Covet: -Eli had his Rover backed up to the stairs by the dining room and was working on getting the wood measured and lined for where they needed to cut it. He'd already gotten the railings finished, and they were laying in the grass waiting for the ramp it's self. He had his stereo in his vehicle playing music .-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam stepped out of the house through the back door, looking down at the wood strewn about the area. He raised his voice, calling over the music to Eli. "Did you count how many boards you need of each size?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley jogged down the steps of the front porch and started towards Eli and Adam. "Hey!" She greeted. "I'm helping! What should I do? Can I saw shit?" She asked with a hint of excitement as she drew nearer to them, looking at the wood. "I wore this, I thought this was a building stuff outfit." Hayley looked down at her shorts then back at them. // Thaddeus came out of his bedroom with his vape and headed towards the kitchen, only sneaking a peek of Hayley's back when she was going out the door. He went towards the window in the living room. looking at the three of them.
Covet: Well I doubled what we needed for one side so we should have two of everything. I've got the measurements and lines on these ones ready to be cut and screwed together. -he said to Adam pointing to a stack of boards. He looked up at Hayley- Do you know how to use a circular saw?  I've got this one on loan from home. -He said pointing to it, then looked at her outfit- Uh, It should be fine, you might get sawdust everywhere though.

Alexithymiaa: -Adam looked over the materials, nodding his head. "We should use full size beams to run the length of the ramp from top to bottom. It should make it more stable." He stepped down the stairs, leaning over to look at the railing and then turned to look at Hayley. "I think it would be better if you manned the drill. Or held pieces together so we could screw it together..." He tried to say as gently as possible.-
Tsaaq: Her face brightened up at the mention of a saw. "No I've never used one but I can figure it out!" Hayley told Eli with confidence. She pouted at Adam then crossed her arms. "I guess I could hold some wood... And handle drill things." She said reluctantly. // Thaddeus furrowed his thick eyebrows and opened the front door, standing on the porch while staring at the group. "What are you guys doing?" He asked flatly.
Covet: That's kind of what I was thinking too, We could just screw it in to the top of the deck there, to reinforce it. -He said to Adam- Well if we're going to do that I'll get cutting these beams to the right angle, then you and Hayley can get them secured. -He pushed the saftey glasses that were on top of his head down, then heard Thad's question before he started with the saw- We're building a ramp. To make the house accessable for everyone.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam nodded at Eli's words to Thad, walking over to stand next to Eli. "Do you want me to cut them and you arrange? I'm not really sure how you measured it out."-
Tsaaq: Hayley bent over to look at the pieces of wood while pouting. "Starting to think I really should've taken shop in high school-" She started to say before hearing Thad's voice and not turning around. // "For who? Oh." Thaddeus said quickly before slowly coming down the steps. "Right, Professor X needs to be able to get here and all that." He sighed then very obviously checked Hayley out.
Covet: However, just remember safety first. I don't want anyone to lose and eye. -Eli said taking the glasses off his head, handing them over Adam. He chuckled at  Hayley's comment. -  Nothing we can't help teach you today.  -He looked over at Thad and gave him a look- For BLISS, yes. And anyone else that comes along who can't make it up the stairs. -He said clearing his throat as he watched Thad's attention on Hayley.-

Alexithymiaa: -Adam took the glasses from Eli, sliding them onto his face and lifting his eyes to look at Thad and then Hayley, biting the inside of his cheek and not saying shit because he's a pussy. He picked up the first piece of wood, turning the saw on and sliding it at the spinning blade, cutting it clean across the marked line.-
Tsaaq: “Teach me everything so I can teach my children one day.” Hayley felt the stare but pretended to ignore it. “Yeah, she should be able to get out of the house like anybody else.” She chimed in, still bending over. Hayley furrowed her eyebrows and turned to look at Thad, looking uncomfortable as she picked up the power drill aimlessly. // He pressed his pierced lips tightly together, listening to Eli but not looking away from DAT ASS. He turned his head slightly once the other male cleared his throat. “Yeah, that’s PC, that’s progressive. I can dig it.” He said lackadaisically before shifting his gaze once more. “You guys are the last people I’d expect to be doing this stuff though… Maybe Adam.” He commented, sounding extra pissed mentioning Adam’s name.
Covet: I'll try to teach you as much as possible. -He said to her, rolling his eyes at Thad. Looking over to see that Adam had the board finished, he went to grab it and the screws and the container of screw goo. He tried to position himself in a way that blocked his view of Hayely-  I've done lots of carpentry stuff, The tables in the comic shop, I compeletly re-surfaced myself. -Eli said with a shrug then looked at Hayley.- Okay we're going to need three screws to anchor this to the deck, and then three in the posts that connect to the original stairs. Let me mark where they are going to go. -Eli said putting the board on the stairs, making sure it was straight and made 3 x's with a pencil on the board-  And you need to put this stuff on the screws, it helps seal and keep them in place longer. -He took the drill from her to show her how to do the first one, then handed it back- I'll let you do the other two, will I make the next set of marks farther down.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam grabbed for the next piece of wood, lifting his eyes to Thaddeus. "That's a little judgemental, don't you think?" He turned the saw back on, running the wood underneath the blade to spit it.-
Tsaaq: Hayley nodded her head and picked up a screw then the drill, following his instructions in putting the screw goo on. "Okay... Like this?" She asked cautiously before repeating his task then looking to Eli for approval. She looked at Thad with a glare. "Don't you have twelve year olds to bother on xbox?" Hayley sassed. // He scoffed a little angrily at Eli, walking around to try and get a better view once more. "What?" He asked Adam, not listening because he was a pervert. He grumbled at Hayley. "For your information I'm not playing any games today. I have to open at my second job tomorrow morning..." Thaddeus said.
Covet: What does that have to do with today? -Eli said raising an eyebrow at Thad- He looked over at Hayley- Yeah, then just line it up with the mark and make sure the drill is straight, otherwise it'll go in crooked and the head won't sit flush with the wood. -He explained to her, then looked back at Adam-  We've got to get the cross beams cut after the main beams, there should be three.
Alexithymiaa: "Nothing.." He mumbled in response to Thaddeus, listening to Eli and grabbing the next piece of wood to slide through the saw. "I'm working on that now."-
Tsaaq: “Uhhhhh, okay.” Hayley replied, pretending to understand what Eli was explaining, straightening the drill. She glanced over to Adam, noticing his expression and tried to flash him a smile. “Good job everybody!” She waved her free hand around a little. // He nodded at Adam in acceptance. He rolled his eyes. “I can’t be up all night gaming if I have to get up at like five to get to the mall and open up the store.” Thaddeus answered Eli then went silent, observing a moment. He went to stand near Hayley and Eli, lowering his body a little. “When you’re done here I have something that has something to with you head and some wood. FYI.” Thad tried to tell her quietly before stepping back, going back to his faux interest in the project.

Covet: -Eli looked up when he heard Thad, and cleared his throat at him again- I'm pretty sure Hayley's going to be busy with this for a good while because she wants to learn, So if you need to get up early you should probably go to bed here soon. We'll try not to keep you up. -Eli said, then looked at Adam- Okay cool I'll get them placed once we get the other board secured to the deck- He said while doing that, as Hayley worked on getting the screws in.-
Alexithymiaa: -He lifted his head at the sounds of the voices, letting the saw and the noise kill off. "Huh?" Walking the boards over to Eli and Hayley, he set them down in the grass. "Sorry, I didn't hear you."-
Tsaaq: Hayley furrowed her eyebrows and lowered her head, looking upset. "Nothing." She told Adam and tried to pretend to be focused on the nails and the power drill. // "Listen man, mind your business okay?" Thaddeus chose not to say loudly. "She can wake me up a little for that kind of think. Doing it is like drinking coffee. It peps you up. Stop being a cockblock." He scoffed.
Covet: -Eli looked at Hayley seeing that she was upset by his actions, and stood up- You're making her uncomfortable, and your actions aren't wanted, Man. Back off and leave her alone. I'm being a creep block, not a cock block. -Eli said then looked over at Adam- I was just saying we'll get those placed next after I get this other board secured to the deck....-he said to Adam, trying to give Thad any more attention than necessary.-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam furrowed his brows, hearing the end of Thad's statement and then Eli's response. "Is... everything okay?" He dropped his eyes to look down at Hayley because she was honestly the concern since Eli didnt have a problem giving it back to him.-
Tsaaq: She inhaled deeply and continued to drill. "Thaddeus go away before I fuck you up." Hayley tried to sound threatening but seemed more wary than anything. "It's fine." She told Adam, forcing a smile on her lips. // He shook his head angrily. "Eli, shut up." He said quickly. "Of course she wants it. She's the one who-" Thad started to say then scoffed. "You don't even know what flirting sounds like." He grumbled. "Are you trying to act all tough because your little not-boyfriend is here? Cause I've been meaning to mention that too, while we're here." He said sternly to Hayley.
Covet: She just told you to go away. I don't think she wants anything you have to offer right now. -Eli said crossing his arms- No means no, last time I checked. -He said flatly, then looked over at Adam and Hayley.-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam just stared at Thad because he didnt know what the fuck to say, slowly holding his hand out to Hayley. "Why don't you come over here and I'l show you how the saw works."-

She muttered with a frown. // Thaddeus furrowed his thick eyebrows at Eli. "No means no? You're joking right? She's fucked half of the school." Thad said, sounding unamused. His face fell once she spoke and he glared hard at her. "Don't ever say I'm a mistake! You were the one who started it. None of this would've happened if you would just shut up and be with me instead of being a whore, don't walk away-" He ranted then groaned, heading back towards the house.
Covet: So that's just supposed to make what you're doing to her okay? Because she's done it before. It's that thought right there that's ruining this town and causing the issues we have. You are part of the problem, Thaddeus. -Eli said firmly- You have no claim over her, and no right to call her any of those things. I'm glad she's not with you, because she deserves better, than some manipulative jack ass, who could care less about her feelings. Go back inside and be your disgusting miserable self elsewhere. -He turned back to Hayley and sighed- Your welcome. You shouldnt' have to put up with that, in the place where you live.

You pull the saw down like this which activates the blade and you push it down through the wood and release it once you feel no pressure. You don't want to keep the blade running for longer than necessary because that's how accidents happen. Do you want to try a piece?"-
Tsaaq: "It's fine Eli I could uh. I could kick his ass." She said unconvincingly. Hayley nodded her head, trying to ignore the tall bastard as well. She watched Adam with the saw and the piece of wood. Hayley nodded her head and glanced at him. "Okay, yeah sure. Let me try-" She answered, still half listening to the shouting match. // Thaddeus stopped in his tracks as he looked over at Eli and chuckled incredulously. "I do have claim over her, actually. So." He started to say with a shrug. "You'd never get our relationship. It's complex." Thad began to grumble before actually looking pissed off. "I'm not disgusting or miserable. I'm fine. I'm not the one who miscarried in the bathroom upstairs like a fucking cunt. I'm not the one who cries almost every time she takes a shower, YEAH I CAN HEAR YOU WHEN YOU DO THAT SHIT." Thaddeus shouted and the neighbors could probably hear.
Covet: -Eli groaned and looked at Adam and Hayley- You shouldn't have to kick his ass, because he shouldn't be doing this to begin with. Alexithymiaa: -Hearing Thad's words, Adam shook his head. "You know what, why don't you go inside? We'll do this tomorrow. I promise." He took her by the shoulders, trying to usher her passed Thad and Eli toward the house to walk her up to her room, but bed because it's after 2 already.-
Tsaaq: Hayley heard Thad's words and lowered her head with shame. "I only-" She started to say but arguing probably wasn't worth it. She sighed and nodded her head at Adam. "Alright." She sighed as they went upstairs. // Thaddeus was unwavering when Eli shoved him, up until he punched him in the face. He touched his cheek a moment then glanced at Eli, chuckling. "Yeahhh..." He dragged out. "You just fucked up buddy. That doesn't work anymore. So all you're doing is pissing me off." Thad told him sternly. "And you're going to regret it. Keep trying to come into my business? Your crippled girlfriend won't need a wheelchair anymore. She'll need an iron lung. Think about your priorities asshole." Thaddeus told him before heading for the porch, watching Adam with Hayley and watching them angrily and went to his bedroom.
Covet: -Eli took a deep breath and listened to Thad's threats, not moving as he made his way into the house- Yeah, go after my defenseless girlfriend. That totally makes you a man. God forbid you take a direct approach. You touch a hair on her head and it'll be the last thing you do at this school. -He said to him as he walked off. Eli waited a long minute just watching the door taking deep breaths to steady his shakiness, until he went back to the ramp and started to pack things up, because obviously he wasn't staying here tonight.-
