  2. doomed
  3. It is so nice to see an adult in the White House trying to get shit done, instead of an overgrown toddler who spends all his time tweeting his tantrums, golfing, and holding rallies for his cult.

  9. doomed: How do you feel about the Democrats failing to undo the filibuster, a necessary step in order to pass federal voting rights laws -- once again -- to block state-level GOP efforts to annihilate democracy?
  10. EonEcho
  11. The failure to remove that filibuster -- all but guaranteed -- means Joe Biden will likely be the last Democratic president in history.
  12. EonEcho
  13. Getting rid of Trump increased the chance of America making it from 0% to 2%.
  14. doomed
  15. I didn't expect them to undo the filibuster.
  16. EonEcho
  17. No scandals means you get the slightest of reprieves as the ship sinks.

  22. more like they're are the fans of TV reality star trump and would follow him back to the democratic party where trump came from
  23. EonEcho
  24. Ross: Trump is the cult leader of the Republican Party, correct?
  25. Ross
  26. seems so for now ... but the republican majority finally decides to disassociate trump from the party and trump goes, his tv fans willl follow him out
  27. EonEcho
  28. Ross: Trump is utterly beloved in the GOP and has the entire party by its neck, right?
  29. EonEcho
  30. Trump ain't ever leavin' the GOP. He is the GOP. Anybody who's not on board is out.
  31. Banquo has left ()
  32. Ross
  33. trump flipped from the republican party, to the democratic party, to the independent, and then ran as a republican .... let's say trump is unstable politically and socially
  34. Ross
  35. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump
  36. Ross
  37. trump probably paid someone to take the classes for him
  38. EonEcho
  39. Ross: He's a malignant narcissist who can only love himself. He's not capable of being part of anything other than himself.
  40. EonEcho
  41. That his con partially worked on Democrats in years prior is a testament to that party's corruption.
  42. Ross
  43. he is definitely mentally ill
  44. EonEcho
  45. That he found his forever home in the GOP could only ever occur there because of the intense failing of the right-wing mind and its complete and utter enthrallment to right-wing lies blasted 24/7 on all right-wing media.
  46. EonEcho
  47. He can never return to the Democratic Party, as there is a semblance of morality and accountability in that party, even though it's insufficient to run a nation.
  48. EonEcho
  49. Hell, in 2020 like a 1/3 of Democrats worked to get Republican Bloomberg elected as Democratic president -- obviously there is intense corruption at its highest levels.
  50. EonEcho
  51. (The corruption is due to capitalism.)
  52. Ross
  53. tim scott should step up to run
  54. EonEcho
  55. I don't anything about him, but it's extremely likely he's a good to Wall Street.
  56. Ross
  57. tim scott and ben crump
  58. EonEcho
  59. (Essentially all senior members of the Democratic Party work for Wall Street.)
  60. Ross
  61. the democrats are wealthy richy rich ppl too
  62. EonEcho
  63. "It's a big party, and you ain't in it." - George Carlin
  64. EonEcho
  65. Two things are true in this context: 1) America has no leftist party, 2) America has no party invested in the typical American.
  66. EonEcho
  67. Both of which are caused by capitalism.
  68. Ross
  69. your say is one vote every 4 years
  70. Ross
  71. democrats do what they can get the socialism in and going
  72. EonEcho
  73. The Democratic Party hates socialism.
  74. steve1984 has left ()
  75. EonEcho
  76. That there is any connection between the Democratic Party and socialism is a pernicious, anti-COVID-19 level lie from right-wing media.

  80. I know, 'cause I'm a socialist.
  81. EonEcho
  82. Both parties are parties of Wall Street.
  83. Ross
  84. depends on what you call socialism
  85. EonEcho
  86. I mean, all modern nation-states are a mixture of capitalism and socialism.
  87. EonEcho
  88. I'm taking that as a given and then evaluating the Democratic Party from that entrenched perspective.
  89. EonEcho
  90. From the status quo, the Democratic Party hates socialism.
  91. EonEcho
  92. The GOP has literally no values other than 1) Whites should always win everything, and 2) the rich people who run our party should win everything.
  93. EonEcho
  94. This doesn't really work that great with GOP voters, as almost all of them aren't rich.
  95. EonEcho
  96. The point of right-wing media writ large is to convert the class interests of the wealthy owners of the GOP to the class interests of the poor whites through emotional manipulation -- primarily outrage.
  97. EonEcho
  98. That's the whole ballgame.
  99. EonEcho
  100. From this stew of shit emerges the laughably false notion the Democratic Party is about socialism.
  101. Ross
  102. the main difference between the republicans and the democrats ... republican are for defense of the nation and fiscal responsibilty .... the democrats are tax & spend, without fiscal repsonibility
  103. EonEcho
  104. Ross: That is an anti-COVID-19 level lie.
  105. EonEcho
  106. It's wild you haven't updated your beliefs since the 1990s.
  107. EonEcho
  108. Are you interested in what is actually true?
  109. EonEcho
  110. If not, I'll forgo the game where I give the facts and you pretend to care and we pretend to debate it.
  111. Ross
  112. well, EonEcho make sure you get your two shots of the vaccine ... if the virus really scares you .... got back for 2nds, maybe 3rd treatments
  113. EonEcho
  114. Sure.
  115. EonEcho
  116. I put Ross on block until 2025-01-20.
  117. EonEcho
  118. For the others: 1) data indicates the Democratic Party has been far more fiscally responsible than the GOP since at least 2000 with George W. Bush -- it's not remotely close.
  119. EonEcho
  120. 2) The greatest attack on the republic in its history was on 2021-01-06, with the attempted murder of 50% of Congress and the removal of our democracy to be replaced by the Trump Cult. This was participated by the GOP.
  121. EonEcho
  122. The GOP is the greatest threat to national security in the history of the republic. Most of its leaders should be imprisoned or killed for their treason.
  123. EonEcho
  124. 68% of Republicans in the House voted to destroy democracy AFTER the attempted coup-d'etat on 2021-01-06.
  125. EonEcho
  126. The GOP has no moral authority for the rest of its existence for this behavior.
  127. EonEcho
  128. So, if you're for defense and fiscal responsibility, the Democratic Party is the clear choice.
  129. EonEcho
  130. However, both parties are completely rotted and captured by oligarchs and couldn't care less about your interests.
  131. EonEcho
  132. I updated Ross's block to 2041-01-20.
  133. EonEcho
  134. If you get COVID-19 wrong, then you're not valuable on any topic.
  135. EonEcho
  136. As of today, America has lost about 2x WW2 deaths due to COVID-19, according to a recent study of the true number of deaths.
  137. 16:35 EonEcho
  138. This is in about 14 months v. 44 months of WW2.
  139. EonEcho
  140. So, COVID-19 killed Americans at ~6x the rate of WW2.
  141. EonEcho
  142. And for this, Ross the 'Christian', expresses disdain.
  143. EonEcho
  144. And by doing so, of course, once again, brings complete and utter shame on everything Christ.
