“I think I’m starting to understand now.” Pyrrha said “You want me to take over for this woman, to be this Fall Maiden? But keeping her alive like this is still wrong.”

“There’s a device Atlas had been working on that can capture and transfer the Aura of one person into another.” Glynda explained.

Pyrrha cringed at bit at that, she knew Atlas was likely planning something worse than just saving Maiden powers with that, but she didn’t think it was her place to speak up about it here.

“We can use that to transfer the power to you, but the side effects it could have are unknown.” Ozpin explained “Why don’t you take the rest of the festival to think about this and when the closing ceremony is complete we’ll make final arragments as needed.”

“That seems fair.” The Amazon nodded.

“Oh and Miss Nikos.” Glynda stopped the girl before she fully left “I trust you understand the nature of this, please don’t go repeating anything you’ve seen or heard today.”

“Of course.” The redhead nodded “Now excuse me I need to go prepare for my next battle round.”

It was time for the final bracket of the Vytal Festival, there were eight remaining competitors with names such as Yang Xiao Long, Pyrrha Nikos, Sun Wukong, Penny Polendina, Mercury and three unimportant males.

The first fight was between Yang and Mercury. The two got into position on the battlefield and got ready to start.

“I’m gonna wipe the floor with you princess.” Yang smirked a bit cracking her knuckles.

“Fists vs feet.” Mercury stretched her legs “Let’s see who comes out on top.”

“BEGIN!”

The two women clashed briefly in the center ring as they tried to get a grip on each other in a soft grappling manner.

“HMPH!” Yang managed to wrap her arms around Mercury’s waist and lift her up, slamming her down with a suplex.

“Heh, that all you got.” Yang kissed her neck “GAH!”

Mercury spun a bit and kicked Yang off her, she then aimed her leg and kicked sending out a scatter blast that punctured Yang’s jacket.

“Dammit.” The blonde threw her jacket off and stood there in a tight tank top, her bust bulging against the fabric “I liked that jacket you know.”

Mercury just shrugged smugly and blew a kiss as a taunt. Yang caught the bait and charged in only to get kicked square in the stomach. She landed on her back and Mercury took that chance to flip over and press her foot against Yang’s crotch.
