The Sandlot Part 2: NOBODY GOT MISANDRY'S NAME UNTIL NOW

<Wrong_Way>: LAST TIME IN S-MEN
<Wrong_Way>: WE ACTUALLY HAD AN RP
<Wrong_Way>: BUT NOW IS NOT THAT TIME
<Wrong_Way>: BUT YEAH LAST TIME
<Wrong_Way>: That old guy left, and Skyler was left in the ring wearing a possibly dead dude's boxing gloves with Greene hanging out on the corner. Now would be a perfect time for words of encouragement.
Skyler looks over to Greene with a scared smile
Greene looks at Skyler, blinking silently
<Skyler>: "You're... you're not allowed to kick in these, right?"
<Greene>: "Yeah..." he looks around at the ring as well as at the gloves. "Have you ever had a real fight like that before? Boxing?"
Skyler 's nervous smile grows wider
Greene just gives him an extremely worried stare
<Wrong_Way>: The ring is clear of all the sand from before. It's a standard ring and the champion known as Misandry is talking to a mousy guy who seems to be directing his anger very visibly at Skyler in his green spandex suit.
<Greene>: "...So do you really know how to fight?"
<Skyler>: "Well, I mean... on a theoretical basis?"
<Greene>: ".........."
<Greene>: "...Use your wings"
<Greene>: "Maneuver around"
<Greene>: "It should help make up for /that/"
<Skyler>: "Still probably better than you..."
<Greene>: "I'm the only one in the school with military experience"
<Skyler>: "Yeah, but you can't shoot a guy when you're boxing."
<Greene>: "I'd show you otherwise but I'd rather not have you wounded before you even really started. Now take the advice"
<Greene>: "Be as quick and nimble as you can"
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry seems to have calmed down his manager looking dude and is now giving Skyler an intent look.
<Wrong_Way>: It's time.
<Skyler>: "Okay, yeah, I can do that."
Skyler looks back to Misandry and gives him a nonchalant shrug in his general direction
<Greene>: "For your sake I hope so" he leans back, putting his scarf over his face as he fully expects to have to intervene and save the day. Again.
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry finally steps into his corner and the referee steps in the center and pulls down a mic from above that appeared out of nowhere. Perhaps a mutant ability.
<Wrong_Way>: "LAAADIES AND GENNTLEMENNN!"
<Wrong_Way>: "THE NEXT MATCH OF THE EVENING IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!"
<Wrong_Way>: Many parts of the crowd are running to make last minute bets on this match at the end of the room, the odds looking like against Skyler for 10000/1

Skyler swaggers into his corner and cracks his neck
Skyler gives a smile and a thumbs up to Greene
<Wrong_Way>: "IIIINNNN THIS COORRNERRRR, WEIGHING INNN AT A HUNDRED AND EIGHTY EIGHT POUNDS..."
<Wrong_Way>: "OUURRRR CHAMP! OUR SANDBLASTER!"
<Wrong_Way>: "IT'S MISANDRY!"
Greene would have encouraging words for him.... but nah, he should be fine. He doesn't give a thumbs up back, just keeping his lightly apathetic and amused expression
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd goes wild, cheering on their reigning champion. Misandry pleases the crowd with a flex and a few air punches
<Wrong_Way>: The referee waits for the crowd to dim down to introduce Skyler
<Wrong_Way>: "AND IN THISSS CORNERRRRR, WEIGHINGGG IN AT...."
<Wrong_Way>: The referee gives Skyler a look, unsure.
Skyler wavers his hand
<Skyler>: "70-ish?"
<Wrong_Way>: "EIGHTY POUNDS! HE'S READY AND GONNA TAKE A SHOT AT OUR CHAMP, HE'S...."
<Wrong_Way>: The referee looks back to Skyler, sick of Skyler's unprofessional behavior.
Skyler blows a kiss to the ref
<Wrong_Way>: The referee frowns at Skyler
<Wrong_Way>: "THE GREEN MEEANNNIEEE!"
Greene sighs heavily
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is cheering, mostly to seeing the match start and get their money's worth of illegal mutant boxing.
Skyler looks around at the crowd and flares his wings out some to look more imposing
<Wrong_Way>: Someone in the crowd whistles and yells "TAKE IT OFF"
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry steps forward from the corner and now stands in the center ready to fight.
Skyler steps over to the center and looks around, somewhat confused
<Wrong_Way>: The referee pulls the two of them in to talk
<Wrong_Way>: "Alright boys, I want a good clean match. Sandy, don't end this match early or else I'm gonna get your manager on my ear again."
<Wrong_Way>: "Let's see some punches."
<Skyler>: "You do those with your /hands/, right?"
<Greene>: "My god..."
<Wrong_Way>: The referee looks at Skyler "You're a catcher aren't you kid?"
<Skyler>: "I never played baseball."
<Greene>: "Oh my god"
<Greene>: "This is happening"
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry does not seem to be liking Skyler's smart ass comments.
<Wrong_Way>: "I'm ready to break you."
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry holds up his gloves to do a glove tap.
<Skyler>: "Just like you did with your hopes and dreams of a normal, stable career?"
<Greene>: "Well, he could have said something worse..."
<Wrong_Way>: The referee moves the two of you back
<Wrong_Way>: "Okay okay, back to your corners. Wait for the bell."
Skyler does a little heart with his hands as he backs off
Greene pulls up a chair, leaning back and looking like he's watching a train wreck
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry seems to be gritting his teeth and practicing punching with his free hand
Skyler breathes some fog onto his gloves and shines them with his elbows
Greene once again chooses to miss a chance to give him a pep talk
<Wrong_Way>: The referee heads to the side of the ring and signals for the bell to ring. The first round has begun.
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry heads to the center, ready to block any first move.

<Wrong_Way>: Misandry is visibly torn between killing skyler and upholding the sacred rules of boxing as he hopefully waits for a punch
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is on edge, shouting and waiting for the first move.

Skyler suddenly dashes forward and ducks lower than anyone could go without wing support, before jumping up to let out a wild haymaker uppercut at Misandry's jaw
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry is hit hard, not expecting a sudden hit by a kid in green spandex. He goes down and the referee, flabbergasted starts counting.
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is frothing with rage, shouting for Misandry to get up
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry starts pulling himself up with the ropes lining the ring and the crowd cheers him on and yells at him.
<Skyler>: "C'mon man, I didn't take you for a jobber."
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry grits his teeth and spits in Skyler's direction a bloody loogie.
Skyler grimaces and wipes it off his spandex
<Skyler>: "I'd be mad, but I'm actually borrowing this anyways..."
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry pulls up before the count is over and is back in his stance waiting to get a revenge strike
<Wrong_Way>: Somewhere, the old man who gave Skyler the spandex weeps in pain and doesn't know why
Greene watches silently
Skyler puffs out his chest and does a little provoking "come hither" motion
<Wrong_Way>: "Oh you motherfucking palooka-"
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry rushes forward and jabs Skyler's stomach all of a sudden.
Skyler takes the punch at full force, having the wind knocked out of him and lurching forward
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd woops Misandry on to beat up this kid as he comes closer ready to start punching out his liver until the referee comes between
<Wrong_Way>: "No below the belt, Sandy. Back to your corners, clean match."
<Wrong_Way>: The ref shoves you both back to your respective corners which gives you a bit to recover from that hit
Skyler goes back to his corner and spits out some blood, and then looks back up at Greene
<Skyler>: "I, uh, that's a good start, right?"
<Greene>: "How're you feeling?"
Skyler vomits another small amount of blood and seems to be breathing shallow
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry is swigging water in his mouth, scratching off the sand starting to appear on his skin and spitting out bloody spit in a bucket his manager has.
<Skyler>: "Oh, y-y'know, same old same old."
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is shouting, possibly pissed with the ref for stopping some action
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry is giving Skyler a death glare as this happens.
<Greene>: "Don't bullshit me. You got hit once and its already looking bad. Think you can last another round? You were doing fine until you decided to taunt him"
<Greene>: "Don't just leave yourself open like that"
<Greene>: "Even if it was illegal, think about your actual health here. Keep dancing around him and pulling off swift moves, don't give him any room to breathe"
<Greene>: "Y'hear?"
Skyler stabilizes himself on the rope and cracks his back to stand upright again
<Skyler>: "Right, right. Just- just still picking up on this is all."
<Greene>: "Get yourself a breather. If you can't go further just say the word and I can intervene"
<Wrong_Way>: The bell rings and the second round begins
<Greene>: "Good luck out there"
Greene sits back, going silent once more
Skyler gets a more grim expression and walks back into the ring
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry seems to be shifting up tactics by actually trying some careful blows, but they seems to keep missing Skyler.
<Wrong_Way>: However, Greene can see Misandry is trying to move Skyler into a corner of the ring.
Skyler steps back and leaps into the air, flaring out his wings and coating himself in his protective aura as he attempts to hit Misandry in the face on his descent
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry softens part of the blow with a semi up arm, but he does recoil.
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry gives a shit eating grin, "That all you can do?"
<Wrong_Way>: Then a tooth falls out.
Skyler lands and lunges forward again, attempting to rocket himself, fists out, into Misandry's gut
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry was too busy looking at his suddenly dislodged tooth to even defend himself from that blow. He's down and in pain, struggling to get up.
<Wrong_Way>: The referee starts the count, as Misandry tries to drag himself to a rope.
Skyler walks over to kick Misandry's tooth out of the ring
Skyler looks back to Greene and gives a thumbs up again
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is in obvious conflict on this kid beating the guy they bet on and the great match they're seeing.
Greene looks slightly impressed in his apathetic way
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry can only feel rage and by this force he pulls himself up just before the 9 and is ready to go knock out Skyler before the bell rings for the end of the round
<Wrong_Way>: The referee motions for everyone back in their corners and the crowd is obviously pumped for this final 3rd round.
Skyler walks back to his corner, looking pretty smug with himself
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry's manager seems to be expressing concern over his lost tooth, but Misandry seems to be looking nowhere with his eyes full of hate.
<Skyler>: "...Are boxing matches usually this long?"
<Greene>:
<Greene>: "...No"
<Jitterbug>: oh]
<Jitterbug>: I just got misandrys name]
<Wrong_Way>: [oh my god]
<Wrong_Way>: [4 months]
<Jitterbug>: I wasnt apart of this rp!]
<Skyler>: "Huh. Am I doing good?"
<Greene>: "So far" he says rather shortly
<Greene>: "Just keep at it. The tooth was a nice touch to get him irrational. Just avoid the hits he could probably turn you into chunky salsa at this point"
<Skyler>: "I've got my protection up! I wouldn't die, like... /immediately/..."
<Wrong_Way>: The bell now rings for the final 3rd match. Misandry stands up, ready to avenge his tooth.
<Greene>: "Hopefully"
Skyler stands up and goes back into fighting position
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry holds his arms up protecting his face, and giving Skyler a look that would kill 3 guards in prison.
Skyler keeps his hands close to his face and takes what he assumes would be a defensive posittion
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is clammering, excited to see who will finally win.
Greene watches with quiet interest
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry then strikes, striking Skyler's sides with punches while his arms are up
Skyler staggers to the side, being in the weight class of a little girl but still being as tall as the average U.S. male not doing wonders for his balance
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry continues to push Skyler back toward the ropes, ready to keep striking till he falls.
Greene [silence intensifies]
Skyler shields himself with his wings and continues backing off
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry has him at the ropes and starts punching with everything he's got in him at Skyler's wings.
<Wrong_Way>: "FIGHT. ME. YOU. COWARD!"
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is eating up this turn of events.
Greene silence reaches critical mass
Skyler remembers right now that he can't hit anyone's testicles
Skyler ducks out form behind his wings and gives Misandry a punch somewhere in the neck/jaw area
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry takes the hit, but this unholy rage and the crowds cheering seems to be giving him a scary edge and he gives Skyler a "are you serious face"
<Wrong_Way>: Obviously this arena empowerment is giving him a sudden underdog power
Skyler makes a meek smile and then nimbly ducks underneath Misandry's legs and then swipes at the back of his head
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry gets hit by that and the ref comes in to intervene
<Wrong_Way>: "Alright alright, back to your corner-"
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry does not seem to be understanding words and strikes the ref
<Skyler>: "What? Am I not allowed going under peoples' legs? Because that's harder than it loo- oh fuck"
<Wrong_Way>: The ref goes down like a plane.
<Wrong_Way>: in malaysia
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd doesn't seem to care for the lost ref, more interested in this change of developments
Greene sighs, stepping right up to the ring and hopping in with an incredibly nimble movement.
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry moves in to strike Skyler
<Greene>: "Well, now that it's unofficial..."
Skyler immediately flies up and away
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry does not have a tactic for fighting winged kids
Greene intervenes, grabbing Misandry's arm and cracking his elbow down to disable it as he sweeps one of his legs. No more boxing here~
<Wrong_Way>: except throwing a ref
Skyler goes down with the ref, possibly being able to dodge but not wanting the see the man die
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry goes down as the crowd goes into full chaos as people lost bets, did not expect this and someone's baby keeps crying and won't shut up.
<Wrong_Way>: Nobody won their bets since technechly Greene did it, so everyone is broke and pissed.
<Wrong_Way>: It would not be wise to stay here much longer.
Greene lets Misandry flop to the floor, looking down with an incredibly bored expression. "Disqualified for assaulting an official, this match is over"
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry is in complete pain on the canvas as his manager is yelling profanities at you as he nurses his star.
<Skyler>: "...We need to go get my clothes."
<Greene>: "Your clothes are shit you're better off getting new ones"]
Skyler pushes the ref off him on the floor and stands up, looking as if he's powered by some primal urge
<Wrong_Way>: Your clothes are back in the locker room where you should return your green spandex
Greene follows afterward silently, leaving the chaos of the ring
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is in full on riot mode as they are now throwing cans of alcohol, glass bottles and even chairs if they can.
<Wrong_Way>: People have a hard time noticing Greene in the crowd so they focus their object throwing on Skyler since he's in visible spandex
Skyler umbrellas himself with his wings and makes a mad dash for the locker room
<Wrong_Way>: The locker room is empty and just as damaged as before. The old dude seems to be sewing clean old suit parts in order to make new ones.
Greene pulls out his communicator, informing the authorities as well as the s-men that there's definitely something fucky going on here and its about to get violent.
Skyler immediately slips out of his green spandex and into his normal attire
<Wrong_Way>: "How's this one look, kid?" says the old dude holding up a patchy suit made of other suits.
<Skyler>: "Suits the atmosphere."
<Wrong_Way>: Greene gets great reception in an underground mutant boxing ring and the authorities say they will arrive soon.
<Wrong_Way>: "You win that fight?"
<Skyler>: "Well, in the moral sense."
<Wrong_Way>: "...I don't get it."
<Greene>: "Its a riot in there"
<Skyler>: "It's a little too deep for you."
<Wrong_Way>: The old guy will remember that later.
<Skyler>: "Also we should /probably/ go because I'm not getting any beer bottle shards in this jacket. Or my wings."
<Greene>: "Right"
<Wrong_Way>: "See you next match then."
Greene books it like speedy gonzalez
<Wrong_Way>: The old guy waves to you two as you leave the locker room, sewing still.
Skyler runs after him
<Wrong_Way>: As soon as you get outside, you can hear police sirens arriving down the street.
<Skyler>: "What a fulfilling experience this was."
<Skyler>: "Are all missions going to be like this?"
<Greene>: "No"
<Wrong_Way>: "HEY YOU GUYS!"
<Wrong_Way>: Two bums in badly made costumes approach you two
<Greene>: "No and don't let anybody tell you otherw-" he sees the bums
<Wrong_Way>: "IS THIS WHERE THE BOXING MATCH IS? ARE WE LATE?"
<Wrong_Way>: It appears to be the guys you replaced this evening.
<Wrong_Way>: They smell like weed.
Skyler looks over at Greene

<Wrong_Way>: "Dude we should've gone to 7-11 before we got here." says one of them to the other.
<Greene>: "Nah, go get changed"
<Wrong_Way>: "Oh really? Sweeeet."
<Wrong_Way>: The two race inside and the police cars finally pull up at the abandoned building
<Wrong_Way>: Two policemen get out and tackle the stoners.
<Greene>: "Ah, finally"
<Wrong_Way>: "YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT."
<Skyler>: "This is what justice feels like."
<Wrong_Way>: The police enforcement ignore Greene
<Greene>: "Not always"
<Wrong_Way>: One police officier looks at Skyler
<Wrong_Way>: "You the one who made the call?"
<Skyler>: "...Suuuuure."
<Wrong_Way>: "You're an upstanding citizen."
<Wrong_Way>: Skyler gets a lollipop
<Wrong_Way>: The rest of the law enforcement go inside to sweep the area.
Skyler takes the lollipop and begins eating
<Skyler>: "No, I like this justice."
Greene meanwhile managed to nab a few donuts from the cops' open cars because of tracking evasion. Comes back to Skyler, chewing
<Greene>: "Its good"
<Skyler>: "Okay, that's petty thievery."
<Greene>: "Yep"
Skyler takes a donut and begins eating
<Greene>: "Its justice though"
<Greene>: "Enjoy it"
<Wrong_Way>: The arrests make it on the morning news along with the new baby alligator born in the zoo. Greene and Skyler get a gold star on the S-men good mission bulletin board in the S-base.
<Wrong_Way>: The old guy is alright.
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry probably wants revenge
<Wrong_Way>: when he's done with physical therapy
