Dante

Ruler's real name is Dante Alighieri, or most commonly known as just Dante, an Italian Writer, Poet and Politician of the late Middle Ages and his Divine Comedy, originally called Comedia, is widely considered the greatest literary work composed in the Italian language and a masterpiece of world literature. It has also been referred as the best poem of the middle ages.
Dante is a living paradox, because he is at the same time an influential man while living, but also a major character in his Magnum Opus, one of the greatest adventures epic adventures of the medieval times, the tales of a man as he journeys through the fictional depictions of hell, purgatory and paradise. The most famous of the three, Inferno, has shaped how the western culture visions hell in all it's glorious savagery. His adventure was an act of self punishment and a way to repent for his sins in life so he could find the love of his life, Beatrice, in heaven as she had died years prior to the beginning of the book. At the end of the book he finds himself standing beneath the Triune God and in a flash of understanding that he cannot express, Dante finally understands the mystery of Christ's divinity and humanity, and his soul becomes aligned with God's love.
