  2. [15:57] <Kilarra> ~~~Chapter 3: The Armageddon Echo~~~
  3. [16:00] <Kilarra> -Session 45-
  4. [16:01] <Kilarra> The party has just manage to unseat a squad of drow that were using a Balista to pin down the group of elves under Captain Kaerishiel. Not only did they manage to prevent the drow from using this weapon on a valuable elven commander, they also opened up the ability for the elves to use it for their own.
  5. [16:26] * Kilarra checks the drow over for more of those alchemical bolts. Once she took care of that, she would be more than ready to go check on the elves they rescued. The other elves she knew hadn't been as opposed to their presence, but the look on that snooty captain's face would be so delightful.
  6. [16:27] * Aluthyra looks about the bodies and area as well, searching for anything of note
  7. [16:28] <Kilarra> The gear on the drow is fairly mundane aside from their ammunition, these were just rank and file troops. Although each of the four skirmishers has cure light, while the two bulkier soldiers have potions of cure moderate
  8. [16:33] * Aluthyra passes a potion of cure light out to everyone, and gives Kjell the other moderate potion, since he and Aluthyra are the most often on the front line.
  9. [16:33] <Kilarra> KJell nods and slips them into his packs
  10. [16:35] * Kilarra finishes stuffing the drow quivers into her packs and makes sure her own has her usual loadout before leaving the drow corpses. "We wanna break this thing before we leave, or just leave it?" she gestures to the Balista.
  11. [16:36] * Aluthyra shakes her head. "I am sure that Kaerishiel would like to make use of it. At the very least, we should offer it up to the elves as a resource, even if they decide to break it."
  12. [16:38] * Kilarra nods, "Alright."
  13. [16:39] <Kilarra> Kjell gestures to the case of balista bolts, "That said, it might be wise to confiscate those in case the drow come back before the elves can secure this weapon."
  14. [16:39] * Aluthyra nods, eyeing the bolts, wondering how heavy they are...
  15. [16:42] <Kilarra> Kjell shrugs and picks up the box. He could handle it if they couldn't/
  16. [16:43] * Kilarra takes a moment to examine the Balista. "It's kinda like a giant crossbow." She puts the safety pin in, then caefully removes the loaded bolt, examining it. "I think these things are alchemical too. They look like giant versions of the crossbow bolts that I've been looting that go up in flames."
  17. [16:44] * Kilarra frowns, "These things are heavy."
  18. [16:44] * Kilarra passes the bolt to Kjell.
  19. [16:44] * Aluthyra nods. "I can help carry them, if you wish, Kjell."
  20. [16:45] <Kilarra> Kjell frowns, "Indeed; heavier than I suspected. Perhaps we should simply leave them for now, and ask Kaerishiel what he wants to do. Provided our endeavours have made him more cooperative."
  21. [16:46] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods. "Let's just hurry so the drow can't regroup here."
  22. [16:47] * Kilarra nods and heads downstairs first, eager to see the look on Kaerishiel's face. That was the personal touch she had been missing, and although it wasn't violent, it would certainly be a juicy payback.
  23. [16:48] * Aluthyra follows quickly after Kilarra, with Tognik behind.
  24. [16:48] <Kilarra> Kjell follows, sheathing his sword but keeping his spell arm up.
  25. [16:49] <Kilarra> At the partly collapsed tower, within which the elves had been pinned, a pair of them are looking out through one of the holes in the wall to see what had caused the lull. They look surprised to see the party, but also very much relieved.
  26. [16:51] * Aluthyra waves, approaching the entrance to the ruined tower. She calls out to them, "All is safe. The drow have been taken care of."
  27. [16:54] <Kilarra> The elves nod, and one of them speaks up; "You have our most sincere thanks. Captain Kaerishiel and our other two companions were stricken with that drow poison, and are not presenly conscious."
  28. [16:54] * Aluthyra raises an eyebrow at Kilarra. "Would you have a spell to assist with that?"
  29. [16:55] * Kilarra frowns, "Well, that's no good." She didn't really care about anything other than seeing Kaerishiel's expression, and now it seemed it would be all the sweeter if he awoke to see them having treated him too. "As a matter of fact, I do. I've only got one though, so you're probably gonna have to carry the other two back." She smirks.
  30. [16:56] * Kilarra glances to Tognik, "They look rough, touch them up while I tend to the oh so superior sleeping captain."
  31. [16:56] * Aluthyra shrugs. "That will work then. The more able-bodied we can escort back to camp, the better."
  32. [16:57] <Kilarra> She is led by one of the elves behind an interior wall, where Kaerishiel and his two elves have been placed to keep them covered.
  33. [16:57] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods, looking to see how many elves there are that need healing.
  34. [16:57] <Kilarra> There are two elves conscious and two unconscious from poison.
  35. [16:57] <Kilarra> Plus Kaerishiel himself
  36. [16:58] <Aluthyra> Tognik frowns. He'd need to buy a new wand soon. He starts to make his rounds, healing each elf.
  37. [17:01] * Kilarra drinks a potion of Cure Light before kneeling over Kaerishiel. She wanted her face to be the first thing he saw.
  38. [17:05] * Kilarra places a hand on Kaerishiel's chest and a pinch of charcoal, rubbing it in her free hand as her casting hand glows.
  39. [17:06] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel's eyes open slowly as the poison is flushed form his system
  40. [17:06] <Kilarra> He stares at Kilarra incredulously.
  41. [17:06] <Aluthyra> Tognik watches for the reaction.
  42. [17:12] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel just blinks at the goup, "You? You are the ones sent to our aid?" His look is priceless
  43. [17:12] * Kilarra squees internally. That's what she's talking about. "Yes. Welcome back to the land of the conscious, sleeping beauty. Thought you elves didn't need to nap."
  44. [17:14] <Aluthyra> Tognik snorts. "The drow have been taking care of for you, while you were napping."
  45. [17:14] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel nods slowly, as though in disbelief. "I see... what of their seige weapon?"
  46. [17:15] * Aluthyra smiles. "It is undamaged, if you wish to make use of it."
  47. [17:16] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel nods, then looks to the remaining unconscious elves. "Can you treat them as well?"
  48. [17:20] <Aluthyra> Tognik shakes his head. "Not me, and Kilarra... only one, which is you."
  49. [17:22] * Kilarra smirks, "True, I only prepared the spell once today, but as luck would have it, I've got a potion confiscated from a drow cleric a while back." She glances to Aluthyra's quiver. "It's yours if you relieve the lady of her arrow shortage."
  50. [17:24] * Aluthyra blinks, smiling lightly. "If you could, arrows would be appreciated..."
  51. [17:25] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel simply nods and plucks a quiver from one of his unconscious men and passes it to her.
  52. [17:25] * Aluthyra checks how many arrows are in the quiver.
  53. [17:25] * Aluthyra nods to Kaerishiel. "Thank you."
  54. [17:26] * Kilarra smirks, it was rather satisfying to have the elf doing her favours. She kinda wanted to milk it, but she had gotten what she wanted most. She fishes out the potion and hands it to him before standing up.
  55. [17:27] * Aluthyra passes the quiver back, leaving the flaming arrows and signal arrows within. "I will leave you with those. I only need the mundane."
  56. [17:29] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel feeds the potion to his elf, who wakes up, then motions to his remaining companions. "We'll have to carry him back for treatment. You two carry him, she and I will keep you covered." He takes the arrows back and nods, "As you wish." He gets up, drawing his own bow, motioning for his companions to follow. As they are about to leave, he glances back at the group. "Thank you," he says, although its clearly a bit begrudged.
  57. [17:30] * Aluthyra nods with a faint smirk. "It is no problem."
  58. [17:30] * Kilarra grins a touch wickedly as they leave, "That was so very satisfying."
  59. [17:31] <Kilarra> Kjell chuckles, "I'll admit, it'd be nice if he gained a bit of humility from this."
  60. [17:33] * Aluthyra nods. "Indeed." She looks to her companions. "So, shall we continue? Perhaps find more elves in need of assistance?"
  61. [17:35] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods, heading out. "Let's."
  62. [17:37] <Kilarra> When Tognik steps out of the ruined tower, he can hear a faint sound, like a child sobbing. Its very faint, difficult to tell if he actually heard anything at all.
  63. [17:39] <Aluthyra> Tognik blinks, frowning. "Someone... crying?" he mumbles, trying to listen carefully, stopping in his tracks.
  64. [17:40] * Kilarra follows Tognik out, taking a moment to seat herself on a bit of rubble, stretching out her hooves. She blinks as Tognik speaks, "Say what?"
  65. [17:41] <Kilarra> Tognik can hear the sound again, coming from north of their position.
  66. [17:42] <Aluthyra> Tognik shakes his head. "I can hear something, like a child crying..." He motions for his companions to follow, moving towards the sound.
  67. [17:42] * Aluthyra frowns. A child, in this place? She takes out her bow, following along quickly.
  68. [17:44] * Kilarra forwns, "How in the abyss..." She brings out her crossbow. Children didn't just wander around ruined cities... did they? Her own childhood had been spent in an old, ruined dungeon, so what did she know?
  69. [17:46] <Kilarra> North of the ruined tower, across one of the overgrown streets of Celwynvian, a half collapsed building can be seen. It had a peaked roof and sloping sides. The ruin to parts of the building is oddly uniform, as though some large creature had simply walked right through it.
  70. [17:47] * Kilarra attempts to hear the sound, but can't make anything out. "Are you sure you're not just hearing things tognik?"
  71. [17:47] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods, trying to listen again.
  72. [17:48] <Kilarra> The sound is definitely coming from within that building, the cries tiny and wimpering.
  73. [17:48] <Aluthyra> Tognik frowns. "Yes. I'm sure. I hear crying."
  74. [17:49] * Aluthyra nods. "Then let's move. If there's a child here... we need to get to them."
  75. [17:49] * Kilarra doesn't like this. She couldn't hear anything, and in ruins like this it was almost certain that some foul creature was attempting to lure them. Still, if that was the case, they could just kill it and save anyone else the trouble.
  76. [17:50] <Aluthyra> Tognik continues, following the sound's trail.
  77. [17:50] * Aluthyra stays by Tognik's side, just in case something jumped out at him.
  78. [17:56] <Kilarra> The building in question doesn't take too long to reach, only a few minutes away from the ruined tower. The ruined parts allow for looking inside, and a double door is hanging off its hinges.
  79. [17:58] * Kilarra keeps her crossbow level as they approach the building. "What kinda place is... or rather, was this, do you think?"
  80. [17:58] * Aluthyra shakes her head, examining the building. "I am not sure..."
  81. [17:59] <Kilarra> The room that has been broken open actually features a number of small tables and chairs, with a larger desk near the back broken into large chunks, and a cracked drawing board behind it.
  82. [18:01] <Kilarra> Kjell nods, "This looks like it used to be a classroom."
  83. [18:02] * Aluthyra frowns, looking around.
  84. [18:03] <Aluthyra> Tognik tries to listen for the crying.
  85. [18:03] * Kilarra looks around, "Not much of one, at least not anymore." She waits for Tognik or ALuthyra, who had superior senses, to point them to the source of the noise.
  86. [18:03] <Kilarra> Both Aluthyra and Tognik can hear the sobbing sounds coming from a few rooms over
  87. [18:04] * Aluthyra nods. "I can hear it as well." She shakes her head. "Crying a few rooms over. Let's find the child quickly."
  88. [18:04] * Aluthyra continues forward, wanting to reach the child.
  89. [18:05] <Kilarra> However, rather than the single source of sobbing, it now sounds like a chorus of sobs, singing, and birds chirping, in more than one language, including common and elven.
  90. [18:06] <Kilarra> Aluthyra and Tognik can follow the sounds down a hallway to another classroom, the door shut, although its window was shattered. The sounds are coming from within.
  91. [18:06] <Aluthyra> Tognik blinks, confusion written on his face. "Odd..."
  92. [18:06] * Aluthyra tries to push-- or pull-- the door open.
  93. [18:06] * Kilarra can now hear the chorus of sobs. She blinks, looking confused more than anything, "It can't be..." She waits for Aluthyra and Tognik to open the door and take a look, but her crossbow actually lowers a few degrees.
  94. [18:08] <Kilarra> The door pulls outwards, and actually buckles its bottom hinge as it comes loose. Inside the room, more charred desks and small tables. Away in the corner opposite the door, the source of the sobbing cna be made out. Something small and curled up, partially hidden by what is presumably the instructor's desk.
  95. [18:10] <Kilarra> The sound of the sobbing chorus fills the room, and anyone who steps inside begins to feel a bit weary and forlorn, as though deeply saddened.
  96. [18:10] <Kilarra> Or at the very least, unnerved
  97. [18:11] * Aluthyra blinks, lowering her bow. "What..." She starts to approach the form, dropping her bow.
  98. [18:11] <Aluthyra> Tognik stays back, disturbed by the chorus.
  99. [18:12] * Kilarra steps in as well, her crossbow lowered. The look on her face is difficult to discern. A mix of confusion, surprise, sadness and curiosity.
  100. [18:13] * Kilarra moves around the desk, wanting to confirm her suspicions.
  101. [18:14] * Aluthyra lets Kilarra get closer, moving up from behind her.
  102. [18:15] <Kilarra> Hidden in the corner behind the desk, is the form of a skeletal child, the skull of a baby bird where a head should have been, a blanket of dry, dead leaves forming a makeshift garment. It looks up as it notices company. The bird skull is expressionless and unreadable.
  103. [18:16] * Kilarra freezes in place. It was. It really should have come as no surprise to her. This city was abandoned millenia ago during a time of catastrophe. Of course there would be those who were left behind or that could not escape.
  104. [18:16] * Aluthyra quirks her head, frowning. "Kilarra, what.... is it a child?"
  105. [18:17] * Kilarra just gapes at it for a while.
  106. [18:17] * Aluthyra nudges Kilarra.
  107. [18:18] <Kilarra> The skeletal child stands up, the chorus of sobs and singing ceasing for a moment. It looks at the two of them. Were they playmates? It hadn't seen anyone in a great long while, and reaches a bony hand, also seemingly made of the tiny bones of dead animals, or perhaps a small child, towards them.
  108. [18:19] <Kilarra> Kjell steps in, "What is it, what's going-" He stops when he sees the undead creature, reaching for his sword.
  109. [18:20] <Kilarra> The Whisperer sees this gesture, and immediately the chorus of chirping, singing and sobbing starts up again.
  110. [18:20] * Aluthyra isn't so sure about this... child? She turns and scowls at Kjell. "Stop."
  111. [18:21] * Kilarra steps between Kjell and the creature, "Wait!" She kneels down to its level, extending a hand towards it.
  112. [18:22] <Kilarra> Kjell blinks, letting go of the hilt of his sword. "What on Golarion is it?"
  113. [18:22] <Kilarra> The creature takes a few steps towards Kilarra and touches her hand. Kilarra feels a bit of a chill.
  114. [18:23] * Kilarra shudders a bit, but is fine. She knew what this creature was. "You like to sing I take it?"
  115. [18:24] <Kilarra> The undead child has no eyes to blink, but tilts its head. The sound of sobs dies out, leaving the bird chirping and elven singing.
  116. [18:25] * Kjell looks to Tognik and raises an eyebrow, not saying anything, and looking confused.
  117. [18:25] * Aluthyra looks with confusion.
  118. [18:26] * Kilarra continues, "This school... did they teach you music here?"
  119. [18:27] <Kilarra> The creature pulls its hand back, reaching into its blanket of leaves. It pulls out an old wooden flute, sized for a child.
  120. [18:27] <Aluthyra> Tognik also speaks elvish. He listens, figuring out what the child sang.
  121. [18:29] * Kilarra sighs and nods, "I see. I'm afraid I'm not very good. If you like, I might be able to send you back to your classmates, or maybe your parents. I'm sure its lonely here by yourself."
  122. [18:30] <Kilarra> The creature raises the flute to the beak of its bird skull, but has no breath to play it with. The sobs return and the elvish singing fades.
  123. [18:31] * Aluthyra grimaces, feeling a strong twinge of sympathy for the child.
  124. [18:31] * Kilarra sighs. This next part was always the worst. She holds out her hand again.
  125. [18:31] <Kilarra> The whisperer grasps it.
  126. [18:32] * Kilarra feels that rush of chill again. Crap, she thought she was resilient to it. She says nothing, but channels positive energy through her hand directly into the undead child
  127. [18:35] <Kilarra> As the undead child's bones begin to crumble to dust, Kilarra's voice is heard clearly coming from it, speaking in plain common. "Goodbye lady." The blanket of leaves scatters and the bird skull and flute clatter to the floor.
  128. [18:35] * Aluthyra frowns. "The poor thing.... what exactly was that, Kilarra?"
  129. [18:36] * Kilarra opens her mouth as though to speak, but no sound comes out. She frowns. She knew holding its hand wasn't exactly a bright idea, but she wasn't about to not do it after extending that courtesy to the others before. She picks up the flute and pockets it, then steps outside without a word.
  130. [18:38] * Aluthyra looks at Kilarra with concern, following her out.
  131. [18:38] <Aluthyra> Tognik casts a glance to the bone dust before following behind.
  132. [18:39] <Kilarra> Kjell just looks confused. WHat exactly had they witnessed?
  133. [18:40] * Kilarra seats herself outside the school house, looking up to the sky. It would be an hour before she had her voice back. Plenty of time to think, but probably not the best idea to start wandering around, considering she needed her voice for most of her spells.
  134. [18:40] * Aluthyra isn't sure herself, and Kilarra's silence isn't helping. She nudges Kilarra again, raising an eyebrow.
  135. [18:40] * Kilarra looks to ALuthyra, her eyes tearing up. She looks away to hide her tears, then points to her throat. She makes a zipping motion across her lips.
  136. [18:44] * Aluthyra blinks. "You cannot... speak?" She frowns, her hand gently bringing Kilarra's head to look to her own. She smiles lightly, bringing a finger up to wipe away Kilarra's tears.
  137. [18:45] * Kilarra lets out a breathy sigh, then pulls out the flute. She brings it to her lips and blows a note. The flute still works, although Kilarra has no knowledge of how to play it.
  138. [18:47] * Aluthyra smiles. It isn't the best playing, but she can't play well either.
  139. [18:48] * Aluthyra asks, "You seemed like you recognized the child... you've seen something like that before?"
  140. [18:51] * Kilarra puts the flute away and nods.
  141. [18:54] * Aluthyra nods. "I wish you could speak so I could ask you more..." She sighs. "And it caused your silence?"
  142. [18:54] * Kilarra nods, then holds up a single finger.
  143. [18:56] * Aluthyra quirks her head. "One... day, hour, or... another amount?" She nods. "One, two, or three."
  144. [18:56] * Kilarra holds up two fingers, hoping to indicate the second option.
  145. [18:58] * Aluthyra nods. "I see..." She looks to the sky, trying to discern the approximate time.
  146. [18:59] <Kilarra> Between the Necromancers, the graveyard, the besieged tower and now the undead schoolchild, they had eaten up most of the day.
  147. [18:59] <Kilarra> It's late afternoon
  148. [19:01] * Kilarra taps a hoof. She hated waiting, but she really didn't have any other choice without the ability to speak. Kjell approaches Aluthyra, "She's been awfully quiet. What was that thing anyways?"
  149. [19:02] * Aluthyra shrugs. "Perhaps we should return to camp. And I do not know, but whatever it is, it silenced Kilarra."
  150. [19:03] <Kilarra> Kjell frowns, "Then why on Golarion did she hold its hand?"
  151. [19:03] * Kilarra looks to Kjell with a snort. He knew nothing.
  152. [19:05] * Aluthyra shrugs. "Whatever the case, without a cleric to heal us, we should return to camp."
  153. [19:06] <Kilarra> Kjell nods, "I suppose we can make do with potions for the trip back then."
  154. [19:07] * Kilarra sighs and stands up, bringing her crossbow back out. She could for hurting something. Hurting something was nice and easy and not painful or remindful.
  155. [19:09] <Kilarra> As they proceed back through Celwynvian towards the camp, a cry for help comes from within a building as they pass by.
  156. [19:12] * Aluthyra turns towards the cry, bringing her bow up. She frowns. "Someone needs help. Let's move."
  157. [19:13] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods. Not wanting to get caught in the line of fire, he follows sneakily. Or at least attempts to.
  158. [19:13] * Aluthyra continues towards the buildings .
  159. [19:14] <Kilarra> WHen ALuthyra reaches the building in question, she finds it completely vacant.
  160. [19:15] * Aluthyra frowns, looking for any signs of an elf, or person... "Tognik, help me look around."
  161. [19:15] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods, activating his wand of detect secret doors!
  162. [19:16] <Aluthyra> He looks about.
  163. [19:17] <Kilarra> There are no signs of struggle or conflict, the building is simply void of anything
  164. [19:19] * Aluthyra listens, trying to hear anything that might indicate a need for help...
  165. [19:20] <Kilarra> No further sounds or cries for help. Simply nothing
  166. [19:20] * Kilarra jsut looks confused
  167. [19:21] * Aluthyra sighs. "Alright... then, back to camp..."
  168. [19:22] <Kilarra> Kjell frowns, "These ruins are strange places. Cries from no one and children made of bird bones."
  169. [19:23] <Kilarra> The rest of the trip back to camp is uneventful. Kilarra feels her throat warm up a bit as they return
  170. [19:24] <Aluthyra> Tognik shivers. "Let's just get out of here."
  171. [19:24] * Kilarra tests it out, "Lalala... okay, I'm vocal again." She then slips her tail around Aluthyra, "Come with me." She guides the Aasimar in the direction of their tent.
  172. [19:25] * Aluthyra blinks, blushing slightly, but follows.
  173. [19:25] <Aluthyra> Tognik chuckles, heading to his and Kjell's tent.
  174. [19:30] <Kilarra> Kjell goes to get some food for them
  175. [19:30] * Kilarra enters the tent, but keeps her clothes on. For now anyways. She seats herself and pulls out the flute, just looking at it for a little while.
  176. [19:33] * Aluthyra sits next to Kilarra. She looks to the flute, then to Kilarra. "What... exactly happened? To that child?"
  177. [19:37] * Kilarra grasps the flute a bit tightly. "It's called an attic whisperer. They're not typically the product of necromancy. Most times they're a child that died alone, afraid or abandoned. I imagine that one got left behind when this city was evacuated."
  178. [19:38] * Aluthyra wraps an arm around Kilarra's waist, hugging her lightly. "I see... And, you have seen one before?"
  179. [19:38] * Kilarra nods, "Five now. Two in Riddleport over the years, this one and... my old playmates."
  180. [19:40] * Aluthyra raises an eyebrow. "Your playmates?"
  181. [19:46] * Kilarra looks away, clutching the flute more tightly now, "Yes. When I was really little. Like, eighty years ago. My mother, like I told you, was a necromancer. She made a pair of them to act as playmates and protectors, and to keep me out of her hair while she worked."
  182. [19:48] * Aluthyra nods, frowning sympathetically. "I am sorry... And then that is why you wished to be the first to that necromancer..." She sighs. "I should have known, maybe let you have your peace."
  183. [19:50] * Kilarra shakes her head, "Nah, I thought that at first too, but after I killed the apprentice, it didn't feel very... satisfying. It lacked a personal touch. Pretty much my whole life has been devoted to revenge against my mother since I was old enough to understand the concept."
  184. [19:53] * Aluthyra nods. "Then closure is what you seek? Or to forget?" She quirks her head. "Revenge no longer?"
  185. [19:57] * Kilarra shakes her head, "Revenge. Plain and simple. She tried to kill me, and I intend to return the favour."
  186. [20:00] * Aluthyra nods. "Understandable, after all that you have been through..." She frowns. "What else did... she put you through?"
  187. [20:02] * Kilarra takes off her top, then directs Aluthyra's attention to the scar she would have seen earlier. "This is where she stabbed me as part of a ritual. I was raised mainly to be the sacrifice for her supposedly ultimate triumph. I don't know all the details, but I'm told she was planning to raise an army of the dead."
  188. [20:03] * Aluthyra frowns, shaking her head in disgust. "That is awful..." She nods. "I promise you, that I will help you, if you'd allow me, in your revenge."
  189. [20:08] * Kilarra nods, leaving her top off. "I got lucky. Some adventurers busted in and disrupted the ritual. Their cleric saved my life, and they took me back to Riddleport. I think my father was killed during that incident, but my mother i know got away, and I'm damn sure that by now she's made a Lich of herself."
  190. [20:10] * Aluthyra nods. "When this is all over then... we'll find her." She raises an eyebrow. "Together?"
  191. [20:11] * Kilarra smirks, "Some company would be lovely, but Liches are nasty. The main reason why I became a cleric was so that I would have the proper powers to deal with powerful undead creatures."
  192. [20:13] * Aluthyra shrugs. "I have confidence that we would be able to handle it. I am sure... that Kjell and Tognik might help as well."
  193. [20:14] * Kilarra nods, "I'd need a meat shield to deal with whatever she'd have cooked up anyways." She then grins and wraps her tail around Aluthyra's waist, pulling her close and bringing her head down for a kiss. A much more intense one than the few brief exchanges thus far, showing off some of her tongue skills.
  194. [20:16] * Aluthyra blushes brightly, her eyes closing as she leans into the kiss. Her own tongue-work is inexperienced, but... she tries.
  195. [20:17] * Kilarra can tell the amateurish tonguework, but the aasimar's strange yet delightful taste more than made up for it.
  196. [20:18] * Kilarra also takes Aluthyra's right hand and places it on her left breast, having never put her top back on after showing her scar.
  197. [20:21] * Aluthyra moans in the kiss. She's slightly startled as her hand is placed onto Kilarra's breast. A new feeling, for sure. She rubs her fingers along Kilarra's skin, feeling lower... until she rubs her thumb against Kilarra's nipple.
  198. [20:22] * Aluthyra leans further in, kissing Kilarra deeply, trying to improve her own tongue skills.
  199. [20:23] * Kilarra breaks the kiss, moaning a bit as she leans back, "By Calistria, you are so delicious." She licks her lips, savouring the taste. She smiles as Aluthyra rubs her breast, "Does this mean you're tired of waiting as well? Or shall we leave it at the petting?"
  200. [20:24] * Kilarra 's bust is rather small, so the taller woman can probably, if she wishes, cup the whole breast with one hand.
  201. [20:25] * Aluthyra blushes, biting her lip. She pulls her hand away, looking down. "I-I... am not sure."
  202. [20:26] * Kilarra smiles, "Well, you already know how I feel, but I'm not gonna lose a wonderful lady like you by forcing it." She smirks, "At least, not until I've warmed you up with some lighter stuff." She licks her lips.
  203. [20:28] * Aluthyra clears her throat. "Maybe... soon, but... we should rest. The battle is n-not yet won." she nods, saying this a bit shakily. She seems hesitant to divulge her desire.
  204. [20:38] * TenMihara leans in towards Aluthyra, "Or... is it maybe you're afraid I won't be impressed with what you have to offer?"
  205. [20:39] * Aluthyra frowns. She nods slowly. "I'm... this is all new. I don't want to disappoint you..."
  206. [20:39] * Kilarra does that
  207. [20:40] * Kilarra rolls her eyes, "Please, I was raised in a brothel. That means I know more, but that doesn't have anything to do with what I like. Trust me, who you're with matters a hell of a lot more than what precisely you do with them. Besides, I know you can't lie to me anyways." She winks. "You do want it, don't you?"
  208. [20:41] * Aluthyra blushes brightly. "I do. Yes."
  209. [20:47] * Kilarra smirks and gives Aluthyra a soft kiss, "Then I've got no problem giving it to you. I had always planned to take it slow at first anyways. Like I had before with new inductees under Shorafa. I know the ropes, and how people learn them." She smirks mischeviously.
  210. [20:48] * Aluthyra smiles lightly. "Shall we get something to eat?"
  211. [20:54] * Kilarra nods and slips her top back on. "One of these days I'm actually going to get to make dessert out of you." She licks her lips. "I imagine there will be a feast some kind after we win this thing, so that'll be perfect."
  212. [20:57] * Aluthyra coughs, covering her embarrassment as she stands. She offers Kilarra a hand, then proceeds to find some food!
  213. [21:04] * Kilarra stands up, looking pleased with herself. She keeps hold of Aluthyra's hand, enjoying the contact, even if she was waiting for the best part. She slips her tail around Aluthyra's bare midriff.
  214. [21:12] * Aluthyra smiles, walking with Kilarra to eat. Afterwards, she heads back to her tent for rest. Keeping her desires in check, for now...
  215. [21:15] * Kilarra is slightly disappointed, but is a little perplexed herself. For a woman who was so used to physical intimacy, emotional intimacy was something she had never dealt with before. Yet thrice now she had bared her innermost self to the Aasimar. Was it some special power of theirs, or was it just her specifically?
