Generator cells

See Robert Murry Smith.

  • Alum sheet, compressed expanded, graphite, paper towel as separator. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbykEpCMLxM
  • Self-charging cell (generator). Alum sheet, using his special, custom, electrolyte. Electrolyte: One part borax. One part magnesium sulfate. One part magnesium chloride. One part table salt. Two parts urea. Two parts aluminum sulfate. Two parts KOH potassium hydroxide. One part sodium carbonate. Be careful this is a dangerous mix. You need to do outside or under fume hood. After a minute of mixing you will get a strong thermo reaction causing rapid moisture uptake making the mix wet and hot. Blend in all ingredients until mixed. Spread out on baking tray under heat to dry. The crust is extremely hydrophilic so store in air tight container after drying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhjOXt59lnM
  • Elmer's glue (white glue) battery. This glue contains PVA, so that might be the key. What happens if you mix glue with graphite? A 1" blob of glue makes 0.012vdc. Uses copper and aluminum for anode and cathode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEN7SdkE0mk
  • The Thin Film generator from Quanta Magnetics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=4&v=HEfpbRdGVRo
  • Carbon fiber generator, high output. YT user: overunitydotcom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLjSH8O3cWw

Electromotive charts

Aka "galvanic potential" table.

EM charts give you the potential between 2 different metals. Find a low negative number, couple that with a high positive number, to generate more power. Aka "galvanic series".

Anode and cathode materials

Search for "electromotive chart" or "galvanic chart".

  • Carbon: From batteries labeled "heavy duty", pencil leads (burn pencils to get graphite rod).
  • Copper: wiring, plumbing
  • Magnesium: Good for saltwater batteries. From magnesium ribbon on Ebay.
  • Zinc: from alkaline batteries, galvanized screws, sheet metal or nails
