Paint fumes enlightement? LOL

yesterday when Chester was in Wales, Aberyswyth, Chester went down to the docking bay with boats (mind control?) which was ground lower down.  As he went down he could smell real strong paint fumes.  A white clean shaven man with ruddy complexion in his 30's or so had a snarled expression or so.  Chester thought he better get out of there pretty quick.  Then Chester started having head aches and felt unwell.  This feeling lasted for a good twenty minutes and Chester felt very ill on his way back from the walk.

This place was next to the castle and it had many boats in it.
Chester thinks that this man was helping father with his conspiracy.  Was this a attempt to harm Chester or a threat or was father preparing Chester emotionally and other people so that he goes to prison it won't hurt so much and people will know what a asshole he was?   LOL

Or are they just revealing the truth to Chester to how it all works.    Or are they trying to enlighten Chester through trauma?
