  1. Here's what I know about the end of this play:
  2. - Rev and Eddie ultimately stay together at the end.
  3. - EITHER they escape the danger,
  4. - OR Rev's attachment to Eddie wins out
  5. - This is literally just a foster fail lmao
  6. - I want it to have a happy or bittersweet ending.
  7.
  8. - What if he really wants to get out of this stupid lifestyle and Eddie is the impetus to do so
  9. - Rev has done crimes (illegal street racing?) (burned down a precinct?)
  10. - SHOULD I STEAL FROM FUCKING YUGIOH 5DS????????
  11. - I like illegal street racing, I think it should have some sort of righteous bent to it
  12. - Sticking it to some bad dudes, motorcycle = freedom, someone told him that he couldn't, metaphor for him to take control of his life. Maybe he's somewhere from closed borders. Maybe he doesn't know where he's going either. When he picks up Eddie and comes to understand that Eddie is his kid now, he's like "we'll go someplace nice" or someplace he didn't think he deserved.
  13. - The apple juice is "where is there a safe place I can go?" or "Who is there a safe person?"
  14. - Maybe it goes like this:
  15. - Rev is being pursued, they have to fuck off
  16. - Evasive maneuvers
  17. - They get to the safe place. There's a break there where they discuss what the hell is going on.
  18. - Eddie wants to know what the Fuck Rev is doing
  19. - Rev wants to know what the Fuck is up with Eddie
  20. - They bond
  21. - Rev is like "we will take you to an orphanage"
  22. - This sucks
  23. - Looking for a place to go
  24. - The end, don't want to let each other go.
  25. - Do I want a clear antagonist?
  26. - It's like there's a rule that says you can't introduce them at the end. I would have to rewrite to maybe have them show up in the first scene.
  27. - In Howl's Moving Castle there's a war but no one really pays attention to why it's happening and who's causing it, maybe it can be more of an amorphous force like that.
  28. - Maybe it's justified for Rev to not want to tell Eddie because Eddie is a kid.
  29. - What are the bare minimum story beats? And then make those happen.
  30. - What moments are important enough? And just smooth over the rest.
