Background: From the beginning, Jin was a really introverted and quiet kid. He lived in London, England. He was small so he was always able to fit inside cabinets and bags, not coming out until everyone was in bed or not at home. He hated being with people and school was a major social problem for him. At school, he wasn't much of a great student. He never said one word in class and would never speak when the teacher asked him to. Yes, he did get good grades, but his public speaking skills were down the drain. He wasn't close to anyone in his family and when his mother passed away, it wasn't a big deal to him. The reason why he's so distant from his family is because of his brother. They got along really well and were like best friends, until Jin opened up in his family. His parents thought that he was a freak and separated him from his brother. They just didn't want incest (like that was gonna happen). This social split effected Jin in various ways. Later on, on Jin's 19th birthday, Cheol (his brother) came home and "kidnapped" him. Now, they live together and Jin is slowly developing his social skills again.

Personality: An intelligent but slow introvert. He generally knows the answer to every question and is really good at giving advise. He is usually quiet in public and likes to be by himself, despite his longing for attention. He occasionally acts really cute with tone of aegyo when he's drunk and is super clingy. He's also a generally slow person. Anything he does is slow and he likes to take his time? Despite time being "precious". He is usually teased by his members and is actually close to them so he's open to them. He tends to complain about everything and always makes excuses. Whenever he consumes a piece of candy or something with sugar, he becomes extremely hyper and acts like a kid (just like how a maknae would). This is the reason why his members attempt to keep him away from candy and alcohol, but he loves wine for some reason.
