Recent technological developments have been made by the Minmatar Republic.
A new type of Rust[tm] has been discovered and its unique properties are being exploited for use in new, and cheaper, air filtration systems for all new starships and stations.
Lanthanum strontium cobalt ferrite (LSCF) has been constructed into a membrane, able to coat many surfaces within Minmatar space technology, and it is able to passively scrub the air of carbon dioxide and release oxygen as a by-product. This new technology has been criticized though, as deodorants or air fresheners render the technology useless, and thus ships and stations with LSCF would no longer be able to use aerosol products.
Due to this, an increase of bodily odor from Minmatar crews and ships is expected. The Minmatar Republic has made a statement, stating that “their smell should not be indicative of their willpower to overcome the Amarr Empire. This cheaper filtration system will free up essential funds to fight the Amarr scum.”

Amarrian propaganda has already reacted to the recent developments, portraying Minmatar citizens as animals and disgusting. As such, many Amarrian slave owners have begun sending Minmatar slaves back to Minmatar space as their owners are no longer interested in keeping them as they bring shame to their house and family.

Could this new technology disgust the Amarrians so much that they throw out their slaves? Or will the war between the Amarr Empire and Minmatar Republic intensify due to the new propaganda the Amarr Empire is feeding its citizens.
