- QUICK KILLS, SPEED STRATS, AND SKIPS
- General tips:
- - A light attack (tap regular attack button) deals 1x damage; a heavy attack (tap charge attack button) deals 2x damage; a fully charged heavy attack (hold charge attack button until you hear a ding and then release) deals 3x damage.
- - A roll-slash (roll and buffer the heavy attack button) deals 2x damage.
- - Deflected projectiles deal 2x the damage of the attack that deflected them.
- - There is a cooldown after three successive light attacks during which you cannot attack. So, the preferable regular damage rotations (when you have time to use them between enemy attacks) are heavy-light-light (HLL) or light-light-heavy-light-light.
- - A grunt at any stage of this run will die in one heavy attack and one light attack; this is preferable to three light attacks since the heavy will stun the grunt and prevent them from damaging you.

- DFS quick(est) kill
- - Stand at the bottom left of DFS and repeat HLL (heavy-light-light -- see General Tips above) damage rotation. You may need to adjust your position slightly to avoid vines as the fight goes on, but just keep up the HLL pattern and fight is basically over.

- - After the boomer hookshot skip and the first bombed wall, you may be able to hookshot across to the elite archer if he's positioned correctly (or pushed into the correct position by the archer or grunts). This is a matter of pure RNG and luck, so uh, yeah, good luck.

- - Proceed through Flooded Fortress as you would through a regular playthrough, past the bomb wall with the hammer bro, grunts, and archers leading to platforms with pink switches.
- - Once you reach the island with the pot in the middle of it, stand at the leftmost pillar (directly right of it, up against the edge of the platform).
- - Use your mouse (hold right click to aim, release to fire) and aim up at the left pink lobe of the pink switch to proc it.
- - Profit.

- Frog King fight
- - As soon as the Frog King text intro ends, roll behind Frog King and smack his butt.
- - Wait at the edge of a square until it shakes, then move just across the seam to the next square.
- - Light attack (L) as soon as Frog King flips his mace, then advance and hit again (to get all 3 hits for first phase in quickly).
- - Wait on second-from-the-bottom-square and charge a full heavy attack while Frog King gears up.
- - As soon as Frog King lands, release and do your regular HLL combos.
- - When Frog King is in the water bottom right, use bombs or fire to get damage (the latter can double hit).
- - Charge full heavy and release when Frog King turns around; use that to begin a HLL-HLLL combo.
- - Roll away and bomb Frog King's mouth when he opens it.
- - Keep up HLL damage throughout transition to Frog King in water up left.
- - When he's in water up left, use bombs or fire again.
- - When he turns around, keep up HLL damage while balancing on the top left ledge, shifting back and forth between Frog King's hands.
- - Ideally, he will die during this last phase.

- - After each of the arenas, there is a place to stand after dealing the requisite amount of damage to transition to the next phase of the gauntlet instantly as soon as Lord of Doors snaps their hand.
