works to make a pretty compelling narrative. So what's the problem? The same thing that seems to impact most harem games. Urgent tasks seem to be put aside in order to accomplish goals that further romantic interactions. We can delay finding my lost brother who may be injured and alone in the jungle so I can spend a week helping a beautiful woman sweep cabanas. Or maybe I'll film a nature documentary with a spoiled princess instead. Wait, I know, let's chop down a whole forest of bamboo to build a bar. I don't know, I guess you're still infinitely more useful than the fucking billionaire. I really enjoyed this game. The Steam release was in April of 2021 and we've already seen a solid amount of new content since then. I'm really excited to see the story continue in 2022. If you're looking for an engaging harem adventure and you want more interactivity than just another visual novel, then you're going to love Paradise Lust. adventure, and you want more interactivity than just another visual novel, then you're going to love Paradise Lust. Let me know what you think, but please don't post any actual threats about real life billionaires. That would be very, very bad. Anyways, let me know how you like the game, and if you know where I can find that dinosaur costume. Until next time, no shaming, just gaming. Thanks to all this month's supporters on Patreon. I wouldn't have been able to do this without you. you
