  1. >Be anon, go to Equestria, etc. etc. etc. You've heard that enough by now to get the fucking point.
  2. >You've been around for a couple months, and have managed to work up enough bits to build yourself a human-style house.
  3. >In the mean time, you stayed with a couple of nice mares, Lyra and Bonbon.
  4. >You see them around town fairly frequently and occasionally chat.
  5. >On a calm, cool morning with your hoodie and jeans on, you are watering your lawn, when you notice a patch of your grass is a different shade of green.
  6. >You walk over to it and see that Lyra is passed out on your lawn.
  7. >The hospital is all the way across town and, without proper head rest, any injuries may get worse.
  8. >You pick her up, in a sorta-sideways fashion so that you can hold her neck in the position she was while on your lawn.
  9. >You set her down on your couch on her stomach, so that the armrest can be used to support her head.
  10. >Once she's properly in place, you walk out your door and head towards the hospital.
  11. >About 30 minutes later, you arrive to find out the hospital is closed. Why the fuck is a hospital closed?
  12. >With no other options, you must resort to magic.
  13. >You begin to walk towards the giant crystal tree-like castle, where Twilight is still probably sleeping while Spike cleans up.
  14. >You knock on the massive purple doors, which caused a loud echo throughout the castle.
  15. >After a few rapid pitter-patter sounds, the door opens up.
  16. >"Dig the swell hoodie, Anon, but why are you hear so early in the morning.
  17. "I found Lyra passed out in my lawn and the hospital is closed, so I came to see if Twilight might be able to help."
  18. >"She's still asleep right now, but I don't think she'll mind if one of her subjects is in danger."
  19. >Spike let you in and led you through the labyrinthian that is this over-sized castle in the middle of a rural town until you got to Twilight's room.
  20. >*knock knock* "Twilight, wake up, anon is here to see you!"
  21. >"Ugghhhh... what's so important that you have to wake me up at 5:30 in the morning Spike? You know that I was up late reading that book on famous historical leaders"
  22. >He says that he found Lyra past out in his yard this morning and that the hospital is closed."
  23. >"What? Why is the hospital closed? I thought they were supposed to have 24/7 service since Celestia passed that law a couple years ago. Ugh. I'll be right out. Then I'll have to have a little talk with Nurse Redheart."
  24. >You and Twilight swiftly walk back to your house to find Lyra still sitting in the same place you left her.
  25. >"Let me have a look, Anon. I'll tell you what I can figure out."
  26. >Her horn began to glow purple as she carefully examined Lyra with her magic
  27. >A few minutes of Twilight's examination, she turns toward you with a relaxed face.
  28. >"She seems to have just fallen asleep on your lawn after a long day. You know how those can drain your energy."
  29. "Hmm... Well, ok. I guess I'll just let her sleep here for a while then. Not like I could do anything about it anyways. From what I remember she is a pretty heavy sleeper."
  30. >"Heh. Well I'm going to go see why the hospital is closed and make sure that it doesn't happen again."
  31. >You walk Twilight to the door and let her out. Once she was gone, you decide to finish watering your lawn.
  32. >Since you were doing this later than usual, a few ponies were walking by, but the town was still mostly asleep.
  33. >You head back inside to see Lyra still sleeping. Its good to know that shes not injured.
  34. >You sit down quietly next to her and scratch her behind the ear, she always did love that.
  35. >After about a minute, she wakes up.
  36. >"Whe-Where am I. And who is scratching my ear?"
  37. "Good morning Lyra."
  38. >"A-anon? Why am I in your house?"
  39. "You were passed out in my front lawn this morning so I brought you inside. I was worried, so I had Twilight check to see if you were hurt."
  40. >By this point you had stopped scratching her ear and she was sitting on haunches, facing you.
  41. >"Oh yeah. Me and Bonbon got into a bit of an argument, and I decided it would be best for me to spend the night at the hotel or something. I guess I didn't quite get there."
  42. "Its not a big deal Lyra. You can stay here for the night if you get in an argument again anytime."
  43. >"Well... umm.... would you mind if I stayed here for the week? Things got pretty heated between us.
  44. "Sure Lyra. Stay as long as you need. You helped me when I needed a place to stay, so I think its about time a repay the favor."
  45. >"Really?! Thank you sooo much Anon. I just need to run and grab my lyre and few other things."
  46. "Just don't pass out along the way."
  47. >"Ha ha ha. So funny." She gets up and walks out the door.
  48. >You decide to prepare breakfast for the two of you, since she is a guest in you house.
  49. >While cooking up a stack of blueberry pancakes, Lyra walks back in.
  50. "Welcome back Lyra."
  51. >"Hey Anon. What's that smell?"
  52. "Just some blueberry pancakes. They're almost ready."
  53. >You stack a few on both of your plates, giving yourself a couple more since you're a human and tend to eat more.
  54. >You pour a deep amber brown syrup over both stacks of pancakes, encasing them is a sweet, gooey shell. You add a little puff of whip cream on top both stacks, which serves as the thrones for the cherries that now rest on them.
  55. >You take both plates out to the living room, where Lyra is sitting in her strange way on the couch.
  56. >You place her plate in front of her, and set yours down where you are going to sit.
  57. >"Looks good, anon"
  58. "Thanks. Let me grab some silverware and napkins."
  59. >You head back into the kitchen where you place a couple napkins, forks, and butter knifes on the counter. You also pour a couple glasses of orange juice to go along with the tantalizing meal you had prepared.
  60. >You walk back into the room, and place a glass and some silverware next to each plate.
  61. >You and Lyra both dig in immediately the moment you sit down, and the meal is over in about five minutes.
  62. >"That was delicious Anon. Are you going to make these every morning?"
  63. "I sure am. Now, let me show where you will be sleeping."
  64. >You walk her down the hall, both of you walking slowly due to your bloated stomachs.
  65. >You open a door on the right that leads to your guest room.
  66. "Here you are, Lyra. Bathroom is further down the hall and to the left. If you need any more pillow or blankets, just let me know, okay?"
  67. >"Thanks anon. This is more than I was expecting when I asked to stay for a few days."
  68. "Nonsense, you are guest, not a refugee, and I will treat you as such."
  69. >While she moves her stuff into her room, you sit on the couch and just relax.
  70. >You're looking out of the sliding glass double doors onto your back yard, when Lyra comes out of the hallway looks at you.
  71. >You make eye contact for a brief second before she kept walking.
  72. >Something seems off about her, but you can't put your finger on it
  73. >You dismiss it as being early and the bright sunlight coming through the glass doors.
  74. "You have any plans for the day Lyra?"
  75. >"Not much. I have to go play my lyre at a restaurant at around 4 this afternoon, but nothing else is happening. What about you, Anon?"
  76. "I need to guy buy some groceries, and I don't have to work on Saturdays. There's also a few things that I need to do to the house, so I can keep myself busy."
  77. >"Oh. Maybe I can help! What are you going to be doing?"
  78. "Not too much. I've been considering renovating my kitchen and I want to repaint my bedroom. Although, I don't want to make my guest work, especially after having an argument with one of their close friends."
  79. >"Its fine Anon, I want to help. If anything, it will help me take my mind off that whole situation."
  80. "If you insist, you can help."
  81.
  82. >You walk back home with a few bags of groceries, mainly just extra orange juice, blueberries, syrup, and pancake ingredients.
  83. >You also got a can of gray-blue paint and primer to repaint your room. You plan on leaving the edges white.
  84. >You walk into your house to hear Lyra tuning her lyre for her upcoming performance.
  85. >You set the groceries on the counter and the paint in your room. You see Lyra tuning her harp with magic in the guest room along the way.
  86. >Somethings still seems off. Her horn and lyre were encased in a bright green glow, a different shade of green from her coat.
  87. >You swear her magic was a golden color before. Maybe a unicorn can change what color their magic is. You'll have to ask Twilight later, for now, you have a room to paint.
  88. "Lyra, you ready to paint?"
  89. >"Yeah, sure Anon."
  90. >She sets her lyre down on the bed and walks over to you
  91. "I'll be doing the edging, you just get the walls."
  92. >You hand her a paint roller as you take a brush
  93. >"Sounds good to me, Anon."
  94. >Once in your room, you put some primer in a paint tray for Lyra, and then you get started on the tedious edges.
  95. >The priming goes by quick since it doesn't have to be perfect.
  96. >After washing out the roller, the brush, and the paint tray, you prepare the paint. This takes much longer because it doesn't spread as much and you didn't want to miss a spot.
  97. "Thanks Lyra. Now, you should probably go take a shower to get the paint off of your coat."
  98. >"No problem. I'll try not to use all the hot water."
  99.
  100. >Now that Lyra is gone, you finally have a chance to ask Twilight if unicorns can change the color of their magic.
  101. >You head towards Twilight's new castle.
  102. >Upon arriving, you see Twilight talking to Rainbow Dash outside.
  103. >"C'mon Twilight, it would be so awesome if you could do some cool tricks."
  104. >"For the last time Rainbow Dash, I'm not interested in learning how to fly into every building in Ponyville."
  105. >"But Twi-"
  106. "Hey girls."
  107. >"Hey Anon! Can you help me convince Twilight to let me teach her some of my cool moves?"
  108. "Sorry Dash, but I'm actually here to ask Twilight a question about magic."
  109. >"Pfffft. Magic is sooooooo boring. My tricks are WAY cooler."
  110. >"Rainbow! Anon is here to ask me a question. Why do you insist on getting everypony to try to convince me to learn aerial stunts? Now, Anon, what is your question?
  111. "I was wondering if a unicorn can change the color of their magic."
  112. >"Hmm... I'm not sure if there is a spell for that, Anon. The only time I've seen somepony change the the color of their magic is when Cadance did before the wedding, but that wasn't actually Cadance. Lets go see if I have any books about it."
  113. >Twilight and Spike were looking around Twilight's bookshelves for anything on magic. They pulled out a dusty, medium sized book.
  114. >She opens it and starts to skim through it for anything about the color of a unicorns magic.
  115. >"Hmm... says here that a unicorns magic is always the same color from birth. Not even an illusion spell can change the color of magic."
  116. >"So why do you ask, Anon?"
  117. "I was just curious. Thanks for your time, princess."
  118. >You leave the castle, wondering how Lyra's magic changed colors. Didn't Twilight say something about a changeling?
  119.
  120. >You remember that when you first arrived in Equestria, Twlight told you about these Changelings. The lecture was boring and you slept through most of it, but you do remember a couple things.
  121. >The can change their form, and they feed off of love and friendship
  122. >That would sure explain why she passed out after an argument.
  123. >But, before you outright call someone a changeling, you need proof. You think her magic has changed colors, but you can't be sure.
  124. >You need to ask a pony who knows everything about Lyra, so you head to Bonbon's house.
  125. >You know on the door. The sound is soon followed by the sound of hoofsteps.
  126. >The door opens and Bonbon standing there with a bored expression.
  127. >"Hey Anon, what brings you here."
  128. "Twilight asked me to help her gather information about unicorns eye color and magic color. I can't seem to find Lyra anywhere, so I figured I should ask her best friend."
  129. >"Yeah, sure. Her magic and eyes are very similar in color, both are a golden-ish color."
  130. "Thank you, Bonbon. That's all I need."
  131. >"Anytime, Anon."
  132. >You leave the house and head straight for Twilight's castle again.
  133. >Upon arriving at the castle, you find that Twilight has gone out to eat for a special public meeting with her friends.
  134. >Changeling Lyra leaves to play at a restaurant... Twilight, an important princess, goes to a restaurant for a public meeting.
  135. "Shit."
  136. >You run down the street, looking for Twilight and her friends or Lyra, and listening for the sounds of a lyre.
  137.
  138. >You see a rainbow tail slip into a restaurant just down the street.
  139. >You know you can't enter through the front door, because Lyra may see you.
  140. >You sneak around back and see a few trash cans stacked against the wall, making you just tall enough to climb onto the balcony dining area.
  141. >Once you get up there, you peak inside. Twilight and her friends are in the middle of the room, with everyone else staring at them.
  142. >They all have green eyes, and the few unicorns using their magic all have the same color of magic as Lyra.
  143. >You don't have to worry about the crowd noticing you, since they don't know who you are.
  144. >You begin to walk inside, keeping low and standing behind columns.
  145. >You can see Lyra playing her lyre, and her magic is still that bright green.
  146. >You are about halfway through the restaurant, when you bump into a waiter.
  147. >Some of the nearby patrons begin to look at you funny with their green eyes.
  148. >You pick up the dropped plates, which were fortunately unbroken, and you hand the waiter a few bits.
  149. "Carry on everypony, just a minor mishap."
  150. >You continue to make your way to Twilight
  151. >Your at their special booth, which is surrounded by columns. You take a seat behind one of them, out of sight of Lyra.
  152. >"Anon, what in the hay are you doin' here?"
  153. >"Yeah, its not cool to interrupt someones meal like that."
  154. >"It is rather unruly to just take a seat at an occupied, especially when a princess is at that table."
  155. >Fluttershy was just sitting there, hiding her face a little from you.
  156. >"I say, the more, the merrier
  157. >"Anon, why are you here?"
  158. "Look, girls. Everyone in this restaurant besides us is a changeling. Just look at their eyes and their magic, its the same shade of green."
  159. >"Anon, there is NO WAY that there are any changelings in Ponyville. They were dealt with at the wedding, remember?"
  160. "They were blasted away, not eliminated. They might be attacking a weaker target to gain a foothold in Equestria. You gotta believe me."
  161.
  162. >"I'm sorry Anon, but its just too unlikely that the changelings are back."
  163. >"I dunno Twilight. It is kinda strange that everpony is starin' at us and that they all got the same eyecolor and even magic color."
  164. "Twilight, you told me yourself that a unicorns magic cannot change color. I noticed that Lyra's magic was green, which didn't feel right to me. I asked Bonbon what color her magic was, and she told it was golden. Who knows Lyra better than Bonbon?"
  165. >"T-That is true, b-but if we are surrounded by ch-changelings, they will easily overp-power us."
  166. >You could see Twilight starting to shake, and her friends were getting nervous. You needed to do something before they blow it.
  167. "Look, Twilight calm down. I have an idea. Spike, send a letter to the princesses that Twilight and her friends are surrounded by a small army of changelings."
  168. >"Umm... ok Anon, if you think it will help."
  169. >He quickly wrote the letter and sent it up in flames. He got a response back almost immediately."
  170. >He read it aloud "Dear Spike, I will send the royal guard to your location at once. Luna and I will also be there in case Chrysalis is there. Do not draw any attention to the fact that you know that they are changelings to delay attack as long as possible."
  171. "Why would you read that out loud. The entire restaurant could of heard you."
  172. >You, Spike, Twilight, and her friends look around to see all of the ponies getting closer to them. Lyra has stopped playing her lyre and emitted a bright green flash.
  173. >"It is too late to stop us, Twilight Sparkle. You are surrounded by my minions, and by the time the princesses get here, it will look as if you dealt with the problem."
  174. >A green goo begins to encase you, and one of the changelings copy your form.
  175. >"We knew we could use this new, ignorant creature as a gateway into Ponyville."
  176. >A few of the other changelings become Twilight and her friends, the rest of the changelings leave the restaurant.
  177. >You wake up feeling light-headed.
  178. >It takes you a second to realize you are upside down and in some sort of semi-transparent green sac.
  179. >You remember being encased in this thing, but not beings moved to... wherever you are.
  180. >You look around and see Twilight Sparkle and her friends in a similar situation.
  181. >Across the room, you notice something moving.
  182. >Lyra is one of the green pods as well, possibly trying to break free.
  183. >Lyra's pod falls to the ground and shattered, leaving Lyra in a pile of green goop.
  184. >She walks to where you are and you shake a little to let her know you are awake.
  185. >She frees you with her magic.
  186. >"Look, the others won't wake up for a couple of days. You, as a human, must be more resistant to the goo that changelings use to keep their captives quiet. We have to get out of here and tell Celestia what's happening."
  187. "Agreed."
  188. >You both begin to move as fast as possible while still being silent.
  189. >There are very few changelings around, probably because they had to replace half of the population of ponyville and still more need to be on standby in the shadows.
  190. >The hive is incredibly confusing. You've seen plenty of holes to the outside above you, but you can't fly.
  191. >You've come to several dead ends, and you can't follow a breeze due to the holes above you.
  192. >After about 30 more minutes of aimless wandering, you find a way out.
  193. >You are on a mountain and can barely make out Ponyville in the distance, the mountain Canterlot sits on is a spec in the distance.
  194. "We need to hurry to Ponyville. Twilight requested the princesses help who knows how long ago. They might still be there, being fooled by the changelings disguises."
  195. >"Then what are we waiting for?"
  196. >You and Lyra sprint off towards Ponyville
  197. >Once you get there, you sneak around town, looking for signs of the princesses and the royal guards.
  198. >Nothing. They must have returned to Canterlot already.
  199. "How are supposed to get to Canterlot? There's no way that the changelings will just let us on a train, especially to the princesses."
  200. >"Maybe we could get on the other side of the tracks and wait for a train to come and jump on the side."
  201. "Not a bad idea, but we know the changelings plan to get Canterlot in the least suspicious way possible. Maybe we can take out our duplicates and act like changelings until they decided to sneak in by train."
  202. >"Lets try your plan first, and then just hide and hitch a ride if things go wrong."
  203. >After watching the disguised changelings walking around for about an hour, you spot the changeling who stole your identity. Lyra spotter hers earlier and began to follow in the shadows.
  204. >You carefully creep through the alleyways of ponyville, keeping an eye on the changeling as much as possible.
  205. >Eventually, he walks into your house.
  206. >They actually know where you live
  207. >This is perfect though, you have large a stowaway underneath a rug for rare valuables you may finds. You creep up to the door, which you left unlocked when you left.
  208. >You pick up a fairly large rock before you enter.
  209. >You see the changeling sitting on the couch, you begin to approach him.
  210. >You manage to get right behind him, and lift the rock into the air above your head.
  211. >You slam down as hard as you can.
  212. >Upon hitting it, it reverted back to normal. You're surprised the thing isn't dead, only unconscious. It must be the exoskeleton.
  213. >You tie it up with some rope you bought a while back and gag it with with your dirty socks.
  214. >You then place the changeling in the secret compartment and cover it back up.
  215. >You can now walk freely around Ponyville
  216. >Time to go see if Lyra got as lucky as you did.
  217. >After walking around for a bit, you see a pony that looks like Lyra. You walk up to her and see that her eyes are golden.
  218. "You got your copycat as well?"
  219. >"Mhmm. Now we just need to wait for a train."
  220. >After waiting for a few hours, a train finally arrived.
  221. >The changeling ticket salespony is giving out tickets for free.
  222. >You and Lyra grab one and get on the train to Canterlot, surrounded by changelings and passengers from far away cities.
  223. >The train ride is uncomfortable, just because you know that with a single wrong move, you and Lyra will be either killed or held prisoner again.
  224. >After about an hour or so, the train arrives in Canterlot.
  225. >You and Lyra go towards the castle.
  226. >Being the only human in Equestria has its perks, like being able to visit Celestia any time without an appointment.
  227. >You reach the throne room and see Celestia sitting there, looking at her newly arrived visitors with her green eyes..
  228. >"Why, hello Anon. Having any problems? And how are you, Lyra?"
  229. >"Something isn't right, Anon"
  230. "I know Lyra. I see her green eyes."
  231. >"What are we gonna do?"
  232. "Just leave it to me"
  233. "Hey Celestia, I heard there was a changeling attack in ponyville. I wasn't there because I was helping Lyra here in Canterlot with her music, and I'm concerned about the town."
  234. >"I went there with some of the royal guard, but it would seem that Twilight and her friends got control over the situation after requesting my assistance."
  235. "Thank you princess for telling me."
  236. >"Yes. And why did you bring her along with you?"
  237. "Her best friend, Bonbon, lives in Ponyville and she was also concerned about what she heard."
  238. >"Very well. Is there anything else you need?"
  239. "No Celestia. That is all."
  240. >You and Lyra exit the castle.
  241. >"What are we going to do?"
  242. "We're going to have to find Chrysalis herself, and take her down."
  243. >"But how? She could look like anypony."
  244. "You're a unicorn and we have the largest library in Equestria within walking distance. Time to find a detection spell."
  245. >You and Lyra find your way to the royal library without any problems.
  246. >Sometimes it feels as if someone or something is watching you, but that's just your paranoia talking.
  247. "Well. Twilight has told me quite a bit about this one unicorn 'Starswirl the Bearded'. Maybe we should look for books by him'"
  248. >"Sounds like a good start."
  249. >You both begin to scrounge up books from the Starswirl section.
  250. >You both together bring back about 10 books.
  251. "This is a lot to read"
  252. >"Maybe the books have some sort of table of contents or glossary."
  253. >You both begin to look in the front and the back of books, until you find something on tracking and detection.
  254. "Hey Lyra, take a look at this."
  255. >"Hmm... that spell would work, but we need a piece of her for it to track her."
  256. "Where are we going to find Chrysalis samples? Its not like ponies are just selling that on the side of the street."
  257. >"I can think of one place, but you're not gonna like it."
  258. "Where?"
  259. >"We can probably find some of her hair in her throne room."
  260. "Are you suggesting that we go back into the hive, to the most protected point, just for some hair."
  261. >"Yes."
  262. "Well, what other choice do we have? Lets go."
  263. >You head back to the train station to get to Ponyville. The tickets were free here too.
  264. >Along the way, you and Lyra both check on the changelings you knocked out. He was starting to wake up, until he was hit in the head again.
  265. >Once you got to the outskirts of Ponyville, you broke into a light jog. There was no time to waste.
  266. >When you finally saw the hive, you slowed down and began to creep up towards it.
  267. >There seemed to be a bit more activity than before, but not much at that.
  268. >You quickly find an unguarded entrance and walk in.
  269. >Along the way, you pass Twilight and her friends, still unconscious in their green pods.
  270. >As you and Lyra approach the center of the hive, a buzzing sound grows louder and louder.
  271. "You heat that Lyra?"
  272. >"Yeah, it sounds like a beehive."
  273. >Upon reaching the throne room, you realize whats going on.
  274. >Chrysalis is holding an assembly with all of the other changelings who aren't in the position of a pony.
  275. >"My minions, there is only one threat left to us! We must take control of the Crystal Empire. There, the have a crystal that is practically pure love! If I were to devour it, I would become for powerful than all four of the alicorns combined!
  276. But be warned! The empire is ruled by the undoers of our last attempt at controlling Equestria!"
  277. >The whole hive began to shake as a thunderous roar came from the changelings. The buzzing also became louder as more of the changelings took to the air with excitement.
  278. >You realize that you are in for it if they catch you.
  279. "Lyra... we gotta move. If we don't get out of here now, or find somewhere to hide, they will capture us again."
  280. >"There's no way we can outrun them, they can fly."
  281. >You grasp her on the shoulders, looking at her with desperate eyes.
  282. "Then were the fuck do we hide."
  283. >"Maybe down one of the smaller side tunnels, odds are they will head towards and exit."
  284. >With no other options, you run down the nearest tunnel, sweat pouring off your body from the anxiety and the exercise.
  285. >You can hear Lyra right behind you. She's panting hard.
  286. >The tunnel was beginning to get smaller, and you decide to stop.
  287. "If they find us in here, we're dead meat. There is no escape and no way we can fight off all of those changelings, especially with Chrysalis around."
  288. >"You think I don't know that?"
  289. "Just stay quiet."
  290. >You could feel your heart pounding the inside of your chest. You temples are throbbing and your clothes are soaked through.
  291. >The buzzing gets a little louder as the swarm passes by the entrance of the tunnel.
  292. >Time feels as if its going by in slow motion.
  293. >The seemingly endless swarm was still flying by.
  294. >After what felt like an eternity, the last few stragglers of the obsidian pests fly by.
  295.
  296. >"Okay Anon. We have one more things to do."
  297. "Yeah yeah, I know. We need some of Chrysalis' hair."
  298. >You both walk out of the tunnel calmly, and turn towards the throne room.
  299. >You're still drenched in sweat, and its starting to smell.
  300. >The halls are eerily silent compared to how loud it just was.
  301. >You peek into the throne room. Its empty.
  302. >You signal Lyra to come inside
  303. >The throne itself in intricately decorated. Fine engravings ran the length of each side, depicting what may be this history of the changelings.
  304. >You see a few out-of-place blue lines and snag them.
  305. "There. I have some of her hair. Is it enough to cast the spell?"
  306. >"It should be enough, but are you sure you want to face Chrysalis? How are even going to fight her?
  307. "I'll play exterminator when the time comes. For now, start that horn up."
  308. >"If you say so." Her horn began to glow with a golden aura. A few beams of golden light were wrapping around the strands of hair and lifting them up slowly.
  309. >Suddenly, they formed an arrow shape, pointing towards the exit.
  310. "Well then. Lets roast ourselves a roach."
  311. >You walk through Ponyville, making a beeline for the train station.
  312. >You grab a couple of free tickets for the Crystal Empire, and set off for the frozen north.
  313. >It doesn't take long for you to wish you brought and extra jacket or something. Its really fucking cold.
  314. >The train finally pulls to a stop at a station made of mostly crystals.
  315. "What is this place, a six-year-old girl's dreamland? Everything is hearts and crystals."
  316. >"Its the Crystal Empire, where Cadance and Shining Armor rule together. Underneath that castle is the crystal heart. Its what absorbs love from the crystal ponies once a year and keeps them all happy. Its also what Chrysalis is after.
  317. "We should probably get to Cadance and tell her whats going on. Maybe she can spare some of her royal guard for defense."
  318. "Why... are there.... so.... many stairs..."
  319. >"I don't know, but we gotta get to Cadence before Chrysalis does. I can feel her getting closer."
  320. >Once you finally make it to the top, you can hardly feel your legs.
  321. "Man. I'm not going to be able to walk for week after that."
  322. >"C'mon Anon. Now's not the time. We're almost there."
  323. >You pick up the pace again as you dash towards the throne room at the end of the hall.
  324. "Cadance... Changelings... Celestia... Hungry... Crystal Heart... Help."
  325. >"What he's trying to say is that you are the only princess left in Equestria and Chrysalis is on her way here to steal the crystal heart."
  326. >"I though the changelings were death with already?"
  327. "They blasted away, not eliminated. You and Shining Armor need to set up some defenses. I'm going after Chrysalis."
  328. >"What in the name of Celestia are you going to do to Chrysalis when even Celestia couldn't stop her."
  329. >"That's what I said!"
  330. "Lets just say I brought a little something from my world that will make her unable to touch me."
  331. >"Okay. We'll have out guards up around the crystal heart and we'll both put a force field up. And whatever crazy plan you have, good luck."
  332. >You and Lyra head back down the stairs and go out of the castle.
  333. >She still has her tracking spell cast, and its pointing towards the south.
  334. "Okay Lyra, Imma go it alone from here. Thanks for all of your help."
  335. >"Anon. You don't have to do this by yourself. This is Chrysalis we're talking about here."
  336. "Just trust me Lyra. Humans may not have magic, but they sure as hell know how to manipulate our resources into something that is almost purely for comfort."
  337. >"I have no Idea what that's supposed mean, but I'll take your word for it. Celestiaspeed Anon."
  338. >You walk alone towards the southern horizon, where you can see a massive black cloud coming your way.
  339. "Lets do this."
  340. >You are invincible.
  341. >The changelings can't get within 15 feet of you, and neither can their magic.
  342. >They are flying so fast at you, that when they crash into your shield, they knock themselves out.
  343. "Changelings, you are powerless against humanities self-indulgence! Move out of my way, so that I may face your leader in combat!"
  344. >They did not listen at all.
  345. >The continued to pelt you until only Chrysalis remained.
  346. >She stood there, dumbfounded.
  347. >"H-how did you defeat my entire army? It was 10,000 strong, yet you defeated them by doing nothing."
  348. "Humans really don't like bugs. You are basically a giant bug. In fact, you are basically a giant bug that feeds off of something vital, can fly, and gets bigger the more you feed. You are a mosquito, and I have OFF CLIP-ON MOSQUITO REPELLANT! YOU ARE POWERLESS AS LONG I HAVE THIS ON MY WAIST!"
  349. >"It would seem that way, but what will you do to stop me?"
  350. "That's simple. We also invented bug repellent, in the form of a spray!"
  351. >You pull out a bottle of bug repellent spray and squirt Chrysalis with it.
  352. >Her pupils shrink as she realizes what you've done.
  353. >She cannot stand to be around herself anymore. The sensation is so overpowering that she cannot think or even move.
  354. >She wants to run in every direction, yet she doesn't want to move an inch.
  355. >You take advantage of this and hit her in the head with a large rock.
  356. >The entire hive is weakened by the defeat of their leader, and the changelings lose control over their power to transform.
  357. >The green pods can no longer sustain themselves, and every pony is free.
  358. >Chrysalis is put into a special jail and the rest of the changelings are stuck inside of their hive permanently due to is being covered in bug repellents, which were duplicated off of Anon after his victory.
  359.
  360. The end...
