- 1. During a round of Ninja, you are faxed by Station Command inquiring about an “inspector” who claims to have been sent by the company to evaluate each of the station's departments. How do you respond, and why?
- LanzeToday at 14:40
- I'd respond with a fax, claiming that all NT assets are subject to regulatory and, sometimes, unannounced evaluations by both NT and independent, certified inspectors. They should be able to show some form of identification and/or authorization and the be supported or at least not hindered with their work. And, of course, show the station from it's best side.

- 2. During a round of Crossfire, you are faxed by Station Command about a team of mercenaries who have reported a band of pirates operating in the area. They wish to offer their services to the station as additional security. Command is asking you for your advice on the situation. How do you respond, and why?
- LanzeToday at 14:44
- I'd answer, that, due to the nature of the partially confidential work that is done on the Aurora, the ISD should be the first and foremost to ensure the safety of the station, they are both trained and equipped to handle all but the very worst situations. Employing freelancers to help out the ISD should be done in only the most dire situations. The ISD should be able to fend off some pirates.

- 3. You receive a fax from the NT liaison, who claims that the Captain has been abusing his authority by removing all of the vending machines from the station. How do you respond?
- LanzeToday at 14:47
- If the Captain is abusing his power and acting against station regulations and/or the the corporation's interests, the rest of command should hold a vote of distrust, as per regulations. To ensure a proper investigation into the matter is launched an IR should be filed afterwards, if necessary.

- 4. In your opinion, how much of a role should Central Command play in the affairs of the station? When is it appropriate for them to directly intervene, and how much should they attempt to shape the round when they do?
- LanzeToday at 14:51
- CC should, whenever possible answer faxes sent by the station - if a fax is sent then the crew needs or wants something and it can be critical to the progress of the round to receive an answer from CC. What shouldn't be done is interfering with regular station operations, CC is not to babysit the station or the crew. To put it short, CC should intervene, when asked (mostly by fax or EBS), though it is important to leave room for decisions and RP and not force the round into a certain direction.

- 5. What do you believe is the purpose of the Incident Report system
- LanzeToday at 14:54
- The IR system is to ensure, that IC actions can carry IC consequences. The Aurora and, by definition, the server in general is in a HRP environment. The IR system contributes to a believable work environment, being able to give weight to IC interactions between players.

- 6. In resolving an Incident Report, when should a character receive significant disciplinary action (such as a demotion), as opposed to a lighter response such as a warning or retraining? Under what circumstances would you consider terminating a character's employment?
- LanzeToday at 14:59
- Heavier punishments like a demotion, even if port temporary should be reserved to repeated offenders. Players, and their characters by extent, should receive light punishments first, to show them that, as I said before, IC actions can have consequences. But of course, it all should be put into perspective what the offense has been. Swiping tools, for example, is not a heavy offense, such as assault on a crewmember. Terminating a character's contract should always be the last possible stage of escalation. The character should have done such a serious offense, that a corporation could not justify to keep them employed any longer, for example a really extensive history of medium-heavy infractions or for example a deadly assault on a colleague, to name only one example
