Chaejin and her family always lived in Korea. She was always really close with her brother. She got really good at English because she was a foreign exchange student in America for two years of school. Both her parents put her into piano lessons to keep her busy when they couldn't spend time with her. Needless to say Chaejin became a pretty independent person.
