  1. A new world.
  2.
  3. Icy winds ricochet against a blackened, wooden mask-- only affecting the Qilin through small perforations. Agartha simply emanated a different scent, one of freshness, but, utterly... one that needed correction.
  4.
  5. Undulations intensify, the shore trembles with a mighty boat under a familiar, yet very distant flag. Subsequently, the magnificent structure doesn't take long to dock, revealing a bridge.
  6.
  7. Countless of people moving, working towards such arrival. Perhaps not receiving many ships changed the way a population worked over ports, however, surely... a path was finally open.
  8.
  9. Boots slam against the final parts of the ship, and a man of recondite identity arrives, followed by other two. He exerts an aura of seriousness, mayhaps because of the mask obstructing his countenance, perhaps the simple meaning of being transportated half of the world for a mission.
  10.
  11. Bright blue orbs pursue a certain target, immediatly bowing in immense respect for Ikkaku. Other smaller parts of the tripulation, too, surround the Regent, a polite greeting from the mainland.
  12.
  13. "Ikkaku Ukitake, Lord Regent of Ardent Cliff. My name is Kotei no Hosoku, under the title of Emperor's Law. Our mission is crystalline like the waters behind me. It is a pleasure to meet you."
  14. (Kotei no Hosoku)
  15.
  16. A soft and calming song plays in the air as the Regent stood near the docks, sky blue staring towards the massive ship that was soon to arrive. A feeling of goodness, calmness and benevolence settles in the air as the Regent and a couple others waited by the docks for the new arrivals. Their gaze scours the bow of the ship; Until one of those that they sought would become visible themselves.
  17.
  18. "Greetings Kotei. I am indeed Ikkaku though.. Not so much a Regent of Ardent Cliff given its recent falling. A Regent of Tongyishan however, and glad to make your acquaintance. I'll be showing you two around the settlements that are currently under our control but that is something later. First I have this."
  19.
  20. A hand raises, and the invisible strings of fate would pull a sword from a nearby box through the air, hovering outwards in front of them. The other hand moves, the same invisible force bringing forth a pair of gauntlets. Each weapon would be extended outwards for the two to take.
  21.
  22. "I was uncertain how equipped the Qilin would be upon arrival, so I took the liberty of gathering some of my personal wares. Feel free to examine them and use them if they can be of use."
  23.
  24. There is a nod, one of respect in turn towards the Qilin arrivals, though their expression would be masked behind their own mask.
  25.
  26. "I'll show you both around, and explain a bit of the duties I would like you both to accept, should you have the time. Otherwise I can guide you to Tongyishan for now and show you through Kogarashi."
  27. (Ikkaku Ukitake)
  28.
  29. Ikkaku Ukitake drops Kubera.
  30.
  31. Ikkaku Ukitake drops Flesh Rend.
  32.
  33. You pick up Flesh Rend.
  34.
  35. Kotei no Hosoku picks up Kubera.
  36.
  37. Amon has exited Kogarashi Harbour.
  38.
  39. Yagi follows quickly after Kotei. His whole form is, if anything, a bit more humble and simple than his fellow Qilin's, although still wearing the same mask as his companion. Soft steps conducted towards the stone and snow, he calmly glanced towards all the citizens around the location.
  40.
  41. Blue leylines covering whatever pieces of flesh remained exposed, the Shuren finally came to see Ikkaku, almost by instinct stopping at the same time as Kotei.
  42.
  43. A courteous bow, albeit slightly more rigid and stiffened than the others, probably due to his own military nature. The kimono rubs against the snow, covering its edges in the humid white, before he finally makes his introduction.
  44.
  45. "I am grateful for the warm welcome, Lord Regent. I am Yagi Shuren, under the title of Emperor's Fist." He said, blue orbs accompanying the intricate blade of Nyeshk disposed in front of him. A single thumb ran through the blade, before a curt nod was directed towards the Regent.
  46.
  47. And then, a brief glance directed towards the surrounding ambience. It all looked pretty... Nice, overall. At least to him. A soft breeze sends his kimono's lower parts swaying to the wind. "I have enough time for now, I believe. What about you, Yagi?"
  48.
  49. His voice is comforting and calm, yet somehow missing the same regality as the fellow Qilin. After all, Yagi wasn't any noble born... He was simply a villager, and every single thing about him said that.
  50. (Yagi Shuren)
  51.
  52. Kotei replies with a jubilant, yet formal obeisance, unable to avert from intense respect a single second. Consequently, the hidden eyes inspect the new acquisition.
  53.
  54. A single digit slithers through the orichalcum, immediatly revealing the runes behind the enchanting, deeply scrutinizing the features. A decent amount of mana slides from the apex of his index finger to the gauntlet, able to analyze the channeling of energies. Afterwards, the Qilin's elemental nature further presses the runes, confirming another part of the wish.
  55.
  56. Undoubtedly, he would be content with the gift. As a man of the Emperor, Ikkaku's standards are already high within Hosoku's psyche-- but the Regent did come prepared. And the offering made him ascend under a personal level of judgement, one always maintained as the other title of Living Tribunal.
  57.
  58. "I am purely grateful, Lord Regent. Answering your question, I do have time."
  59.
  60. Nodding, the man returned to taciturnity, gaze cemented at Ikkaku.
  61. (Kotei no Hosoku)
  62.
  63. The Regent gave a nod of their head, their gaze first falling upon the other Qilin. A blink of acknowledgement is made, followed by another nod. "It is nice to meet you, Yagi. I hope I am able to foster a friendship and a strong foundation of trust between myself and all the Qilin."
  64.
  65. Their gloved hand would gesture to the nearby buildings. "With that I will begin to explain. Currently we find ourselves in Kogarashi, our connection to the water. We have a volcano to the west, and more icey land to the east. Travelling the volcano alone is not recommended; The Demons here have a native force known as Gaiar Aetherius, and they are the ones who burned Ardent.
  66.
  67. To the south are caves that are equally as dangerous, and leaving them leads to a Valmasian city being created on top of where they burned Ardent. An insult given their part in what happened, but onethat will be tended to in time.
  68.
  69. To the east there is the academy of Tongyishan, as well as Tongyishan itself. I'll be guiding you both there and showing you around. We have several watch towers on the border to assist us with policing the area."
  70.
  71. With that, their gaze would turn to each Qilin.
  72.
  73. "I have been granted a report on the Qilin sent.
  74.
  75. Kotei. I have heard that you are good at judging for the Emperor's will. There are often times when the prisons are overbooked with prisoners, and there are disturbances of the public. I would like for you to assist in dealing with these matters and judging them. I personally always keep the law book handy and if you desire I can share a copy with you. I do warn however, the people can be rather abrasive when sentencings of brandings and whippings occur.
  76.
  77. Yagi. I heard about you often fighting against corruption, and your grand faith in the Emperor. I would like your assistance in the Fourfold, helping to bring the faith of the Emperor more into it, as well as sharing the benevolence of his grace. I am an Order mage myself.. I imagine that isn't often heard of outside of Agartha as the magic is.. somewhat unwritten in books. But I believe it would be best to teach you this and have your assistance in helping others on this path.
  78.
  79. Questions and concerns?"
  80.
  81. (Ikkaku Ukitake)
  82.
  83. His expression shifts slightly under the mask, the tip of his perked up eyebrow exposing itself at the edges of the mask. Demons are a ruling potency in this continent? Well, these lands were strange indeed, but it would justify the reports that he received back in Sheng.
  84.
  85. Upon hearing of his own reporting of situation and possible allocation, Yagi emitted a curt nod, slightly bowing towards the Lord Regent's direction. "That would be exceptional, Lord Regent. I am eager to learn more about this Order you say."
  86.
  87. And then, a slow sigh came. One hand rose to adjust the mask upon his face, making sure that the eye sockets were properly fitting over his blue orbs, still locked upon Ikkaku.
  88.
  89. "I believe that we should start our little tour immediately, then. We'll have much work to do in here, and time is of the essence."
  90. (Yagi Shuren)
  91.
  92. All information is properly absorbed, specially the watchtowers. Lesser tactics are already formed inside the Qilin's mind, one eager to distribute new plans over to the army. Accepting Ikkaku's words, his own echoed through the snowy ambit.
  93.
  94. "I would gladly accept the book for studying, and also the position you talked about. Additionally, I believe my potential is also great within the Fourfold, considering my experience. Truly, I am also extremely excited to learn about the wonders of this new land. The enemies, allies, geographic advantages and disadvantages, culture... everything."
  95.
  96. Once again, a low chuckle escapes the perforations as Kotei corrected himself shortly after, stiffening his spine.
  97.
  98. "Very well. I agree with Yagi, we shouldn't waste time. From what you said, this Gaiar Aetherius force seems to be in colossal profit over the moment. The situation will be changed, but time is a key value."
  99. (Kotei no Hosoku)
  100.
  101. But a moment was taken before the Qilin seemed to have absorbed all the knowledge. There was a blink before a nod. They were fast.
  102.
  103. "Wonderful. I've been showing a couple people it. It is a force of benevolence and how I was able to move the gauntlets and blade without touch."
  104.
  105. Their gaze then moved to Kotei. "Wonderful." A gloved hand digs through a bag at their side, taking out a book of law. It's smaller then the normal books for easy transport, but still retained the laws. "Here you are."
  106.
  107. "The current Commander of the Fourfold is a Drakanite by the name of Arie Hon. I'll make sure to introduce you both, should we stumble upon him. And indeed, it will be a new experience."
  108.
  109. With that? Ikkaku turned, heading southwards. "Follow me. I'll walk you through the whole of Kogarashi, then we'll head to Tongy."
  110. (Ikkaku Ukitake)
