<Charybdizs> I suppose I should mention

<Charybdizs> I had just watched the latest Game Theory Culture Shock
<Charybdizs> which was on dating games and the culture of japan that is so starving for love

<Charybdizs> we were talking and chatting for a long time
<Charybdizs> then Chaz said there was something he had wanted to do
<Charybdizs> he wanted to all take a while to just remain completely silent (like churches in services do this all the time but it's not the same), stop talking, and close our eyes for a while and listen to the still small voice (cause the holy spirit was one of the things we had been talking on)
<Charybdizs> then he said we could write down what we thought we heard
<Charybdizs> and compare it ot the bible
<Charybdizs> to check
<Charybdizs> well
<CoatRack> oh, that reminded me of something we talked on awhile back
<Charybdizs> I was like "eh I don't think I'll have much to write down"
<CoatRack> that I want to talk about
<Charybdizs> so I set my phone timer
<Charybdizs> for fifteen minutes
<Charybdizs> and we just went completely silent
<Charybdizs> and the holy spirit actually filled me
<Charybdizs> I was the only one in the room who got it there
<Charybdizs> but
<Charybdizs> it started slowly
<Charybdizs> I felt a strong urge to get on the floor
<Charybdizs> so I stretched out and was praying there, lying on my stomach
<Charybdizs> I was praying five things really
<Charybdizs> the acronym was T.R.U.S.T. but at the time I forgot what the letters stood for
<Charybdizs> and instead I ended up praying something along the lines of
<Charybdizs> Thank you (for blessings etc. etc.)
<Charybdizs> Reveal your revelations (to me)
<Charybdizs> Use me (as your vessel to spread life)
<Charybdizs> Save me (From all things evil and my own temptations)
<Charybdizs> and Teach me (how to really be effective in spreading love and truth)

<Charybdizs> I was lying there on my stomach
<Charybdizs> and I was REALLY comfortable
<Charybdizs> and then I felt like
<Charybdizs> "this isn't prostrate at all when I'm feeling super comfortable and strong"
<Charybdizs> and I felt like I should turn over and lie on my back
<Charybdizs> but I was like "ehhhhh that would feel really awkward and vulnerable"
<Charybdizs> but slowly
<Charybdizs> I inched a little over
<Charybdizs> adjusting
<Charybdizs> and like
<Charybdizs> every time I made a little bit of a turn
<Charybdizs> the next bit was right there
<Charybdizs> and finally I was lying on my back with my hands folded over my chest
<Charybdizs> and then I felt it
<Charybdizs> "move your hands"
<Charybdizs> and I did so and I felt entirely vulnerable and unsafe
<Charybdizs> it wasn't comfortable at all
<Charybdizs> but I was suddenly filled with trembling and awe
<Charybdizs> I don't know that I can properly narrate what I felt there again, but luckily I wrote it down immediately after
<Charybdizs> I was basically aroused entirely in the spirit and trembled as the bride of christ because that vulnerability of exposing your weakness to your lover is a scary thing

<Charybdizs> they were all like "oh my goodness Wesley what happened?"
<Charybdizs> we all laughed at the irony that I said I probably wasn't gonna get anything
<Charybdizs> and then was the only one who did

<Charybdizs> but I'm much more confident on them now
