[12:19] After the small incident with the spider, now they've entered the fortress! And into the library they wemt, as it was a suitable spot - in fact, perfect for any planning.

And into this room permeated by tomes of knowledge, some undead servants of the lich would enter - carrying materials quite unique and such as were presented for synthetic.

Most of our life as a mortal and immortal, it would be more than adequate to improve further - before finding a new bearer.

Whether within our lineage or not." And there he fell silent as he removed a pile of paper from inside a rift.

[12:33] Godfrey would offer a sagely nod as the spider was banished and the lich drew him forth to his workshop, the timeless synthetic always willing to help one of his various allies with projects worthy of his time. A scan of the masterwork axe seemed to bring him pause however, taking a particular amount of time to ensure every last detail of it was sealed away in his database for later contemplation.

It was a fine work of art. To improve upon it would take creativity and incredibly rare resources. Luckily for them? It seemed such was just the case for the elder lich.

"It is a masterwork already, I will need to get creative. That being said, I can gauge from my scanners that the feather there....it is a supernatural source of power. I believe I may be capable of thinking of something."

The timeless synthetic would offer a low hum and nod at that as he scanned over the pocket rift generator. It's sporadic warps brought a sense of pause to the machine.

"That rift generator. It's unstable presently because it is unshackled to the will of the weapon. Yes, I am getting a bigger picture now."

He'd nod firmly at that. It would be easy to just grind up the feather into runic material, but a flair of inspiration halted such efforts from Godfrey.

"We weld and shackle the rift generator to the base of the axeblade. Through internal wiring, it will be connected to the black feather, which shall be mounted upon the back of the axe blade as both a dark power source and symbol. In a sense, the same as arrows are fletched with feathers to increase their speed, by fletching this axe with the dark feather, it will carve through rifts faster, perhaps even open them naturally with each swing."

He'd offer a firm bob of his head at that as he admired the other reagents.

"As for the bone and scale? I can improve the grip of the axe by shaping the scale into a handle atthe base, then use the bone as a source of enchantment material while saving some to carve a skull atop the scale handle to be mounted."

[12:42] Perfect, the Synthetic was already thinking about how to do the job - that's what the undead needed, but obviously his own ideas would be offered, as the time was for planning.

"The plan is also to infuse this relic with our ether, and then through the usage of the rift generator, make possible for the axe to return back to us - having a conscience of its own.

A loyal weapon, that can be called to us, tearing the fabric of reality to return to our grasp when required." And at that instant, his attention was turned to Adrian, who had just arrived, "Perhaps our dear friend here can also help in this task, considering he's a Riftmancy Master.

The more knowledge that is offered to improve this object, the more suitable it will be.. We want to turn this into truly a thing to be part of the history, eternally." And in that he would start putting everything away while they discussed the project.

"If more materials are needed, such can be offered - we hold a huge collection of objects.. From mundane things such as Arcanium..

[12:47] Godfrey would offer a sagely nod of appraisal as he made a mental note of the lich's personal requests, a swift understanding gauged from their desire to have a weapon that can return to its master. Such was not above Godfrey's ability with the use of law runes to compel operations; properly wiring the rift generator and enruning it would be the only complex part of note.

"The more interesting materials you can make manifest, the more ideas I'm likely to have. Arcanium can always be used to expand the ambition of the axe itself, but I believe that more unique materials may serve better as a whole to bringing out the full potential of the artifice."

He'd offer a firm bob of his head again at that.

"Needless to say, if I could appraise such materials, I'd have a final idea of what exactly needs to be done to improve the axe. Still, we have a good start as is."

[13:04] Godfrey would enter the lich's demesne with care befitting a machine who found each and every inch of architecture to be more invaluable than any living being. To him, great works were what defined ingenuity, and organics oft disappointed in that particular realm.

Yet, allowed to peruse the remainder of the lich's reagents, an idea was swiftly beginning to form with no less than sparkles of maniacal inspiration in the android's ocular nodes. Yes, YES, now there was an idea. It was all coming together.

"What better way to show the mastery of a flawless necromancer than to show command over even the heart of a dragon. Yes, my idea has come together."

He'd offer a firm bob of his head at that as he examined the various rune plates, thoughts coming together as he mentally assembled the theoretical wiring that would be involved.

"With this bundle of feathers, as well as this rarer, larger one, I believe we can bind them with the black feather to make a worthy plumage as I state before. It will make the blade more aerodynamic, and symbolize its connection to the rift generator. However, this is where such things have changed."

He'd offer a firm click of his false teeth at that.

"While we shall still be improving the handle with the gorgon scale and bones, the rift generator will no longer be just welded to the base, no. We are going to plate the exterior of the dragon's heart with these runic plates, scribe them with the runes of law to compel them to your will, and put the generator inside of the dragon's heart. We shall stir it into unlife, that it acts as the beating heart of your necromantic catalyst, and with each swing of the plume of feathers, rifts will tear with the distant beat of dragon wings and their great gust. In a sense, your axe will become a dracolich."

[13:17] The materials were presented, countless things that the being ended up keeping in his chests - since he rarely used them.. But, the time had come, it was time to put them to use, for an extremely grandiose project!

"A Dracolich? That is actually great!

Splendid, your mind always fascinates us dear Godfrey - clearly choosing you was extremely wise and we know you will not let us down." As he spoke, crates were being brought in by the undead into the room.

And such servants were already packing up the materials and then remaining behind Godfrey once done!

We just need a sense of when we can start working on this together.. And if you want to use our forge or your own for the project." The being had a forge, not so used anymore..

But Godfrey would probably have something more suitable than the undead - maybe... Regardless! They now had a course of action and would just need to do it.

[13:25] Godfrey would offer a steady nod as the various precious materials were stored in his internal chassis, care in particular taken for the precious dragon heart that would be held in stasis until the work was done. It wouldn't be a horrifically long affair now that there was a plan; the lich's next visit to the machine's workshop could likely knock it all out.

"Indeed. I impress myself at times. It is an honor to work with such divine materials Ser Nidaz, your choice was not misplaced. I was created for these sorts of tasks, and I have made it my passion to surpass all that preceded me. It will be done in earnest; your swing will conjure the wing beats of a great dragon sworn to your vassaldom."

"I can store the min my workshop to spare you the space, and we can use my forge when you are ready. The final minutia of the Dune Forge should be done by the time we begin this project, infusing the spark of dark sentience in the great dracolich will never prove easier.
