- Acceptable Content for Upload
- All content submitted for upload to the XYZ co. website must conform to the following standards:
- • Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- • Meets required style guidelines as laid out in this document.
- • No racist, sexist, politically incorrect, insensitive or otherwise offensive content.
- • No adult material.
- • Does not infringe on any copyrights not held by XYZ co.
- • Any images containing people or their likenesses have relevant releases.
- • Follows patterns as laid out in content templates. Template locations are available in the ‘File Locations’ section of this guide.
- • Signed off by relevant key staff members as laid out in this document.
- Weekly Uploads
- The following content will be uploaded automatically each week:
- • Position Vacancies
- • Weekly Specials
- • Company News
- Any additional content to be uploaded must be placed into its originating department’s processing folder (as outlined in ‘File Locations’ in this document).
- After this is complete a ‘Unique Upload Request’ form (Appendix 1 of this document) must be filled out and emailed to the Network Administrator for processing.
- All unique uploads will be processed as received. Any requests received after 2pm Friday will not be processed into the following week’s upload.
- Key Staff Members
- A full and current list of key staff members can be found on the company intranet.
- To access this list:
- • Log into the XYZ co. intranet as described in the XYC co. Company Handbook.
- • In the left menu pane, click ‘Staff’.
- • At the top of the page, click ‘Staff Contact Listing’.
- Server Permissions
- Department Team Leaders are the only staff with permission to submit files to network drives for upload. Any uploads must be submitted via your Team Leader.
- Only those on the Network Administration team have permission to upload files directly to the company web server.
- Archiving & Backup
- All site content, as with all content on our servers is backed up daily. Weekly off-site backups are also performed by the Network Administration Team.
- Any data stored locally on terminals is not backed up.
