  3. Neuralcam is genius. the price is not indicative of the performance. Image brightness blows way past the highest ISO my iphone Xr can muster yet replicates the clarity and crispness of the lowest ISO. Absolutely amazing and I cannot think of any reason you’d not want this for (at least) scouting a night shoot. Bravo, Halcyon.

  21. App does a great job in low-light situations, adding vibrant color and an “HDR” effect. It all depends on the subject though. Made an early-morning sunrise look vibrant and beautiful! I’ve found no (iPhone) app that can take a suitable photo of a bright moon. NeuralCam is lots of fun just snapping photos of objects in low-light/almost-dark situations and seeing what it can do. Absolutely worth the small purchase price and highly recommended!

  51. I was surprised. Tried it with my iPhone SE and was surprised of the results: big difference in night photos compared to the native app. Perfect for this phone which has a weaker camera.
  52.
  53. I did not try other similar apps so I could not compare with others but still pleased with the results.

  59. So impressive. Takes light visually readable pictures in the dark or with dark elements. And the results are real, not artificially lightened with “brightness”. This is one of those rare, excellent and super performing apps.

  77. I'm still doing tests in different conditions. The results seem interesting and not the usual fake apps: there is certainly a good job behind it. I'm still doing some real-world test. Seems nice and photos are really improved (not many useless apps in the store for low light).

  89. Honestly? Some people believe this $2.99 app is a "waste of money"? Guess they were born yesterday, as I paid over $3800.00 three years ago for a DSLR, fast lens and tirpod to capture relatively noise free night shots. No, the iPhone and sofware still can't match that level, but WOW…the HAND HELD results from this app have thus far blown me away, and have yet to use a tripod. So I'll second another reviewers' claim that NeuralCam Night Camera is "absolutley worth $2.99." Thank you for developing this amazing app, and charging such a reasonable price! It's developers like you that continue to make the iOS platform so enjoyable and exciting, allowing us to achieve results not dreamed of three years ago.

  95. Dont understand the negative reviews, this is a standout 5⭐️ app. Blows the regular camera out of the park for night shots, I have had nothing but awesome results. I have £10K of DSLR lenses and body but never take them out due to the power of iPhone and computational apps these days, this is the pivot point. Genuinely impressed, no brainer.

  101. This review will sound negative in the beginning but it isn’t, I am a fan of this app.
  102.
  103. I am sure there are dozens if not more camera apps that will allow a user to adjust the aperture, shutter speed and ISO of the iPhone camera. I probably have 3-4 on my phone right now. All of those apps make this app completely unnecessary.
  104.
  105. That said, I rarely want to take the time to do that on my iPhone. That is what I have an expensive DSLR for.
  106.
  107. So if I have apps that do what this app does and I have a DSLR that does what this app does, why do I really like this app?
  108.
  109. Cause it is simple and it works. I bought this app this morning and then my family and I visited 2 museums that did not allow flash photography. These weren’t pitch black museums but they needed a flash. It was so nice to open this app and take a picture and have the app work each and every time. And for me, what was impressive was that the light was very well balanced with no bright spots or over-dark shadows and the contrast had sufficient range as well.
  110.
  111. Now I admit I have not blown these up yet in Photoshop and examined them at 300% but if you want a low light app that will extend the range of your iPhone without you having to think or take a test shot or two, spend the $2.99, it is more than worth it.

  129. For the price it has, the truth is that it improves a lot, it takes 3 pictures in a row and processes, the result is very good. If I recommend it, for € 3.50 it has good photos in low light.

  177. I’m a professional photographer and an iPhone user. I don’t always have my professional gear with me. Taking iPhone photos in low light has always been a near impossible task to get something useable. With the iPhone’s recent decline in lowlight photography capabilities (especially when compared to other brands) I started to look around for an app that could fix the iPhone’s lowlight photography capabilities from a software/algorithmic approach. I’m very happy to say that NeuralCam is that fix for me. I have an iPhone XS and comparison images from this app compared to the default camera app on iPhone is like comparing chalk & cheese. Well done Neural Cam ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
