Shit needs to be worked on over time. BHG, Dregs, Black sun all need shit happening. Inquisiton and Jedi too. E.g why does Black sun still not have a leader publicly announced. Listen, Eva, I've been putting work into the sim. Have for a long time. I took the Jedi from the ashes and did the best I could within the parameters I have, and NOW with what I know know about the future, I've been getting back into things. It was a slow start, and yeah I was RPing in Lynnea, because I needed some RP (without disturbances) to get me back on track. I get why its happening and thats whatever, I just thought I had the time you gave me. I feel lied to. I feel back stabbed for all the work I have put in, and its mostly backround shit. I GM, I take care of problems that occur, I'll give people tags, I've been getting a council ready. But none of that matters, all that matters is the numbers that you got to see on a screen, not what you've actually seen me do. I don't tend to fly everything I do high, but I've been doing THINGS THAT NEED DONE as of late, because I was ready to return like I said.

There are holes all over the place to the point it's being considered to go on hiatus to figure it out, but several negatives to doing that as well.  I have tried very hard to be patient but it's hard for me personally to stay motivated when I feel like those around me do not care.   I couldn't get much help for the Expo, couldn't get much help to run events, can't even get much help to try to keep things stable on the weekends when I work more than during the week.   Making plans is good, but if people don't see you on the ground there is a disconnect that makes leading a group pretty hard to do.   Like how people will put a lot of work into the system and that's good, if there's no attention to the story the rp things go belly up.  If there's an alternative way to get focus and dedicated, I am all ears on it.  and yeah like i said that i could cope with, it's that you barely been back a minute and spending most of your time elsewhere, you explained your reasons but like I don't see that as a necessity when you've put the group on the back burner so long

The way we treat players is less of a community and of care and more a focus on numbers and what that means for the bottom line. Unfortunately, theres too much of one side, and we've gone and fucked it all up. We're bleeding people because we can't kick the people that make people sick and we chase people off that want to do work. We banned Atreyu because he was picking his shit up, IT WAS HIS SHIT. IT WAS HIS FUCKING RIGHT FRANKLY. And thats why he was banned. But it took kenny, sam, and brian 500 counts of bullshit and trolling to ban. Marron? We let run rampant till today, and its a 24 hour. He'll get off tomorrow. And his bs he pulled after the ban? Not even considered. Our focus has been compromised for a long time and its not me thats started all this. This has been a fundamental problem. I'm not mad. I'm disappointed, because frankly, I know where our problems are and I've BEEN working. If it SEEMS like I'm not invested, yeah sure for a bit I wasn't, I was making sure my girlfriend was fucking okay because I actually give 100x more of a shit about her than this place, and we all know RL comes first, and when I did get back I wanted to RP a bit. Lynnea was a place I could go and not be bothered by my GM duties. I was burned. Out. WE'VE ALL BEEN THERE, but I get a deadline, and I was sticking to it, getting things moving, so I am disappointed, frankly, I was lied to, and stabbed in the god damn back. Okay first up, people are allowed to spend their time elsewhere. Its normal. If people are spending their time off sim questions need to be asked. Why are they doing this? What is causing them to spend time off sim? How can we improve or fix the issues that drive them away? The two things that never work are Aggression and Inaction. Burning bridges is never the way. But neither is ignoring them.

 Every action needs to be vetted, no autonomy. Literally you could have a list of things that need to be done and ask who wants to do what. Who wants to set up black sun and assign a leader? Who wants to fix X issue. We need this done by X date. How is Y progressing?


I'll just repeat it one last time for the class.
There is too much toxicity and inaction towards it.
There is too much harassment towards both players AND STAFF.
There is too much bureaucracy stopping progress.
Try asking people why they are off sim and figure out ways on how to bring back their involvement or their patronage. Without solid information its grasping at straws.

Also it doesn't fall outside of the category of outside of a sims role if it is happening on sim and repeatedly the same people come up. As far as to why few get full autonomy is a need to stay informed because you've learned that people cannot be depended on so you need to be ready to grab some glue and put back together whatever got smashed.   That's not really directed at Nepsin to be clear, but it is something have had to deal with many..many times over the years.    As far as the Inquisitor stuff goes, I really doubt that  sounds like some people who decided they didn't like the lead so where going to smear them, unless evidence that'snot some out of context snippets was given sounds like salt.   Person may like esex but seen no evidence of them pressuring people into it for position .  So I agree it's toxic, but the toxic part is making allegations like that without presentation of evidence.  The only time someone got banned for things partly out of sim was Kietay as it got to the point it could clearly be defined as stalking though combined with her harassment of GM's.

Never automatically believe allegations, require evidence.   SWRP has many people who are as interested in starting drama OOC as IC, so have to fully analyze each case.  I could fill a novel with all the mistruth that has been stated over the years about me.   You are correct, you have been doing more than your share Sume, but on close/reopen, every now and then it is needed to reorganize and try to put down a stronger foundation. Which is part of what I feel like gets misunderstood.  Part of why I do what I do is to try to find people who are going to help even out the load so you(Sume), me, and others who are doing more than their share do not feel they have to try to handle so much.   I am only aware of Marrons antics Sume, as far as I know he's on a 24hour timeout, if he's done things since it can be increased.

I have been torn on it, I bit my lip last week since it had been so long since had gotten much of, making myself give more time.  Then I saw tonight where spent pretty much all night over there while we're just trying to keep head above water and became convinced that you just don't care all that much.  Which again is your pergotivebutit's mine to try to make the sim function in a way where I don't feel like I have to work 24/7.  I mean do you realize I probably put 80 hours of work on a weekly basis into it lately? It's a lot.  I have to find help, I can't keep doing that.   Even when you don't see me I'm probably in blender or on docs for the sim.  I can't be builder, admin, rp initiator, storyteller, faction leaderx20833.   Though I know things will pick up more than they have been, even if the sim is active I just can't keep doing so much and those who I've mentioned that are doing more than their share will burn out, inevitably if not already.

I'mma be honest too. I work hard here. I make a lot of shit. I help newbies. I make rp. I try to keep factions going. I yell at a lot of people. I try and fix and develop systems. At the moment I dont want to be on sim at all. Two of my major storylines have been destroyed because of OOC staff actions(Inquisition and now jedi). Another two have been destroyed because of ooc player drama drama(Forge and Rebels). I log in and I see the people causing drama huddling together and see logs of them talking shit even still. I try and get shit fixed and I hit a wall every time. I get people complaining almost daily to me (I'm talking non friends. I'm talking player base) about the inaction of staff to deal with issues and drama. I get questions about whats happening with X faction and Y storyline and I have no answer. My character is fucking stuck in this loop of being unable to progress in his storyline and the people I'm rping with are leaving because of the actions of others or because of drama. The people I work with here in staff chat... well most are either taking a break or wanting to because of issues not being fixed.

Also the only one saying you need to be those things is you Eva. People would happily do shit. People have offered to help or completely take over tasks. They get ignored or they are not trusted enough to oversee them.  And then its so frustrating to see you say that you get no help or that people arent offering.... when its like, they have and get ignored. Or it gets so micromanaged that it would have been easier for you to do it yourself.
