Suppressing his disgust the dragon dipped his claw in the still warm goop and quickly scratched out a quick message to their friends asking for help.

He breathed onto the card causing it to disintegrate into ash, a wisp of green magic flying away at high speed.

Then strangely, it stopped, flew up to the roof of the cavern, circled around the chamber, then flew back to spike rematerializing in his claws.

‘Uh oh? What do you mean uh oh?’

>The magic…needs an unblocked route to the recipient when I’m sending. Receiving doesn’t but…basically, it couldn’t find a way to Celestia. We’re cut off.

All the while her face remained placid, bored even as the many minutes had passed. She had taken little notice of the dragon wandering off to ‘look around’ and did not deign to notice when he returned.
