I think Identity Politics in the West today are a method being employed by Progressives to trap minorities into voting coalitions based on a parasitic relationship to Whites and White Men in particular

1. Freedom of Speech. All Liberals should support it even if they dislike the content
2. Freedom of Association. Otherwise you are asking the government to adjudicate personal interactions
3. Freedom of Thought. Surveillance interferes with this imo

I have. I think Paine is an overrated Anarchist pamphleteer though. His style of Liberalism was the French Revolution which almost killed him
