  1. Jump #167: Warhammer 40,000 - Craftworld Eldar
  2. >The High Priestess (Education, knowledge, wisdom, and esoteric teachings. The forces of nature. Intuition, foresight, and spiritual revelation of the most mysterious and arcane sort.)
  3. Of all the jumps I could draw a trump card, this one is definitely one where I needed it, and this one in particular is VERY fitting.
  4. >Location: Saim-Hann
  5. I want to punch whoever at GW decided that half the Eldar stuff should be some sort of clever play on words. Yes, we get it. Samhain. Ha. Ha.
  6. >Path: Exodite
  7. Honestly? This one has less raw power, but it's just... more INTERESTING.
  8. >Drawbacks: There Is Only War (0), Long Is The Road (+800)
  9. Oh it is going to be a very long- TEN THOUSAND YEARS? Oh this is not going to be very much fun. I will have to travel quite a bit... and be damned careful, with the amount of insanity that I'm going to end up coming across.
  10. >Child of the Exodus (1700, Exodite)
  11. Temptations are called that because they exist to tempt the unwary. But I am quite wary of such temptations indeed. They'll find no hold here.
  12. >A World Is A Living Thing (1500, Exodite)
  13. A very useful ability. I wonder how it works, exactly? Does it set up pockets of safety from the warp? I know that planets can, in time, achieve some semblance of self-awareness - on a smaller scale, does it work like a genius loci? Curious... most curious.
  14. >Worldsinger (1300, Exodite)
  15. Biomancy as reflected in nature is a very promising ability that I intend to cultivate.
  16. >Lost to the Path (900)
  17. Ah, but not all who wander are lost. And knowing what would need to be done to create more Maiden Worlds is an incredibly useful thing. If only I'd had such knowledge ages ago - it would have made terraforming much more interesting.
  18. >Tall and Narrow Gate (300)
  19. You'd better believe that I WILL be making use of this while I'm in this jump. Perhaps I won't be making a dedicated webway, but sharing such knowledge with those who CAN make use of it... yes. Perhaps as the centuries pass, I might see the rise of a smaller, separate webway network? Still, with such knowledge, it's no wonder that the Emperor wanted me captured and brought before him.
  20. >Not All Who Wander Are Lost (0)
  21. Okay, I will admit it. I do have companions, as infrequently as I speak of them they do travel with me, and I have made a habit of ensuring that they are granted copies of my powers as I have abilities to grant them. I have Gaia, I have a fork of myself that I saved from death during Farscape, I have Breach from Generator Rex, I have 436 Abstract Balance from Halo: The Covenant, and I have the cultist. And all of them are now Eldar and a part of my retinue, as it were. And my fork, Gaia, and Breach all have the majority of my powers - the cultist hasn't been around long enough to start getting those, and up until now, AB being machine means he only got a certain portion of what I could do. Though the cultist seems to be in absolute heaven having literally anything to eat and anywhere to sleep, let alone something decent and somewhere comfortable. I gotta admit, I was shocked by that.
  22. This will prove interesting, though.
  23.
  24. >"Hwee cap-toored thees, meestor!"
  25. >"That's... that's a dinosaur. Ceci, why do you have a dinosaur!"
  26. >"Hwee shall ride eet!"
  27. >"Why do you still have that accent? HOW do you still have that accent?"
  28. >"Wheeee!"
  29. >"But you have perfect Eldar teeth- aw, forget it."
  30.
  31. So the conditions are grim, of course; grim darkness and all that rot. But I shall persevere. More than that, I shall thrive. Even if some of the worst possible things get thrown at me. I'm not above running and hiding when I must. Even Eldrad did that, the old coot.
