  219. Tweaks we dont need now: Lynx, Misaki, Velvet2
  220. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;Installed Utils:
  221. #Macports BSD Subsystem - Just refer to the Long List.. but also look for -dev...
  222. ;;;;;;;;;;;;Setting Up THEOS:
  223. 1.Disable Private-IP in Wifi Settings... if you want also Disable Auto-Join like i do..
  224. 2. Disable Limit IP-Address Tracking...
  225. noW: we have IP/DNS Fields: your router is specific....
  226. 192.168.0.228 - assume the routers counting backwards so i want to reserve something like
  227. 192.168.0.114
  228. the subnet stays the same 255.255.255.0
  229. and the routing address is literally your router/gateways address is the HUB/Hardware peice....
  230. is 192.168.0.1 in this case.. and what that means 255.255.255.0 is always going to be 192.168.0's.x's thing...
  231. our DNS is probably our Router IP in which it can stay the same since were USING the router, else
  232. if your using the INTERNET its probably safe to set it to like 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8
  233. and a search-domain this is your computers domain or your phones domain name IF it was the DNS Provider
  234. but its not so its your routers IP or your service providers hsd1.fl.comcast.net for example...
  235. ok and our light comes back on and its indicated we've connected or -moved- across the network...
  236. now on the telnet end...
  237. just open up a terminal or use connectbot/putty
  238. and telnet 192.168.0.112:23
  239. ok well in this case
  240. ok so in NewTerm 2 , enter the command passwd for mobile
  241. and when using sudo su to access root run the command passwd as well i set
  242. my passwords to alpine which is the default for iPhoneOS.....
  243. We take Note of our Key:
  244. ED25519 key fingerprint is
  245. ED25519 key fingerprint is SHA256:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
  246. we can ssh [email protected]
  247. or we can ssh [email protected]
  248. in this case we will be running as Mobile....
  249. all we have to do is what it tells us:
  250. bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/.../bin/install-theos)"
  251. Theos has been successfully installed! Restart your shell and then run $THEOS/bin/nic.pl to get started.
  252. .........Updating Root Password for SU:
  253. set it to alpine initially...
  254. after running passwd as root with sudo:
  255. security set-keychain-password
