Star vs The Forces of Evil: You Really Got Me Now Part 6

	With his town map at the ready Marco was finding his way back to the Headless Dragon, as he walked he did notice the town looking a bit more festive then usual and not to mention more crowded, a stream of bright elegant carriages would ride into the castle beyond its gates and occasionally a firework would shoot up into the sky clearly there was a party going on and Marco was NOT invited.

 Inside the Headless Dragon, customers were drinking, arguing, fighting so the usual; Marco had been here before while he was exploring Mewnie the first few times he came to visit Star it was rough at first since most of the guys in here are built like mountains and they made fun of him for being a pipsqueak, which in turn only encouraged Marco to get more muscular and work out more if he was going to visit Mewnie often he wasn't going to be the weakling of the populace. Eventually Marco's luck turned and won some respect from the taverns regulars after he beat one of them in an arm wrestling match; some even recognized him as that guy from the fights in the cave "he's pretty good even teams up with the princess" they would say. Marco took a seat at the bar and signaled the bartender.

"Well lads would ya look at that; our favorite Earthling is back" said the bartender in a slight cockney accent walking over to Marco, his name was Vasily Marco sort of became friends with him; around the tavern other customers cheered and shouted welcome back, Marco waved at them.

"Haven't seen you around these parts for  while lad?" Vas said reaching for a hand shake. "Still kicking arse back home?" Marco just laughed.

"Yeah Vas you know me, can't keep these things down," Marco said raising his fists. "I'd like to stay and chat, but I need some information then I have to go"

"Ayy?" Vas looked on. "Thought you may want to drink away the pain of losing your lady like so many of these good for nothing drunks; and don't give me any of that I'll only have water I don't drink nonsense" Vas poured turned the knob on a wooden barrel and some purple liquid flowed out and into a mug; "On the house for our favorite earthling".

Marco smelled the drink, it smelled Ok and took a sip, surprisingly it wasn't bad even if Marco assumed it was unicorn sweat or something.

"Thanks, Vas but what do you mean lost my lady?" Marco said taking another sip of his hopefully non-alcoholic drink as he had just barely turned 19 last month.

"You haven't heard?; that Miss Butterfly is getting married today"

Marco spat out his drink in shock; unfortunately he was looking in Vas's direction. "Ay thanks mate I needed a shower," Vas said sarcastically wiping his face, Marco apologized.

"Yea ya always talked about her; figured on Earth you were some type of royalty why else would the Queen allow you to be in her daughter's presence for so long?"

Marco couldn't believe what he was hearing, it COULDN'T be true or was it...Marco pressed Vasily for more, to which Vas had told him everything he knew threw the guards coming in and gossiping; told him about Kale about Star trying to escape about her mother allegedly locking her up in her room when Vas finished Marco just looked pale and sick but at least now he knows the dreams and headaches were indeed a warning that Star was in some kind of distress and if he was right then she was calling out to him for help and help is what she'll get; Marco Diaz has never let her down before and he sure as hell wasn't about to let Star marry some known asshole.

Marco knew he couldn't sneak in the front door, and besides if Star was effectively being kept prisoner he'd need a way to get her out too, Marco reached into his thoughts walking to town he noticed all the guards were at the front but not in the back of the castle and Marco didn't want to make unnecessary stops now that he knows Star is in her room at the top of the tower..the tower that it it has to be it.

"Vas....can you get me a grappling hook? I have some climbing to do" whispered Marco to Vas; who in turn just raised an eyebrow.

"Ay lad I can get you something; take it your going to do some wedding crashing?"

Marco shook his head, "Can't have a wedding if the bride is another dimension playing video games and eating nachos".

	Before going through with his plan Marco put his dimensional scissors in a pouch and buried it not far from the castle he was afraid if he got caught they would be confiscated and then he'd really be in trouble. Soon enough, Vas appeared outside the tavern with what Marco needed; a iron grappling hook with a (hopefully) sturdy rope tied to it; and some medieval looking gloves, Marco thanked him and gave him some gold coins as thanks and with that he made his way to the rear of the castle keeping his hoodie on to avoid anyone seeing his face, the central tower was right next to the wall Marco's plan was to hopscotch his way up first onto the wall then onto the balconies dotting the side of the tower until he reached the top floor, Stars room it would not be easy as Marco hated heights but knowing that Star is up there suffering made him get past that fear instantly.

	Marco twirled and the grapple's iron hook with his hand and let it fly towards the top of the wall where it got stuck, Marco pulled on it and placed his feet against the wall and took a few steps up until he was a few feet off the ground; so far so good he thought reaching the top of the wall. Looking up he saw the first balcony on his trip he was close.

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair," Marco thought to himself and threw the grappling hook once more.


In her bedroom Star was being fitted into her wedding dress, it was beautiful if she wasn't so upset she might have actually smiled. It was pure white minus the golden butterfly embroided on the skirt of the dress, it was opened on the back in a V shape allowing Stars wings to flutter in the open; the front was like a corset that emphasised her bust too much, most likely a request by that ungodly perv she supposes to have children with;  a few moments that perv came into her room as the door swung open, "Leave us" Kale shouted and the tailor and her assistants left in a hurry, Kale even slapped one of their butts as she walked by  the door closing behind them. Star just rolled her eyes, "Don't you know its bad luck to see a bride before the wedding?" Star said sarcastically.

"There isn't going to be a wedding" Kale began; even from a few feet away Star could smell the rum on his breath figures the bastard would get drunk, "I'm going to cancel the whole thing somehow"

"REALLY?!" Star stood up from her chair where she was sitting at her desk, maybe he wasn't such an issuferable douche after all.

"We both know, your going to do something to ruin the day; not to mention my life afterwards" Kale said stepping closer. "Well your right on both accounts...more or less" replied Star.

'Well anyways just because I'm not going to marry you, does't mean I wont still have my fun" a grin coming across Kales face, he was inches away from Star now.

"I see they accepted my request for the dress, shame it won't be seen at the ceremony  its more for my pleasure anyways"

Kale grabbed Stars wrist and tried to kiss her. Star pushed him back. "Now now Star least you can do is repay my generosity" Kale said in a hushed tone. He grabbed her again and ran his hand down the side of her throat, Star tried to get away but he had an iron grip he then proceeded to try to pull down her dress by the the straps; this repulsed Star to the bone she then kicked him as hard as she could in the knee, causing him to let go, but Kale was now angry, and he lunged at her.

"One way or another this is gonna happen" he hissed ats Star as he grabbed her by the throat with his right hand, holding her waist with the left.

"NO ITS NOT!" Star spat and despite his hand on her throat Star headbutted him in the face, sending him reelingback, while this was going on they didn't notice the little iron hook latch onto Stars balcony.

"Don't look down Marco don't look down" mumbled a nervous Marco as he shimmied up the rope, this was it the last one hopefully Stars in there and not getting married already. As he climbed he heard voices coming from the room, one was defeintly Star the other he could not place.

"Star? Helloo its me Marco, if your like naked or something get behind a wall I'd wait outside but I'm uhh...nevermind long story" Marco shouted but got no response, but the noises continued so Marco kept climbing he was almost to the balcony.

Inside the room, Star and Kale were in a deadlock, she had kicked and punched him many times but he kept coming, she could have sworn she heard a voice but she can't focus on it with Kale trying to force himself on her. She spun kicked Kale back and onto her desk which made him fall to the floor, Star ran up to kick him but she ws slow as she was wearing heels as she raised her foot to kick his face in, Kale grabbed it and knocked her to the ground, Stars head hit the marble floor of her room hard and everything got blurry. Kale picked her up and threw her on the bed, her vision regained focus as Kale was inches away from her face both his hands were on her throat.

"I always get what I want, don't worry I'll be gentle" Kale sneered.

"Good, because I won't"

Kale looked up from the bed how the fuck did someone get in here? he thought, but all he saw was a fist as it slammed into his face knocking him backwards, sending a tooth flying followed by an uppercut into his stomach that completely knocked the wind out of him; Star began to get up from the bed breathing hard from the lack of oxygen first thin she noticed was kale on the ground grasping his sides as a tall figure in red loomed over him. Star's heart began to beat faster like it was gonna explode no...it couldn't be.

Kale stood up and charged at the figure but he grabbed Kale by his waist putting him in a headlock, both of them looking at Star.

"Hi Star, y-you look really nice" Marco said with a smile, holding onto Kale who was struggling to break free.

Star took a few steps back, part of her was convinced this was just a dream her mind is giving her while Kale does unspeakable things to her body so she can survive the trauma but the other part was screaming this is real, thats Marco he's really here.

"Hey uhm, hes fighting me pretty hard, do you mind?" Marco asked, motioning Star to attack.

"Oh right" Star said snapping out of her confused state, she approached Kale and delivered 5 quick blows to the chest and one to the face as Marco had him in the hold; he then let him go Kale spun around and swung at Marco but missed Marco replied in kind by deliving a spin kick to his chest causing kale to stumble backwards as he did Star grabbed him by the shoulders spun him around so he's facing her and then drove her knee into his groin; she then grabbed him by his shirt collar and threw him face first into her mirrior which then shattered. Kale dropped to the ground, bloody and unconsicne but alive.

"Remember that name, the other fighters back in that cave would call us when we got into 2vs 2 matches?" Marco said smiling. "Team Marcstar"

Star had the biggest smile on her face but was on the verge of crying again. "No no no it was Team Starco"

"I hate to disagree with a bride on her wedding day, but I'm preetttyy sure it was MarcStar" said Marco with a grin.

"Well your outta luck I spoke to those guys a few days ago and it was defenitly Starco"

'Aww well ok I believe you" Marco said blushing a little.

Star jumped into his arms, wrapped her legs around Marco's waist and arms around his neck, Marco almost fell back but he held her, held her tight promising to never let go of her again. Star let the tears come, "I thought I would never see you again" she whispered into his ear. "Hey you know me, when you least expect it, BOOM Marco Diaz at your service" whispered Marco back almost crying himself.

"Lets go home" Star whispreed, slightly kissing his ear and still not letting go. Marco blushed but nodded.
"Home it is".

Team Starco is back together.
