—Personality: -Intelligent- Her main trait which benefits her role as the strategist/the ‘brains’ of the group. This was brought up by her love for reading, her curiosity and her ‘need to know’ nature. She’s quick-witted and takes every detail into account. She’s usually the one who gets them out of trouble and cleans up their mess.


-Caring- She cares deeply for the members and considers them as her family. She shows concern for the members and their well being especially if she senses that something is off. She tries her best to keep them all (and innocent civilians) safe in every plan she leads them into and sometimes purposely putting herself in harm’s way. She’s always willing to lend a listening ear to the other members problems.

-Tends to overthink- Due to the fact that she’s the strategist of the group, she tends to overthink in every plan whether small or big the thoughts are always on the back of her mind. She feels pressured because of her position but doesn’t tell the other members. She’s often worried which leads her to getting fidgety, a problem she has learn to control over the years and rarely lets slip because it could jeopardize the mission.

✧BURN BABY BURN

—Background : Minji comes from an orphanage never knowing her biological family and she doesn’t want to making it one of the few things that she isn’t curious about. She was adopted at the age of six where she was raised in an abusive household.


From there her tendency to overthink things and her panic attacks begin to manifest. She lived in fear on what would happen to her every time she comes back to the house she by far doesn’t call home and tries to be a ‘good’ daughter. Something she has learn to perfect during her years. She has anxiety every time someone touches her thinking that she has done something wrong.


Over the years, she makes a plan to escape. Something easier said than done. Her ‘father’ would constantly lock the house and set up an alarm if they tried to escape. They being Minji and her adopted little sister named Nari who was eight years old. Nari had gotten sick throughout the years and was in a weak state making the situation and their need to escape more dire due to her ‘father’ refusing to help her.


Through careful calculations and movements as well as familiarizing herself to her ‘father’s’ routine, she managed to break the locks and disable the alarm long enough for them to escape. They took a bus using the money that Minji had collected to the nearest hospital where she quickly admitted Nari into all the while reporting her ‘father’ to the police.


She spent a few weeks at the hospital with her sister with her being treated to her injuries that she has sustain as well. Her fear however refused to go away. She grew scared at the fact that same thing will happen and that she’ll be sent to the orphanage again. So one night, she came to her sister’s bedside, said her goodbyes and disappeared into the night. She convinced herself that she was doing the right thing.
And that’s how she found herself alone at fifteen.


She made herself untraceable and spent the next few years living in different cities. She found solace in libraries where she acquainted herself to all the knowledge she can find and the quiet atmosphere. She worked several odd jobs here and there before finally joining the gang.

✧LOOK AT ME NOW

—How did you join the gang: Belle found her.


During Minji’s life in the streets, her panic attacks were a recurring point in her life. She constantly gets worked up over what’s behind every corner and one day she suffered one of her worst ones yet.


She was walking back to the abandoned building that she was currently staying at from one of her jobs. The sun had long since set and the streets were empty aside from a few people. At some point it started raining relentlessly. She stuffed her hands into the pockets of her jacket that she got from a bundle with her hood up. Her footsteps rippling in growing puddles and taking her nearer to her desired destination.


One of the places that she had to pass by was a bar. It’s occupants usually favoring to sit inside where all the liquor was at. Today however she noticed three men, all big and clearly intoxicated, standing outside the bar despite the rain pouring down. They were letting out booming laughter and causing a rowdy scene. Minji was desperate for some shelter so she forced herself to walk around them, quickening her pace. Their chatter becoming more louder as she nears them and piercing her ears. She was almost pass them before a large hand grabbed her arm.

“Hey baby where you hurrying off too?”


Minji found herself victim to one of her nightmares come to life. The three men were surrounding her now, making obscene comments. She screamed as they towered over her. Her heart started pounding against her chest. Her breath becoming ragged. Her vision started to cloud.


“Why don’t you stay with us for awhile.”


She let out another scream, struggling against the man’s tightening grip. A hand trailed to her chest area. Tears formed in her eyes. With one last ditch effort, she kicked the man’s area as hard as she could making the grip on her arm loosen just enough for her to get away. She pushed her way through the two other men and broke into a sprint. Footsteps following quickly behind her.


There was no way in hell that she was gonna lead them to her place so she ran past the building. She ran until an apartment complex came into view almost slipping from the water gathered on the pavement. She burst through the front door, scaring the security guard in the process, and made her way to the stairwell. She climbed a flight of stairs before collapsing against the wall. Succumbing to the ache on her legs. She could hear the men being stopped by the guard but despite that her heart continued to race.


She curled into herself, placing her head onto her knees and wrapping her arms around herself. She started to rock back and forth. Her tears falling freely on her face leaving a salty taste in her mouth. Her sobs racked her chest. She was sweating profusely. Her breaths started getting shorter and suddenly she can’t breath. She can’t see. She can’t feel.


“Hey,” A voice said to her. Slow and calming. Barely above a whisper. Like a secret conversation only meant for them. “Can you a take a deep breath for me?”


She slowly averted her gaze to soft brown eyes. The girl kneeling in front of her wasn’t touching, a respectable distance between them. She barely realize she was shaking her head.

The girl told her to follow her breaths. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. That continued on for awhile until Minji could breathe normally again. A series of coughs followed. The girl gave her a comforting smile. Her eyes gleaming with content. She turned her head to the sound of the door opening. A short conversation took place between her and the guard before she ended it with “She’s with me.”


She heard footsteps before the sound of the door closing followed. The girl turned back to her and grinned. She gently took her hand and lead her to a standing position. She proceeded to lead her to her place introducing herself along the way. The girl held a warm aura around her.


Minji walked into her place. It had a homely feeling to it that made her feel tingly inside. The girl let go of her hand and told her where the bathroom was so she could freshen up. She looked like a mess as she sees herself in the mirror. Red faced, eyes puffy and snot dribbling down. It didn’t take long before a knock on the door sounded and the girl offered her some clothes. Minji felt grateful to get out of her wet and heavy ones.


That’s how she found herself sitting down on the couch in new clothes and a mug of hot chocolate in her hands with the girl talking animatedly to her. She didn’t seem to mind that she was barely speaking content on just listening to her. That continued on until late at night. She offered Minji to stay the night and she didn’t have the heart to refuse. It had been a long time since she slept on anything relatively comfortable and she was desperate enough to sleep on the couch. She gave her some pillows and a blanket for the night before bidding her goodnight. She found herself having a restful sleep that night in a long while.


She awoke to the smell of breakfast. She stood up hesitantly and walked to the kitchen. Standing awkwardly at the doorway. The girl smiled at her warmly and told her to sit at the table. The girl began to talk about random things up until serving them both breakfast. She mentioned that she had to go somewhere that day and that she was welcomed to stay as long as she liked and to anything in the fridge. Minji was wondering why someone would let a stranger stay in their house. The girl sure was a strange one but ended up staying nonetheless. Thinking back, she didn’t exactly know why she stayed that day.

The girl didn’t come back until night. She once again chatted to her with her barely speaking, talking about her day. She offered to let her stay the night again. This happened for the next night too, as well as the next and the next and the next. No matter what she did, she always found herself back there. Two weeks later, she was introduced to two of the girl’s friends apparently accepting her as part of her life.


She felt wanted more so when the girl asked her to move in with her. It was the best day of her life. It took awhile for her to open up to her and even more time to tell her about her past. The girl was accepting and took special interest in her wide knowledge of things. Months later, when she sat her down one day and asked if she wanted the join the gang, she didn’t hesitate to say “Yes.” And the rest as they say was history.

—Why did you join the gang?: Minji’s desire to feel wanted was almost like a drug. She found it as an opportunity to display her skills in spite of the fact that what they were doing was wrong. One by one the girls started to accept her as well and despite the chaotic mess that is their activities she found herself a home and a family. The gang was one of the best things that happened to her.

—Your role in the gang?: The strategist/’brains’ of the group. Pretty self explanatory.

—Your reason behind avenging Belle's death?: Seeing as it was Belle who was the first one to welcome her with open arms you can tell the rage and depression Minji felt when she died. She was angry and confused at herself for not putting the pieces together for not preventing the incident from happening. She feels responsible for the incident because she couldn’t save her like how she saved her all those years ago.

✧DON'T PLAY WITH ME BOY

—Love interest: Guard, Jung Hoseok

—How they met: She was sneaking out again. She carefully positioned the dummy in her bed and picked the lock on the door. After looking if the coast was clear and that the guard guarding on her floor was off somewhere else, she swiftly made her way down to the kitchens. Pressing up against walls, hiding behind large plants and at some point climbing above the doorway in order to avoid the wandering guards and installed security cameras.


Soon after the guard beneath her had walked away, oblivious to the roaming patient, she dropped to the ground silently before continuing her journey. It was clear that this wasn’t her first time sneaking around. After picking the lock to the kitchens and stepping onto the cold hard tiles, she walked to the fridge hidden in the back. She opened the door and her hands seized the apple that she had been eyeing at the whole day. Closing the door and moving to sit underneath the cold metal table, she hummed in delight at the sweet taste as she bit into the apple.


Midnight snacks had been a weakness and a habit to her for as long as she can remember. Occurring more frequently when her ‘father’ had sent her to her room with a few scraps of food. She would always gave in to the temptation when she could hear him snoring away on the living room couch and sneaked into the kitchen to grab some food sometimes taking extra if Nari was still hungry. She remembered how she was one of the few people in the gang who were in charge of food for the sole purpose to have multiple options for snacks in the middle of the night even having a stash under her bed so she didn’t have to move much. Belle had laughed when she first found out, ruffling her hair before going back to her own bed. Her smile slowly dropped at the memory, her eating becoming slow. She missed her.


She broke out of her reminiscing when she heard movement of the kitchens’ door being opened. She eyed the legs moving steadily toward her area and carefully slid out from under the table, apple bit harshly in her mouth. She thought that she was home free when she reached the door before the light from a flashlight aimed at her stopped in her tracks.


“I thought I said no midnight snacks.” The owner at the voice sounded stern but Minji could detect the amusement in their voice. She squint at the harsh light and took the apple in her hand before doing a surrender position.


“Can’t a girl have needs?” She remarked, smirking.


“Still doesn’t erase the fact that you shouldn’t be out at this time.” The voice retorted.


She scoffed. “Can you at least put the flashlight away, you’re hurting my corneas.”


There was a pause. The light was aimed away from her face but the guard still kept it on. Blinking to get her sight back, she took a look at her captor. Well as much as she can in the dark. He had a fit body and slender shoulders. Which she can appreciate because some of the guards here looked way out of shape to be considered officers of the law. He had a sharp jawline, endearing eyes and soft brown hair. Minji couldn’t stop the thought even if she could.

Interactions- be as detailed as possible

—Beginning: After persuading the guard, who was named Hoseok after a quick peek at his nametag, to at least let her finish her apple because it would be a waste he lets out a breath before letting her do so. As he lead her to her room once again, she tried to make friendly conversation just to annoy him. She gets away with a warning that night. That doesn’t stop her though and she continues to sneak out for her midnight snacks. It became sort of like a game to her to see how many times she can get away from him. It didn’t take long for her to realize that he was only around during the night shift. She was confused when she didn’t see him during the day but despite that she made the most out of their encounters. When Hoseok caught her the second time, this time with crackers in her hands, she remarked that she had one strike left when Hoseok debated to put a guard at her door. She can’t help toying with him. She looked forward to seeing him in her nightly adventures. She became extra careful around him after her second strike but not without leaving something to remind him that he failed to catch her every night. Things ranging from banana peels, squished juice boxes and crumbs.

—Middle: It was a surprise when Minji noticed that Hoseok switched to the day shift one day when she was arranging the books only to look up to see him being one of the guards in the library. She fought down a smile when she realized that she could look at his attractive face more from now on. But it also came with the problem that they had to be more discreet with their meetings in the library. She would flash a smile or a smirk at him every time she and Hoseok made eye contact. She even managed to get a conversation going sometimes when they were close to each other about nothing in particular. Of course she was warned by her members to keep a look out and that there were people in there that were closely monitoring them that wanted to stop them from breaking out. Minji instantly knew that Hoseok was one of them and told the others to be wary of him. She was mindful of him because of that but that didn’t stop her from initiating any form of interaction with him. That all came crashing down when he offered to keep her nightly adventures a secret and that he’ll bring food to her in the middle of the night as long as she provided information about her gang. She felt extremely disgusted at the fact that he used their friendly relationship against her. She became angry and hissed darkly at him “You can’t bribe me.” before storming off.

—End: Minji didn’t look at him anymore after that and stayed the hell away from him at all times. She should’ve known that he would pull something like this seeing as he was the most closest to her compared to her other members. She felt hurt that he tried to use her to get what he wants but then again she’s no better. She herself had been selfish. Selfish enough to leave her little sister alone all those years ago without anyone because she was thinking only of herself. Selfish enough to trick all those innocent people in order to gain information using her acting for the group’s advantage. Selfish enough to not tell the members once she figured out (or a sneaking suspicion of) the reason behind their leader’s suicide. Selfish enough to let herself be blind to Hoseok’s intentions because she had his attention more than the other members and somehow it made her feel special. Selfish enough to not take the opportunity to gain information about the members of his team monitoring them from him because she was too caught up with (dare she say) love. She was by far no better than him. On their night of their breakout, after weeks of painstakingly plotting their movements and coming up with a plan, she found herself wondering if this was really worth it. At the last minute, she decided not to follow the other members, her closest friends in the last few years, her beloved family that has wormed their way into her heart. She bid a teary farewell to them promising them that she’ll visit once she was out and they promised the same. Despite attempts to change her mind by some of the members, they respected her decision and left leaving her (and some of the members who stayed as well *if there are any whoops) alone. There was a lot of things she wanted to say to Hoseok eventually when him and the other members of his team caught with them. But all that came out was a shaky smile and a breathless voice “Three strikes, you got me.” accompanying tear stained eyes.


She did well with her sisters that escaped by not telling the authorities anything even if they threatened to elongate her stay at the rehabilitation centre. She didn’t regret her decision. Especially when her hearing came up and a certain guard had put in a good word for her thus shortening her sentence. When she walked out of the place a free woman with Hoseok waiting for her with his car, she felt content and happy with herself. When he asked where she wanted to go now, she replied cheerfully with “Mokpo sounds like a good place to visit.”

—Scene requests: -The kiss- Well not really a kiss just a peck on the cheek. Minji felt a little bold this time. She does this when Hoseok fails to catch her in the act again and instead of leaving him with food this time she creeps up behind him before reaching to quickly peck on his cheek and racing to her room. She felt giddy as she slept that night. This could be interpreted to be Hoseok’s last night in the night shift as well before switching to the day shift.

-The confrontation- When the other members break out leaving her (and if there is, the other members who stayed as well) alone and after she says that hella cheesy line to him, I want him to ask why she stayed and I kind of want her to act all embarrassed contemplating if she should tell him that it was because of him before replying with “I’m tired of running.” (explained more in the anything else? section below) I also of course want (if you can) to put his reaction to it as well instead of a cliffhanger.



✧PLAYING WITH FIRE

—Scene requests II: With the other gang members~


-Cinderella- I imagine a scene between them when she, frustrated with her sensing that Minji wasn’t taking to avenging Belle’s death good enough, points out the fact that she wouldn’t know how she feels like right now (about Belle’s death) and how much she has to do this (seeing as she was the most closest to Belle and knew her the longest) and Minji replying sadly with “You weren’t the only one that loved her you know. She was special to me too.” or “I do know how you feel. I loved her too.”


-Aurora- I feel like there should be a moment between them when Aurora feeling extremely tired and sleepy all of a sudden leaned onto Minji while she chuckles and continues to read the book in her lap. Or any sweet moment between them.


-Pocahontas- A scene where there’s a comfortable silence between them as they did their own things.


-Snow White- A scene where she comforts her or what not. Or where Minji gets protective of her. Could be a small moment between them.


-Ariel- Them spread on the garden floor in a secluded part of the garden with Ariel whining to her about her problems and disinterested feelings about staying in the centre while Minji justs listens to her offering a comment here and there. Maybe throw in a hug in there too. Any sweet moment. As well as any scene that involves Ariel calling her Meanie or Sis.


-Rapunzel- Them initiating any form of skinship between the two of them.

-Nurse- A short scene where Seokjin bandages Minji, after accidentally getting into a fight alongside with a few other members, in the nurse’s office (lol is that what’s it called? Or med bay?). He treats her well.


-Janitor- Lol i got nothing on him. Go wild with this one.


-Doctor- Minji surprising him with her english and smirking at him after an hour of him explaining certain words in english which she acts like she doesn’t know. Or a scene where in one of their appointments she praises the way he looks aka his attractiveness to her in english. (lol something i would do)


-Lunch Lady- She tries to be nice to him so she could get some food of her own choice on her tray. Enjoys chatting to him.


-Gardener- Him getting frustrated at her that she messed up his masterpiece of a bush even though she just bumped into it and barely did any damage to it. Or let’s her and the other members lay down on the garden floor even though he shouldn’t. Or her teasing the other member (the one that’s paired with him) that if she didn’t already have someone else in her mind she would have gone for him.


-Patient- Minji is the most careful with him. Doesn’t believe his story despite his protest that “It’s true!”. Regardless, she finds him and her other member’s (the one that’s paired with him) interaction cute. Indulges him with his flirting. A part of her think’s he’s amusing.


(bare in mind these are all just ideas that i want input in the story and entirely optional. It’s up to you if you want to indulge me and my requests even if it’s just a few of them.)

—Anything else?: -the reason why she stayed- She basically says that she’s tired of running because all throughout her life she had been moving and on the go. Starting from the orphanage to getting adopted to her gang moving around a lot so that they won’t get caught by the authorities and a hell of a lot more. She’s essentially saying that she doesn’t want to move around and running away from the po po anymore, wanting to settle down in one place and maybe actually going to college.
