- 2. Bladee - Drama
- Submitted by: mothy / 275 scrobbles
- Comment: it's been a while since I last enjoyed one of Bladee's recent releases but this one is has become one of my favorite Bladee songs of all time ! love the hook and the vocal melodies, the production is really good and it reminds me of some of his earlier stuff. :)
- 3. Sonnet Son - I'm Not A Warrior
- Submitted by: Bargot / 88 scrobbles
- Comment: Hi my name is Bargot and I am a Sonnet Simp.
- Last week I was watching some random kpop festival with friends, where an artist we didn't know (aka sonnet son) was gonna perform, and well, she performed this and I absolutely fell in love with it, so uh it became my nr 3 song of the month in a week :pepehat: (yes this an english song by a kpop artist)
- 4. GOT7 - Last Piece
- Submitted by: Chlo / 70 scrobbles
- Comment: This month's submission is not my top scrobbled, it's my 15th! The comeback that I've been waiting for since the first half of this year is finally here, released on 30 November. You are now listening to one of the two title tracks in GOT7's latest album, *Breath of Love: Last Piece* (the other being *Breath,* sitting at 2nd most scrobbled with 171 plays. It was released a week prior, on the 23rd)

- 5. Brothertiger - Prideland
- Submitted by: halo / 56 scrobbles
- Comment: Ok so I did say that my top track wouldn't be from Paradise Lost and it ISN'T!! (we were close, though) "Prideland" is my favourite Brothertiger song and brings me a lot of comfort so it came back for me this depressing and crazy azz November. You may have heard it before in a different server's top track of 2019 playlist............Everything about it is perfect, to me; John's voice sounds amazing, thematically it resonates with me at this time in my life and the trumpet at the end always takes me to a higher plane of existing. When A Chain Of Islands came out I was in the middle of a pretty difficult semester, but one where I made the decision to change the course of my education and essentially my life so there was always the undercurrent of hope. The b-side of the EP helped me the most ("Bottom of It" and "Prideland”). When John sings "I found life echoing / All the way back the past outrunning / When I drove down my old street / I knew I was finally closer" I just lose it tbh
- also once my sister said the intro of this sounds like Owl City - Fireflies and I hated her for that because she's right
- 6. Waylander - As the Sun Stands Still
- Submitted by: Agora#0443 / 53 scrobbles
- Comment: My original submission got removed from spotify which is great, so I'm going with my most scrobbled track, sorry to the people who were at the country random metal event on the red lfm server because this was my sub there but I really dig this song.
- 7. Depravity - Grand Malevolence
- Submitted by: ahcaw / 51 scrobbles
- Comment: Australia | Death Metal
- H E L P
- This is mindblowing track in this year
- 8. Sturle Dagsland - Kusanagi
- Submitted by: s1efan / 47 scrobbles
- Comment: I don't have much to say about this, I just played it a lot the day it was released, which is probably the reason it ended up as my top track of the month. Sturle is a relatively unknown avant-garde/experimental artist from Norway, I randomly found him around a year ago and fell in love. He doesn't have a lot of tracks, but they all have a similar vibe to this, if anyone wants to check them out :)
- 9. Dance Gavin Dance - Something New
- Submitted by: Three / 45 scrobbles
- Comment: *I’m gonna make it!*
- Meaning of this song really resonates with me, November had a lot of beginnings and endings in store, so it fit. I was hoping to have a non DGD song as my most scrobbled to give you guys a little bit of variety but here we are, again, lol
- 10. Fawn Limbs - Quiet Mongrel Caught in a Forest Fire
- Submitted by: somnam / 43 scrobbles
- Comment: their vocalist looks like a younger version of the dude from The Shining & their drummer had this to say about the EP release: _It's short, aggressive and heavy. Like ur mom._
- 11. VNV Nation - Arclight
- Submitted by: dream / 40 scrobbles
- Comment: The lyrics in this track pretty much sum it up - maybe a light at the end of the tunnel compared to last month. It's the last track on one of my favourite records to run to and comes on after I've done the 8km route; I always find myself putting it on repeat which must be to match the post workout endorphins.
- 12. D'Angelo - Spanish Joint
- Submitted by: Mez / 38 scrobbles
- Comment: Erase U was my most played song of the month, but since I already submitted that to a similarly themed playlist I subbed my second most played track. Enjoy some smooth ass soul courtesy Mez...
- 13. Jefre Cantu-Ledesma - Love's Refrain
- Submitted by: Rass / 29 scrobbles
- Comment: Grieving sucks. I usually confront it with a heavy dose of poker face and self restraint. Maybe it's the toxin masculinity and my upbringing as the eldest, y'know "you've got to look strong for your siblings" deal. Maybe I noticed the front my mum was having at my first memory of dealing with death, why wouldn't she cry when we are aware Grandpa is no longer with us and then found her later cried discreetly late at night? I understood why people do it, and you became desensitized for a while.
- The first time I've listened to this song, i was unaware of the power that this track possess. With the unassuming gorgeous shoe-gays riffs on the first half, then continues picking up the pace from the second part, ending it with a crescendo of noises for the rest of track. It caught me off-guard. I just froze still and then I finally let it go for seems like forever. It's petrifyingly cathartic, and every time you repeat it that split second of silence in the start gives you that perfect time to breathe in deeply, the one you badly sought right after you lost it. Because the higher you've build up that brick wall, the heavier it gets until it can no longer supports its own weight.
- That, or, y'know, probably get a better contractor.
- 2020 sucks, I think it goes without saying. But losing people that you cared about definitely made this year takes the cake for being an absolute worst. Here's for 2021, at least we'll be ready.
- 14. Dalmatian - Pain Threshold

- Comment: Kris Esfandiari's (Miserable, King Women, etcetc) rap side project.
- I love her indifferent, lethargic, IDGAF voice in this song :sunglasses: because relatable.
- 15. Ex:Re - Too Sad
- Submitted by: sprung / 23 scrobbles
- Comment: This song wasn't my favourite or most played song of the month, but I think it's the most representative of the whole month. My November mostly consisted of Hip Hop (Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller) but also sadder music (I know... crazy!) or experimental like Eartheater, who actually is my most played artist this month with 282 plays.
- This is an awesome song from an awesome album so enjoy :D
- 16. Djevel - Det Eders Herre Lover Er Mer Enn Hva Mennisket Taaler
- Submitted by: deathconscious / 19 scrobbles
- Comment: So as it ended up, my #1 track is too long to be submitted (11 minutes) and my #2 track is not on Spotify, so here goes my #3, which just as the #1, is by the band Djevel - my favourite discovery during my BM phase that is still ongoing. It serves me well when I'm busy with writing stuff for uni and be motivated (kinda). And as November is my last full month in Norway (leaving on 20th Dec), it feels only right to submit "true norwegian black metal". Also, this is probably the first month where my top track is over 10 minutes long and it is not a post-rock song.
- My top 5 of November 2020 includes:
- 1. Djevel - Illoeygd Foedt Som Satans Barn, Paa Ferd Uden Spor Af Menneskeverd (22)
- 2. Nicole Dollanganger - Beautiful and Bad (20)
- 3. Djevel - Det Eders Herre Lover Er Mer Enn Hva Mennisket Taaler (19)
- 3. Misþyrming - Söngur heiftar
- 5. Nicole Dollanganger - Tammy Faye (18)
- 17. Methyl Ethel - Twilight Driving
- Submitted by: Henkhaarbal / 19 scrobbles
- Comment: just enjoy this song a lot :)
- 18. Swervy - ART GANG MONEY
- Submitted by: you gotta fish for Pingu / 16 scrobbles
- Comment: Thanks sebekulten for the rec, her album got quite a few scrobs too
- 2020-12-04 update: This whole thing got me back to Korean Hip Hop/Trap in the last few days, revisiting a lot of artists I found earlier already + a lot of new shit... But there's only so many, I feel like I've *seen* every name in the Korean underground rap scene already :hidethepain:
- 19. Harry Nilsson - Everybody's Talkin'

- 21. Miley Cyrus & Dua Lipa - Prisoner
- Submitted by: verajune / 11 scrobbles
- Comment: It's rare that a pop song ever tops my charts but this song slays me. Don't pretend you don't love it <3
- 22. Victoria Monet - Jaguar
- Submitted by: sebekulten#2281 / 6 scrobbles
- Comment: Technically, it's not my most scrobbled song of the month (which was the initial submission, had to change it), but pretty sure it's my favourite discovery this month that is shareable to most people and fits the scheme of the playlist. Nothing to add more really, from the lush arrangements to the extremely addictive melodic refrain of the chorus, Jaguar is one mesmerising R&B track.
- 23. Palm Reader - A Lover, a Shadow
- Submitted by: Diarrhea / 2 scrobbles
- Comment: I hope this song being the last in a probably super long playlist at the end of a stacked week of playlist isn't too hard on your ears and induce you into a boredom induced music coma.
- Anyway, I can't loop for shit so here's a song I've enjoyed the past month. It's... a good song.
