The company itself is absolutely amazing. The location I just so happened to work at got a new store manager and a new ASL. Our store manager doesn't know what hes doing and our new ASL is sketchy, unprofessional, and just evil. My sister and I worked at the same location and she put her 2 weeks in because she found a much better opportunity for her family. When he got the news, he started threatening her, making rumors around the store, and now him, the store manager and another lower manager are treating me differently because my sister put her 2 weeks in. He expects way too much of the closing shift. We are expected to get absolutely everything done before we leave, but when the other managers including him leave, he leaves his mess behind so the closing shift has to clean up, so we don't have time to recover the store, but he throws a fit when he opens and  he sees we either stayed too late, or nothing is done because we have to clean up his mess and don't have time for our stuff to get done. When you make one mistake, he talks to you likes you're 5 years old, instead of being helpful, he makes you feels completely stupid. I used to love working for this company, it was such a fun environment, supportive, helpful, etc but ever since we got him he made our 5 tier store, go down to a 4 tier, more negative reviews, and the whole petcare team, 3 or 4 groomers, and a couple cashiers are leaving because of him. Not only is he treating his team this way, but he talks trash on other managers, including the store manager we had before our new store manager came (he was amazing to say the least) who trained him.... At the other store he came from, one of my sisters friends tried to get transferred and he denied it for no reason. He threatened her, got in her personal business, and lied to her saying the store she wanted to go to had no availability (when it did.) He is just all around a horrible person. We have 2 other managers who are absolutely amazing, but sadly they are only lower tier managers. I know other stores are great to work at, its just my current location.
