  40. This team has undergone more revisions than any other type. All teams had Endure/Reversal Blaziken as the 3rd Pokemon and a major weakness to Quick Claw. The previous teams were:
  41. 1.0 -- Offensive Entei/Moltres/Blaziken. Not a bad team, but movesets and strategy were unrefined, and only PP stalling was consistent.
  42. 2.0 -- Sunnybeaming Houndoom lead with Salac Berry. Best team to counter fast Starmies, but major weakness to Rock/Grounds.
  43. 3.0 -- Defensive Calm Mind Entei with Flamethrower/HP Grass + SubPetaya Charizard instead of Moltres. Good against weak Waters, bad against many other Pokemon. Also too slow for a speedrun.
  44. 4.0 -- SubPetaya Typhlosion with hybrid Moltres (half offense, half PP stalling). Died too often in testing and wasn't especially fast.
  45. 5.0 -- Offensive Calm Mind Entei with hybrid Moltres. This team was basically an improved 1.0, but it struggled to clear the early rounds quickly and required PP stalling in many late rounds.
  46. 6.0 -- Same as 5.0, but with offensive Houndoom lead. Better for late rounds thanks to Houndoom's dominance against Psychics, but 25% likely to die to Anabel 2. Also still too slow in the early rounds since Houndoom often had to use Substitute to avoid dying or getting statused.
  47. 7.0 -- Same as the team below, but with Thunderpunch on Charizard, which it doesn't learn until Gen 4.
  48.
  49. Notes on this team (7.1):
  50. - Charizard leads all rounds to speed things up. Lum Berry protects against a variety of slow statuses, and Fire Blast gives it more power than previous leads, netting many OHKOs and 2HKOs that Flamethrower can't get. Fire Blast's accuracy would be a problem, except...
  51. - Entei sweeps most teams by PP stalling and setting up Calm Minds. Unlike previous Enteis, this one has a +Speed nature, allowing to outspeed the majority of fast Pokemon, and the Substitute/Protect combo that I previously gave to Moltres. Entei PP stalls more effectively than Moltres because of its higher Speed, slightly higher Defenses, and access to Calm Mind. I didn't want to use this Entei in the past because it basically only wins by PP stalling, which is very slow. However, with Lum Berry + Fire Blast Charizard as the lead, Entei is only used when necessary, so the team is still reasonably fast.
  52. - Blaziken's Naughty nature allows it to have more Sp. Atk, netting important OHKOs in Blaze such as Crobat. It also allows Blaziken to get OHKO'd by nearly every Surf, which makes the AI guaranteed to use it, thus setting up the Endure + Reversal combo with no risk.
  53. - This Blaziken runs more Speed EVs and fewer Sp. Atk EVs than previous teams. Blaziken rarely needs to use Overheat, and the extra Speed helps it outspeed dangerous Pokemon such as 21 IV Jolteon4.
  54. - Nearly every death this team takes will be a result of Quick Claw, since this item destroys Substitute/Protect PP stallers and EndRev sweepers. Unfortunately, since Quick Claw is a common item in the Tower, most runs will fall to it. Slowbro and Slowking are particularly dangerous.
  55. - Starmie3, Starmie5, and Starmie8 with 31 IV outspeed Entei and sweep the team unless Blaziken crits Reversal. Thankfully, you're unlikely to see one of these Pokemon.
