The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. The large spacious kitchens revolves around the enormous black iron oven in the center of the room. A black cast iron chimney comes up from the floor below and exits out to the top. There is plenty of countertop space for several chefs to work at once. The ravenwood cabinets are kept tightly locked. The mouth watering aroma of meats roasted in spices hangs in the air. Central to the kitchen is a black iron oven, next to racks of pots and pans that hang nearby. A slender leothin sits here motionless, brightening its surroundings with its natural golden bio-luminescence.

Bizirik, the leothin lets out the teeniest of whines, plodding over to Tridemon and aggressively circling the lucidian.

Esei lays a hand on your forehead, and your body tingles with a healing warmth.

Tridemon the light in his eyes continues to dim for a few more moments before flaring back up as he watches you carefully. "The portal isn't exactly the most subtle or quiet of modes of transport. And you didn't even look up until I'd been in here for at least a minute and a half."

Tridemon continues to watch you almost entirely in silence, with the occasional small grinding sound of stone-on-stone when he shifts his attention to Bizirik.

Tridemon is paying rather more attention to Bizirik's behavior than your at the moment, watching the leothin's apparently elevated stress levels, right up until the cookbook is dropped and draws his attention again.

Bizirik, the leothin jumps at the sound of the book, chattering loudly now, the lines on its body seeming brighter than normal.
