Blood Crown - Applying Runes

With bowl of mineral powder next to her and another handful of it in her fist just as she prepared to carve in the runes onto the crown itself and to connect them with ones on the iron wood pieces she fitted in. Unlike with other materials, the metal needed to be heated up to higher temperatures before the mineral dust would merge with external metal layer.

Her fingers moved slowly against the surface of the shaped crown, slowly heating it up and merging the runic dust together, slowly shaping it into runic pattern and combination she worked over for months, fitting them all together to boost up her control over blood magic itself. The heat burnt her fingers and forced her to scowl just as she kept forcing more of the dust against the surface of the circlet.

After few good hours of work and countless usages of time magic to reverse the wounds she was done, staring at her work with a smile, observing the fully completed and runed blood crown, waiting for her to activate the runes and surround it with her own blood.
