Hearing two new voices, Yogiri turned to look. A man and woman wearing gray clothes were looking over one of the Executors. One person had a tall and thin figure, a man with an evil look in his eyes. The other was a person with long hair, a woman who was beautiful to the extent she seemed to shine.

“Nah, this guy has an obligation to entertain me. First, I'll twist his hands and feet so he can’t move, then carefully —”

The man suddenly dropped dead. Having sensed killing intent emanating from him, Yogiri had immediately used his power.

“Huh?” The woman stared at the scene, astonished. Feeling something like killing intent coming from her too, Yogiri decided to kill her as well, but before he could, she raised her hands in the air.

“Wait, wait! Are you trying to kill me too?!”

“Yeah. I’m getting a bad feeling from you.”

“Seriously, wait! Please!”

The woman's unpleasant feeling suddenly disappeared. At the same time, the thing similar to brightness the woman was wrapped in vanished. Yogiri decided he didn’t have to kill her after all.

“I guess it's not effective on children...”

“What did you do?”

“Both me and that guy have special abilities, I guess you could say. You’re the same, right?”

“Probably.” Yogiri understood that he was different from other humans.

“His ability is telekinesis.” She dropped her hands, pointing at the man. “He’s the worst, taking pleasure in killing people by twisting them apart. And my ability is to be the most beautiful person in the world.”

“Is that a power?”

“Isn’t it? I’m so beautiful that no one would ever attack me...although it doesn’t seem to work on you.”

She could charm people regardless of their sex, which let her guide situations to her advantage indirectly, she added.

「いい や、 こいつ には 俺 を 楽しま せる 義務 が ある。 まずは 手足 を ねじっ て 動け なく し てから、 じっくり と ─ ─」 　 そこ まで 言っ て、 男 は ば たり と 倒れ た。 殺気 を 感じ た 夜霧 が 力 を 放っ た の だ。 「え？」 　 女 が きょとん と し た 顔 に なっ た。 　 夜霧 は 女 からも 殺気 らしき もの を 感じ て い た。 なら ば 殺そ う と 注目 する と、 女 は 両手 を 挙げ た。 「ちょっと 待っ て！ 　 もしかして、 あなた、 私 を 殺そ う と し てる!?」 「うん。 お 姉さん からは、 嫌 な 感じ が する」 「だっ たら 本当に ちょっと 待っ て！」すると、 女 の 嫌 な 気配 が 急 に なくなっ て いっ た。 同時に、 女 が まとっ て い た 輝き の よう な もの も 消え て なくなっ て いる。 　 これ なら ば、 わざわざ 殺さ なく ても いい と 夜霧 は 判断 し た。 「あー、 子供 が 相手 だ と 効か ない のかな……」 「何 を し た の？」 「こいつ も、 私 も、 超能力 者？ 　 みたい な 奴 なのよ。 君 も そう なのかな？」 「たぶん」 　 夜霧 も 自分 が 普通 の 人間 とは 異なっ て いる 自覚 は あっ た。 「こいつ はね、 念 動力 を 使う の。 それで 人間 を ねじり 殺す のが 趣味 っていう 最悪 な 奴 なの」 　 女 は 挙げ て い た 手 を 下ろし、 倒れ た 男 を 指 差し た。 「で、 私 は、 世界一 美しい っていう 能力 なの」 「それ は、 能力 なの？」 「なん じゃ ない？ 　 美し すぎ て 誰 も 攻撃 する 気 に なれ ない っていう 力 な ん だ けど…… 君 には 通じ ない 気 が し た から」 　 男女 問わ ず 相手 を 魅了 し、 それとなく 自分 に 有利 な 状況 に 誘導 できる 能力 だ と、 女 は 補足 し た。
