She recognized the face of the boy who was on the verge of tears as he was shoved around by the punks. He was a classmate.

Masked Wonder first climbed to the top of a power pole and then leapt down from there, making a suitably heroic and dramatic entrance. She did not give the opposition any time to react and in a tenth of a second, she had punched as many times as there were opponents, striking their chins to knock them out. Then she left the dumbfounded boy behind and hastily left the scene. While doing this made her feel a bit like a roadside bandit or an indiscriminate murderer, she struck a victory pose in her heart. While one of the ironclad rules of Magical Girls was to act in a low-key fashion, surely they did not need to worry about such minor details when helping someone who was under attack.
