Drinks in Mexico

Covet: Kelsey had been in the studio, just practicing and staying on top of her vocals and lyrics for the tour. She came out of the studio and went over to the coffee table to get a drink out of her waterbottle.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad had been sitting at the switch board listening in to her practice. He had his laptop open and off to the side so he could keep an eye on the ongoing conversation he was cc'd on between Evan and the producer of Anna's new video, watching the plans and schedules formulate even though he didnt need to actually step in and say anything. Evans good.-
Covet: Looking over at Brad, she smiled, "How's all the working going?" She asked him tilting her head to the side as she walked over to where he was sitting.
Alexithymiaa: "Evans got it covered for the most part. They're working on scheduling our shoot days to get this video done. I swear every video I do with her gets more and more elaborate. There's just so much more that goes into them now than before."-
Covet: "She's pushing your talents, though, that's not really a bad thing is it?" She asked him tilting her head to the side as she sat next to him.
Alexithymiaa: "No, it's not a bad thing, it's just getting hard to juggle the work thing and the school thing, even with Evan helping me. I know there was no way I could have taken a full class load and did all of this, but I almost wish I had so I could have been graduating on time and could focus more of my efforts on my professional career."-
Covet: "I'd say take a break to get the schooling done, but then that's putting off some very good potential work." Kelsey said to him, spinning in her chair.
Alexithymiaa: "I really dont think that's much of an option. I'd pretty much be alienating myself from all my clients and in this industry, a break is like career suicide. I just have to try to stick it out for another couple of semesters and cross my fingers I don't lose an arm from all the directions I'm being pulled in."-
Covet: "Well, if there's anything I can do to help make it easier, I will happily do so." Kelsey said.
Alexithymiaa: "Well Evans already helping and he definitely is a big help. I don't know if there's really a lot you can do. There's a lot of things that just require me doing them. I can't even give it to Evan because of that."-
Covet: "I'm sorry. Too bad you can't clone yourself." Kelsey said as she went about spinning in her chair, side to side.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey, when they perfect that technology, let me know. I'll be the first in line to volunteer." He said with a grin, leaning in a bit to read the next incoming email. "They're setting it up for after Easter."-
Covet: "Well that gives you a couple of weeks, and it's not over Spring Break." Kelsey said with a smile to him. "We'll just have to make sure you get lots and lots of relaxing in, in mexico."
Alexithymiaa: "I fully plan on it. Although I do have to bring my laptop and get at least a little bit of work done. There's still a lot to do between then and now and since it's such a big production, I can't have anything falling apart."-
Covet: "Really? I thought we were just going to hang out together and be lazy." She said with a pout.
Alexithymiaa: "We are, but that doesnt mean I can just not work at all for an entire week when I have a shoot coming up. We're going to relax and be lazy a lot, but I still need to be in contact with Evan here making sure things are going according to plan.-
Alexithymiaa: "-
Covet: "Fine.. I suppose that's okay. I'm sure I can be working on something or keep myself busy while you're working." She said to him with a soft sigh.
Alexithymiaa: "You can go about making us some drinks. We're going to need lots of time for drink making over the course of a week. And that's a pretty important job, too." He nodded.-
Covet: "Um.. Yeah sure.. I can do that." Kelsey said rolling her eyes. "Though I'm pretty sure everyone else will have that taken care of."
Alexithymiaa: "I seriously doubt people are going to be making drinks for everyone in the house. Not to mention I know no one is buying alcohol for everyone else. Margaritas is a must in Mexico."-
Covet: Kelsey stared at him. "They usually do though, they have every other year..." She said., "Were we going to the same Spring Breaks?"
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know, I'm just saying. I don't trust everyone to share. A lot of people are really selfish." (Just you, Brad.) He gave a shrug of his shoulders, leaning back in his chair.-
Covet: "Okay.. well I'm sure you're not going to be without a drink while we're there." She said patting him on the shoulder, watching him.
Alexithymiaa: "That's good. I do really want to enjoy our week down there." He reached over for his computer, pushing it closed and turning to slip it into his backpack that was sitting at his feet, getting it all packed up.-
Covet: "Yeah, we will. We usually do." She said to him with a smile and got her things together as well so that they could leave.
Alexithymiaa: -He climbed to his feet and swung his backpack up onto his back, reaching for his hand to he could walk her out.-
