14.
15. REWARDS:
16. Liber Transvectio [SHIELD] (MAIN REQUESTED ITEM)
17. "Ex inferis adducere.
18.
19. Upon a lavish leatherbound tome stills the clandestine mystery of forbidden knowledge. Entangled in aged leather, mounded in an alien material that is warm to the touch lies the brilliance of serif font depicting the name of the tome in alluring golds. Nay an author's mar finds itself present, yet the contents itself pull upon handwritten notes.
20.
21. For the secrets of Riftmancy and its nuances is not the only aspect of what were detailed within. Sown from the being of the Void, a mad man's writings pull upon the strings of reality's fabric. One mad enough to call upon the powers of the eldritch beings far hidden within the multiverse's light, below the brimstone-clad landscapes of Hel, and to all devilish locales in-between. To summon those whom should never grace Eternia's soil. For in the hands of one as fervent enough to lay their hands upon this item finds the undetestable pull and influence of its secrets.
22.
23. For all good things come from uncovering the secrets beneath knowledge's eye. Will you push past its barrier?"
24. Boost: +2 agi, -50 rift reduction (+5 pow, +5 occult def, -5 holy def, -100 rift reduction)
25. [FORBIDDEN TOME]
26. [RIFTMANCY]
27.
28.
29. Pacta Virtuitis [SHIELD]
30. "Across the many layers of Hel's domain brings forth the aspect of contract binding unbeknownst to the waking world.
31.
32. A devil's hand breathes free the manipulations sought upon the unwitting. For in the binding laws of signatures and the underworld of deals unveils the hidden aspect of those that dare write away an exchange. Binding bodies to willing bidding, brushing forth upon the ethics of what should not, and all its feverish heat of concordant statements. All conscripted into flowered prose that would fool even the smartest of laymen.
33.
34. Deep study might bring free one interested enough to pursue such version of contract writing. Though the contracts perusable within the tome seems to function solely to demonic hands that coined its existence, a mere mortal mayhaps might find prospect into a weaker mimicry. To bend law to one's whims, yet never breaking what it stands for.
35.
36. Is that not a perfect deal?"
37. Boost: None (+5 mana, +2 ether def, -5 occult def)
38. [FORBIDDEN TOME]
39. [DEMON PACTING]
40.
41.
42. Manuscript of Gluttony [SHIELD]
43. "From the deepest roots of the void, there lingers the unquenching hunger that bequeaths a being so lost from reality, all known passages depicting it ceases to exist.
44.
45. With this being the only item that documents its presence. Even in the vaguest sense.
46.
47. One whom seeks to consume all light. An ever-going darkness must fall upon Eternia in its wake. For the massless blob of a being festers within the inky darkness. Where light opts to singe its form, blacks sought to assimilate and combine. Henceforth, the being simply titled as 'The Hunger' strives for nothing more than to consume all in its darkness. To be one with it.
48.
49. Further readings, thought dangerous to one's sanity, gleams across the powers oft bequeathed to the followers that seek refuge in the chaos of its reign. The assimilation of power and mana with one's own body. The details that reveal the loss of oneself to assimilate with all the rest. Such unlocks the power of assimilating all the rest's power as well.
50.
51. Of course, that is assuming one is willing to take the plunge."
52. Boost: None (+5 vit, +2 ether def, +20 weight)
53. [FORBIDDEN TOME]
54. [FAMISHED]
55.
56.
57. Runes of Rapture [SHIELD]
58. "From the demonic creatures of Atrellya thrives an unspeakable evil in the contorted practice of runewriting.
59.
60. Detailed within this tome upholds the passage of runic tattoos oft accustomed by demon worshippers. Their defiled shapes and the details unfurled curses the very being of one to look almost demonic both in appearance and in power. Ascended speed, transcendent senses, even prolonged life. Though their body deteriorates, their magic thrives.
61.
62. Proper study can potentially upturn and reverse the very own accursed runes against its creators. If one is so willing to stoop to the levels of defiling a body and soul for the means of expanding its very power and capabilities. For immense strength of this caliber would surely carry a cost."
63. Boost: None (-10 vit, +5 mana, +5 pow, +5 agi)
64. [FORBIDDEN TOME]
65. [DEMONIC BINDING]
66.
67.
68. EXTRA DEV ITEMS (Can be missed/not gained):
69.
70. Supplimentaries of Rigor Mortis [SHIELD]
71. "A ripped tome from an aspect tutoring the powers and capabilities of Fleshcrafting.
72.
73. Though the page itself teaches nothing of the Necromantic art, it does profess the learning runic sigils that ebbs between what is moral and what is not. To imbue the very being and essence of a person into a weapon. A sense of allowing one's blade to claim its user's form to transcend what is humanly possible.
74.
75. To render one's spirit into ruins, only to pick up the pieces as garbled materials in the forging of a weapon that would literally be formed through one's self. A forbidden art, yet a highly sought after one to the most depraved of blacksmiths.
76. Boost: None
77. [RESEARCH NOTES]
78.
79. Festering Silverfish [SHIELD]
80. "Across a collection of tomes, an ivory nest lingers within; feeding upon cursed knowledge. For better or for worse, there lies the squirming creatures of silverfish before a consumed page. Long had they lost the formalities of their once insect-like being, now garnering a long rotten new visage.
81.
82. Skin as sickly as bone rots the miniscule essence that makes it look more akin to maggot than of what it once was. Its appendages long had trained itself from the absorption of the contents it had consumed, now able to reap and feast upon metal and flesh, not just parchment and wood. Deeper study would even denote the hungry creatures' susceptibility to consume mana itself.
83.
84. Such a creature is best staved from all things biological and cherished. For even the slightest modicum of exposure might render such a thing as their next meal."
85. Boost: None
86. [DEV ITEM]
87. [LIBER TRANSVECTIO]
88.
89. Soulsteel x1
90. An RPL boost to 200 in exchange of perming someone else in their party.
91.
92. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
93.
94. ACT 1: MAIN HALL
95. Set scene: large bookshelves, taller than skyscrapers; winding labyrinthine halls; flying angelic beings (they are not angels) that seem to patrol. The old man NPC in the beginning will tell them to be wary of temptations to power. Do not let oneself be subjected to its allure lest they wish to fall from grace.
96.
97. The group will be provided three different paths ahead: left path path leads to a shorter dead end with a single tome with a lectern, center path leads to a winding path ahead that seems to open into a large central sitting area with study tables, the right path leads to what looks to hold fallen bookshelves and large stacks of books.
98.
99. LEFT PATH
100. There is nothing much here. There only sits a single book on a lectern, closed. Its cover is long burnt to a crisp, almost making it barely noticeable of what it once was. Those that touch it will get a telepathic message from the book. It asks to be read and offers its knowledge to those that seek it. It will lie and will make use of everything that the players verbally mention while in its vicinity.
101.
102. When read, whoever reads it will need to roll. The reader will be raised to RPL 200 and whoever they roll will get an unhealable -5 perm.
103.
104. PERM: Soulbound Severance
105. DESC: You find yourself weaker. An aspect of power that had once flowed freely from you is now gone. And yet, you do not sense that had been completely eradicated. No, it lives on in another. Whilst you fall from grace, another thrives from your misery.

CHARACTER NAME flourishes as your power now flows in them. At your expense, they have become stronger; much stronger. Stronger thank you'll ever be.

And you, you are left merely as their footstool.
106.
107. After reading, the tome burns into a crisp, disappearing in hellfire before anyone else could read it.
108.
109. CENTRAL PATH
110. Within the central path lies rows upon rows of study tables, each one stacked to the brim with tomes. Upon some of the tables sits hooded figures, each one in the midst of writing down multitudes of lost knowledge. Any form of interactions with them will be met with silence, yet disturbing their work will call upon the collective spirits of them and attacks.
111.
112. ASPECTS OF SECRETS: Energy, Occult
113.
114. Upon their defeat would the wardens that fly above the bookshelves be alerted. They will not be direct enemies immediately, but they will begin scouring the space in higher alertness.
115.
116. Further ahead would ladders seem to bring the group higher into ramparts that run across the upper part of the bookshelves.
117.
118. RIGHT PATH
119. Within this path, dilapidated bookshelves act as rubble whilst ruined books are scattered amidst the location. The group must be wary of what is ahead, yet they would soon find themselves cornered in a dead end, with only a ladder leading upward being their only path ahead (this leads to the ramparts). Here sits a singular tome that seems opened. The title being "Of Maggots and Men" as its contents seem prolonged and wordy.
120.
121. In the distance would silverfish then begin to descend from the ruined bookshelves. They will block the path out as more seems to descent from the peaks of the dead end they find themselves in. Of course, the group can fight, yet if they read the tome, there would be a puzzle within that can potentially banish these creatures.
122.
123. "Let thy being be wary of maggots,
124. For exposure to their maw begets an end.
125. Such sends men to their casket,
126. Ruination would then descend.
127.
128. It gnaws at all that moves,
129. Festers and feasts upon being.
130. Run! Flee from thy hordes,
131. One's death is what thy foreseeing.
132.
133. Lest one harbors the aspect of passion,
134. One to suppress the infestation at hand.
135. Let it consume the marching carrion,
136. End its existence from this land.
137.
138. For what one seeks thrives from the wind,
139. Left to thirve, lest drowned.
140. To its creator; it, too, is unkind.
141. Yet when exposed, safety is found.
142.
143.
144. ACT 2: BOOKSHELF RAMPARTS
145.
146. False Angels Attacks: Occult, Cosmic, Energy
147.
148. ACT 3: ARCANIST'S QUARTERS
149.
150. Main door puzzle with runes.
151.
152. Old man reveals itself to be the main arcanist of the library. Offers the group a chance to further expound on their power at the cost of pacting their soul to the contents of the tome they have. If they agree, the tome gets stats (or better stats). old man will keep insisting and if they keep denying, will attack the group.
153.
154. Occult, Energy, Time
