  2. **Chapter 10, The Second Rebirth,**

  7. After five hundred years, society is finally starting to turn its wheels again and make progress. Things are starting to go back to normal.

  9. The attack had scrambled the world's weather and sea, causing an increase of whirlpools, earthquakes, tsunamis, and natural disasters. Clouds became dense, and the earth that was flung into the air by the crater collected on these clouds and became the Sky Islands.
  10.  
  11. Due to the ***Near Extinction*** killing 80% of the human population, the event itself faded into nothing more than a legend. People knew not of what once was, but only what they have. Pangaea became nothing more than a distant memory to the few that actually survived the event. Instead, the world was now split into Seven Seas.

  14. **Chapter 11, The Arcane Government,**
  15. --------------------------
  16. **circa. Year 1800**
  17. --------------------------

  19. Many of the greatest wizards of our time from back when the islands were formed as one came together to form a worldwide governing force called the **Arcane Government**.
  20.  
  21. This new government would rule over the Seven Seas, establishing law & order and punishing those who did not abide by a set of rules established by it's leadership.

  23. Despite their far reaching and vast power, there were still many who opposed them. Thrill seekers, they called them; Pirates. Many crews were formed, and many battles broke out. It was a new world; A world of **The Arcane Government** VS. **The Pirates**.

  26. **Chapter 12, Two Sides of the Same Coin,**
  27. --------------------------
  28. **circa. Year 1854**
  29. --------------------------
  30. --------------------------
  31. **The Return of the War Phoenix**
  32.

  34. The War Phoenix, known as "*Theos the War Phoenix*", now sails the many seas as a peacekeeper of sorts. He is highly sought after by the Arcane Government as a possible symbol of power, but any time they offer him to join he declines, stating that he does not agree with their morals.

  36. While not directly opposing the Arcane Government, they have a strenuous relationship at best and if the Arcane Government steps out of line or does something Theos does not agree with, he will intervene.
  37.  
  38. Theos' new goal is to find the Wizard that commited this atrocity to the world and kill him, himself. Even if it costs him his life.

  40. **The Return of the Dark Wizard**
  41.  
  42. --------------------------
  43. The Dark Wizard, known as "*Durza the Dark Wizard*", has been building a massive army using the corpses he made during the ***Near Extinction***. After using up all of his magic and curses, for the past eight hundred years he has been obtaining curses, magic, and mutations slowly but steadily.

  45. Consumed by power, he left his physical body behind, travelling as an immortal dark spirit with a hood & robes. Using his powers, he can sink ships, instantaneously repair them and teleport his undead men onto them. He has a considerable fleet of stolen ships, possibly even greater than the Arcane Government. These ships, being repaired by Durza's magic, are unsinkable, making them particularly dangerous.

  47. Durza has an immense hatred for the Arcane Government as they established rule where there shouldn't be any, in his eyes. He aims to demolish their leaders one by one.

  50. **Chapter 13, Arcane Adventures,**
  51. --------------------------
  52. **circa. Year 1854**
  53. --------------------------
  54. --------------------------
  55. An Arcane Government Admiral, Argestes, gets in a heated naval battle with one of the commanders of the One Shot Pirates, the strongest and largest pirate group in the sea.
  56.  
  57. Argestes, being one of the original founders of the Arcane Government, used his Wind and Gravity magic mastery to create a massive tornado that caused chaos nearby. It flung the enemy ship into the sky, eventually crashing into a Sky Island, even hitting Theos' ship, causing it to crash into Newground Island, killing everyone on board but him.

  59. This is where the story of **Arcane Adventure** begins.
  60.  
  61. Theos ends up meeting a strange fellow on the island, one who forgot their memory entirely. **Aegeus** was his name. The island was filled with crazed mages who had washed up on the island, but he seemed to be the only sane person there.
  62.  
  63. Feeling that he might be of use later, he offered him a boat to get back to civilization after seeing his unnaturally skilled use of magic.
