thinking about shinji getting marked by three alphas at one time still because i am quite literally always on my bullshit. ✨

luvia and rin being unhappy with shinji’s blood pressure or apparent stress levels from a recent doctor’s visit and dropping in unannounced to sprinkle some judgement in shirou’s direction — never mind they all know shinji is a stubborn busybody, but shirou is an easy target. luvia decides they ought to take matters into their own hands if they want to be assured their child is being developed in a peaceful environment. so, without asking, she marks shinji. rin does quickly after as well, not because she doesn’t trust that shirou is doing his best, but because she’d never hear the end of it from luvia otherwise. admittedly, the sensation of marking an omega is such a rare one for them they do take some pleasure in drawing it out and teasing shinji — they nuzzle his face and lick at the marks on either side of his neck while kneading him affectionately and calling him cute. the euphoria of alpha chemicals in his veins and the protective aura around them is almost overwhelming, and shinji can’t help but drool a little, feeling floaty and complacent but still wanting shirou.

shirou, feeling his possessive instincts ramp up into overdrive gladly steps forward to mark shinji as well, making him cry out softly as if it was the last piece of the puzzle. his eyes glassy and distant, shinji hums as shirou nuzzles him and whispers affectionate compliments into his hair. rin and luvia are both satisfied and pleased with themselves, if not a little ruffled because they now all share a fond link with shinji that’s full of nothing but pure warmth and adoration. they all feel the same pull to protect him. it’s always been there, but making it chemical means that it’s an exciting and eerie tingle that travels down the spine and to the tips of the fingers. the urge to dote on him and glow with parental feelings isn’t one to be resisted!

shinji has been effectively made docile. it’s a bit of tough love, making someone so sharp witted and intelligent purposely into a dumb, complacent vegetable, but shinji just doesn’t know how to relax on his own. that’s why he drinks wine so often — and that currently isn’t an option. but at the very least, he’s comfortable. he’s happy and safe. lying boneless and satisfied, his voice is soft and slurs just slightly as he professes his love for shirou and “oneechans”. he’s always the drunkest at the beginning and that’s always the most fun part to witness.

the three of them agree to tend to their marks to keep him from winding up so tightly again. on their own the potency would last a week and several days combined, but with shero at his side and rin and luvia visiting regularly to tend to their marks, they could have shinji stress-free for double the time.
