  1. "Remember?"
  2.
  3. "Before the job and the family you hate. Before everything got so hard."
  4.
  5. "Remember Saturday morning television? The smell of a new plastic toy? Remember being happy?"
  6.
  7. "Then you remember me."
  8.
  9. XEMNU
  10. The Living Titan
  11.
  12. Xemnu, the Living Titan. The Living Hulk. The ORIGINAL Hulk. White-Thing... Bob? Appearing before the Marvel universe had even truly started, before the Fantastic Four, before the angry green giant known as The Hulk was even created, back in 1960 in an issue of Journey into Mystery. In this issue, Xemnu escapes from a prison planet and crash lands on Earth, where he's found by an electrician and brought back to life. With his power restored, Xemnu proceeded to spread hypnotic rays across the planet, hypnotizing every being on Earth, and forcing them to build a spaceship so he could get home... unfortunately, said rocket would destroy Earth as soon as it launched.
  13.
  14. Fortunately for humankind, Xemnu left the electrician alive in order to boast about how unstoppable was - which ironically resulted in him being stopped, forced to circle the sun in his rocket ship forever. Or, at least, three months. Xemnu returned to Earth to get revenge, but ended up being tricked into disintegrating himself by the same electrician. Trapped in a formless gas state, Xemnu returned to his home planet... only to find that it had become long dead. So he returned to Earth with a new revenge scheme. Possessing the body of an astronaut, Xemnu gained a much smaller, whiter form.
  15.
  16. He took on the role of, all things, a children's television show host, where he hypnotized thousands of children using the new hit program, The Astro-Nuts. He planned to kidnap the children of Earth, so he could bring them back to his dead planet and repopulate it using a device that would transform them into more of his species. This was ultimately stopped by Dr. Strange, Namor, and, fittingly enough, The Hulk, who proved to be immune to his mental controls. However, he would try this same thing again, with less direct involvement, only to brush up against The Thing and Wonder Man, but he would run into The Hulk on two more occasions. He even fought She-Hulk a few times... though he ended up being considerably less threatening.
  17.
  18. From there, Xemnu appeared sporadically throughout the next three decades. Most of them ended up being cameos alongside other pre-Fantastic Four Silver Age monsters, like Fin Fang Foom or Goom, or other appearances that just fundamentally misunderstand the character, like his pretty baffling appearance in Deadpool Team-Up where he was much smaller, didn't talk, and seemed much dumber. He did show up as a threat in an issue of the second volume of Hulk (no "The"), but Xemnu very recently made a big comeback in the pages of Immortal Hulk.
  19.
  20. Granted a new body by Dario Aggar, the CEO of the Roxxon corporation (and also a minotaur, but that's not relevant), the two villains planned to destroy the Hulk using Xemnu's mental control powers. Xemnu played on the nostalgia of the people of Earth, rewriting the memories of everyone who saw him on TV. He even managed to do this to Bruce Banner and his current teammates (barring Rick Jones, but that's also another story). Only Banner's original Hulk form was immune, and after freeing Banner from the control and regaining their memories, they quickly defeated Xemnu (Aggar had already been taken out by Xemnu, because he was arrogant enough to hinge his entire plan on the trust of an alien that can rewrite memories).
  21.
  22. Xemnu has barely appeared in any media outside of the comics, only appearing in an episode of Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., a bad cartoon nobody really liked, which turned him into a wrestling parody and altered his design so much that it might as well not be the same character. Xemnu himself only has around fourteen issues where he appears as a major antagonist, the rest are cameos or references. So, why am I making a set for a character that's barely shown up and nobody really seems to care about?
  23.
  24. Because I remember Xemnu.
  25.
  26. Do you?
  27.
  28. Stats
  29. Weight - 135
  30. Walk Speed - 0.91
  31. Run Speed - 1.8
  32. Air Speed - 1.05
  33. Fall Speed - 1.5
  34.
  35. Xemnu uses his design from Immortal Hulk for his appearance in Smash. He is a fairly standard super heavyweight, being very heavy, while also having some shockingly good speed, though not the fastest of his super heavyweight brethren. His air speed is also betetr than most of them as well, as he uses his telepathic powers to levitate himself slightly.
  36.
  37. What's most notable about Xemnu is his size. As one might expect from someone that declares themself a titan, Xemnu is BIG. He's the largest character compared to the base roster, standing at Bowser's width, and being about as tall as Ridley when he stands up for his taunt. Xemnu stands proud, with only a slight hunch to him, with a distressingly calm stance and idle animation. This size is Xemnu's main downfall, as it makes him an incredibly easy target for any character with high enough speed... but why would they want to hurt Xemnu, their childhood hero?
  38.
  39. Their ONLY hero.
  40.
  41. "Hello."
  42.
  43. "Hello, boys and girls."
  44.
  45. "I'm in your head."
