Attempted Demonstration

[23:30] Eryn Evanstere says, "Hey, Sanu."
[23:30] Sanu Ultovex says, "Hello."
[23:36] The young woman smiled at the undead. "First up, thanks for letting me accompany you to the caves a while back. Got myself a Knighthood out of it, so I'm grateful to you for it." She seemed rather pleased about that fact, actually -which she was, to be fair. It was what she considered likely her greatest achievement thus far.

"Secondly, there are a couple'a rumours that you've plans to venture into the volcano looking for something. I wanted to ask if you'd allow me to accompany you." She shrugged, seeming slightly nervous about the request. "I mean, given we worked well as a team, before and all."

[23:44] His fire crackled as he stood beside the statue, it was growing a brighter orange as if it was getting tempered. Eryn approached his sights and spoke, "So I've heard you've been knighted." He wouldn't say congratulations but the way he spoke the sentence would've implied it enough.

He wouldn't ask how the woman found out about the adventure they were going to take but he'd think on it, "You have potential." He speaks after a few seconds of his pondering. "Fires that will match mine perhaps, you can come along to see a spectacular inferno go down, perhaps take lessons from it?"

He tilts his head for a mere second, "Yes, that will be good for you. You can come, speak to Aldrah that you'll be accompanying us unless I will."

[23:49] Alice says, "Oh no, he's shivering."
[23:49] Alice says, "We should get Sors quick."
[23:50] Declan says, "No...no need."
[23:50] Artaghh says, "Evenin' my son."
[23:50] The young woman grinned, nodding at the undead man's words. "I don't know about matching your flame, but I'm certainly doing my best to put a spin on it. Look." She lifted her hand, palm facing upwards, and summoned a flame above it. A look of concentration came over her, and after about a full minute of focusing the orange fire shrunk and turned bright blue, giving off the exact same amount of heat, but far more concentrated. It lasted about thirty seconds before flickering back to orange and then away fully, Eryn frowning as it did.

"Its still a work in progress." A moment later, she glanced over at Declan, raising an eyebrow having overheard the conversation. "I'm a cosmic mage!" she called over to him, wanting to get that in there before she turned her attention back to Sanu.

[00:00] The display of magic was shown, his eyes stared to the flame, it was bright and staring at something like that was probably not a good idea but the undead didn't seem to mind.

Slowly the flame shrinks and shifts to a brilliant blue colour, he saw that colour in the fires in the past within the cave, "Concentrated, smaller, you could build more of a punch with it. A fireball the same size with the blue fires you produce would do much better then the fireball of another's." It was what she was going for most likely.

"Keep practicing. Take advantage of our journey, there will be danger." With that he sort of stares past her and to the water, not staring at her anymore, perhaps he lost interest in talking or it was just the fact he thought it was done with.

[00:03] Alice says, "Go look for some food, Declan. "
[00:04] Eryn took the semi-praise, nodding cheerfully. "That's the plan! If I can figure out how to maintain the fire permanently, I'm gonna be able to burn the shit outta things! Well, more than I already can." She gave a shrug, realising as she did she may have sounded....slightly enthusiastic about setting things on fire. Then again, she was a Drakanite from Dawn, so that was probably pretty standard all things considered.

"I look forward to this journey, then." she said, the idea of a bit of healthy danger something far more palatable to her now she was both a Knight and quite a bit stronger than she previously had been. Surely it would be an adventure! "I'll leave you be now." The Drakanite turned and looked for some other conversation to begin or what not, she wasn't quite certain yet.
