You'll need a journal, of course. We request that the journal not contain an excessive amount of extra letters, numbers, and no underscores. We require you to have an in character / spam post, an out of character contact post, and an information post about your character. For deities, the information post much include a short blurb about the character and information about the deities abilities. For humans, you need a short bio and personality blurb, which deity they follow, and how they came to follow said deity.<br><br>

To join, please place your hold <a href="http://neoolympus.insanejournal.com/609.html" style="color:#cc9933; text-decoration:none; font-weight:bold;" target="_blank">here</a> and fill out our <a href="http://neoolympus.insanejournal.com/1256.html" style="color:#cc9933; text-decoration:none; font-weight:bold;" target="_blank">application</a>. We request that all human characters, as well as all pbs, be at least 18 years of age. Please make sure your characters are +/- five years of the PB's actual age. The PB needs to be famous enough so that a simple Google search will provide some information / images of the person. PBs and characters will not be discriminated on due to ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation / identity, political opinions, etc.<<br><br>

Currently there is a no character limit. We simply require you to be active with all characters. If this becomes an issue, the mod team will implement a limit.</div><br></tr></td>

<tr><td width="650"  style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; box-shadow: 1px 1px 2px #ccc; border-bottom: 1px solid #85B057; padding: 8px;">Any and all deities from the Greek pantheon are up for grabs. We suggest using <a href="http://theoi.com/greek-mythology/greek-gods.html" style="color:#cc9933; text-decoration:none; font-weight:bold;" target="_blank">this site</a> as a resource for all your deity needs. There seems to be a recent fad of gender swapping the deities. Please note that this is not allowed and the deities need to be the gender they are canonically written as. We are aware that there are some deities who have been written as both male and female. With these deities, you can pick the gender you prefer to play them as.<br><br>

In general, all deities have the same physiology (super human strength, speed, stamina, etc; immune to all mortal diseases, poisons, and toxins; immortality, etc). However, each deity has specific specialities. You'll need to include a brief synopsis of what these special abilities are. There are also <i>no vessels</i>. These are gods. They don't need to take over a human body. They can create their own form.</div><br></tr></td>

Activity reminders will be posted in the ooc community starting mid-month. You are exempt from activity checks if you are on hiatus or were accepted on or after the 20th of the month. Removals will be done on the first add day of the month.<br><br>

In addition to keeping your friends list updated, you are required to submit one of the following for monthly activity:<br>

<b><font face="wingdings">Ø</font></b> A public entry (at least 200 words) with comments replied to.<br>
<b><font face="wingdings">Ø</font></b> Three Instagram/social media/interactive post, with comments replied to.<br>
<b><font face="wingdings">Ø</font></b> A private entry / narrative (at least 200 words).<br>
<b><font face="wingdings">Ø</font></b> A scene / thread (either public or open to the mod team) with at least 5 replies total.</blockquote>

If you're unable to meet activity for the month, please let us know at least a week prior to the end of the month. We can give you a three day extension or put you on a hiatus. Hiatuses last for no more than one month and can only be used once every three months, unless under extreme circumstances. If you are removed due to activity, we will allow you to reapply at the beginning of the next activity cycle. If you are removed a second time, you will be able to reapply, however you will be on a probation of sorts and must provide TWO forms of the above activity. If you are removed a third time, you will not be allowed to reapply with that character or characters.</div><br></tr></td>

If the mod team has proven that you are involved with either, your character(s) will be removed immediately and you will not be allowed, or welcome, back.<br><br>

We do request that all public posts that are NSFW are kept under tags with a warning. Don't want to be cruising the friend's page while working and stumble upon something inappropriate!<br><br>

All rules are subject to change at mod discretion. If there are any changes to the rules, the mod team will update the players via a post in the ooc community.
