- After a History Revision Cannon mishap, the world of Patashu Industries has undergone a reality shift, becoming an adventurer medieval fantasy world with a wildly different tech aesthetic. Machines still battle machines for prestige and power, big and numerous, but now... Titanic lumber yards and foundries produce wooden siege engines that often have pokemon/animal motifs and murals rather than shapes, armed with ballistae, rams and trebuchets, powered by primitive wood and rope clockwork and magical combustibles - alongside battle blimps, wooden sailing warships, personal mural emblazoned merchant caravans and iron forged mechwalkers.
- But since dragons don't exist post-reality shift, Patashu himself has become a feral steampunk horse - and seems to be the only one who remembers the pre-shift setting! No longer head of his company, he's now just one mechanical warhorse of Dragonforge's many - but he still remembers how to engineer (though doing it with hooves and mouth will be a trick). If he can find a likeminded knight to ride into battle alongside him, he might be able to discuss ways in which the unfamiliar setting of Spellblades & Siegecraft can be influenced further...
