- The drumbeat of war beats mercilessly against the grass as the Vikings of Askaheim march northwards to the territories of Eidolon. War paint cover their faces as the forces converge, aiming to strike out at the watchtower of Eidolon’s Eye. They are met by the forces of Eidolon, mages gathered to defend against the oncoming attacks and aim at driving them back. The sound of blades colliding echo across the field as the battle begins.
- Stella v Neytiri
- Murmux v Lin
- Alice Crucor v Minos
- Cap 1 or higher, Dangerous fights.
- Alice Cruor says, "Stop."
- It was time to defend its lands for the Demon.
- Amidst the overwhelming waves of forces that plagued Eidolon, the Insectoid was standing tall among them all, its beady eyes pointed towards direction of incoming magi; it looked pretty bad, especially considering just how many people were incoming.
- But considering the fact that they still had a good mount of people in defence, this could be turned around, somehow.
- "Hhhhhhhhhhhh--"
- "Hold your positions- with all that you have- these rats- cannot be allowed- to swarm us."
- Doubtless, the likes of the Demon would be met with magi resistance. The beady eyes of Insectoid have shifted themselves towards Lin, immediately a frowning expression appearing upon Murmux's face. With a loud screech, it exclaimed.
- "You dare- get involved- in war- for these petty liars- these petty killers- these petty beings?"
- "Die- then."
- (Murmux)
- Lin wandered into Eidolon with a rather excited look on her face. Oh how she was going to love beating in the faces of Eidolon's magi for instigating a conflict that should never have been instigated. If they wanted to act like this when Askaheim had allies all over the continent? If they wanted to act like this when Askaheim initially wanted peace from the actions of a lone wolf?
- Lin saw no harm in beating the shit in out of the instigators that threatened the internal stability of Gaiar Aetherius.
- Walking across the battlefield as she punched her gauntlets over and over, she came across a large looking beetle-like demon. Now THIS was a fight she couldn't pass up. With a wide grin on her face, she'd respond to the Demon's words.
- "Normally I don' get involved in war as it's politics but given t'fact that y'lot instigated this war over a lone wolf? That th'entirety of Gaiar is under Askaheim's backin'?!Someone's gotta show y'fucks that y'lot are on th'wrong side of history. An' if it involves breakin' some bones? Or in y'case shatterin' y'chitin? So be it!"

- While the battle between Lin and Murmux was quite savage, the Demon had shown no willingness to take even a single step back; the winds have shredded her, and so have the putrid sprays of acid that were launched against her.
- The swarm that constantly buzzed upon her had made it difficult to fight properly, constantly eating at her flesh and even going as far as burrow in her flesh.
- Murmux was a horrifying creature to fight, one that employed disgusting, outright terrifying methods of combat, having absolutely no moral weight behind its actions but one goal - to destroy and assert itself.
- And Lin had the taste of its venom first hand.
- With the battle nearing to the end, the Insectoid had once more lunged itself against the woman, if only to land its mandibles upon her arm and straight up rip it off her body; sprays of acid followed, feeling much like a salt on the wound, only inflicting more pain to her already torn flesh.
- "Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh--"
- "You- moronic- female."
- "You should have- never come here- you disgusting- vile- conniving- arrogant ape."
- Delivering yet another blow of wind to her, the woman was shoved away from underneath the Demon - wounded and scarred, the Insectoid spoke to her again.
- "You better make sure- that I do not see you- and not just raiding with Askaheim- but on entire Agartha."
- "Or I will-"
- "Kill you."
- (Murmux)
- Lin was doing a relatively nice job punching into Murmux's carapace. With each blow she delivered onto the bug-like demon, Lin was getting right into it! She was burning up with vigor and energy as if she was a shining star herself!
- That was until the insects that accompanied Murmux managed to inject enough venom into her system to slow down. A move by the demon that would prove to be Lin's undoing. Her opening to being attacked by Murmux was exposed.
- RIIIIIIP!
- The woman's eyes widened as she missed a critical punch that'd end the match in a victory for the brawler. Instead, Murmux moved in and using the strength of his mandibles, managed to rip off the woman's right arm.
- The brawler had lost her arm to the demon. Once this happened, Lin yelled out in immense pain with her energy aura spiking heavily.
- "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"
- Murmux then blew her away from under him across the cobblestone. Attempting to pick herself up, she brought her left hand up to grip onto the bleeding stump as she fell onto her knees. The pain was unbearable, one she hadn't felt since fighting Lucan and his chaos magic.
- "Y'.... Y'bastard… Y'fuckin' BASTARD! TH'FEELIN'S MUTUAL! Ngh… Th'Next time I see ya'... I-I'll RIP Y'FUCKIN' ARM OFF AN' SHOVE IT DOWN Y'THROAT Y'FUCKIN' BUG! GET BACK HERE!"
- Her vision was fading away, all that blood being lost so fast.
- "C-COWARD! CAN'T... CAN'T FINISH WOT Y'STARTED...?!"
- Everything was going black. Her movement was slowing to a quick halt. The last thing she'd see was the giant bug making its way back towards the battlefield.
- "Get... back...here..."
- Lin would collapse upon a pool of her own blood as darkness overtook her. Luckily an Askaheim Berserker saw the unconscious brawler and managed to pick her up from the ground and bring her to emergency services.
- Seems like luck would favor her today.

- The mages of Eidolon fight in a manner that can not be considered traditional by any sorts of means. It’s a bit of a mess, unorganized, but it is a style that the Vikings of Askaheim have never before laid eyes upon. Slowly they begin to overpower the hordes of Vikings with their unorthodox methods, forcing them back further and further until a retreat is finally issued and the watchtower saved.
- The victory goes to Eidolon!
- Stella v Neytiri - Eidolon
- Murmux v Lin - Eidolon
- Alice Crucor v Minos - Eidolon
- The walk back was made as the Undead swarmed behind her - the three remaining soldiers of the unliving walking in a broken state, having taken the weight of the entire Kaor thrown back on it. Still strolling however, victory had - Alice leading the only three that remained as her Occultist aura continued to burn.
- What was once a secret army of fourty animals and humans? Reduced to those three in the epic battle - the forest off in the distance charred and dead, decayed from the force of Undead that had swarmed with the Necromancer.
- And Alice? Victorious. A power to each step, armor cracked and broken - covered in burn marks and dirt, cuts and bruises covering her form; but she was alive and well. It was clearly not an easy battle, and Minos was certainly an opponent to be respected.
- One that would be remembered, one that she would meet again in the future - as an Archon perhaps? Who knew.
- And walking back up to her city? The small number of forces remaining having managed to win? It brought joy to her face - eyes wide with relief on seeing each one alive, and well; none of hers missing. The family wasn't broken apart any more than it aready had been.
- They survived, just barely - and with a jog she would run over; her Undead lingering protectively, and her arms would wrap around Stella's neck.
- A tight hug given as she giggled in that relief.
- Another win for the small city.

- You have left a Guardian Ritual: 15% flee roll penalty removed!
- Minos returned alongside his allies defeated. He did not know how to approach them after such a loss. He must have held a key battle during the raid and because of it they were being pushed back.
- He knew what needed to be done. The demon had managed to survive and he would use this opportunity to grow stronger than ever. Flying away from battle as the forces of Askaheim retreated.
- (Minos)
- The battle was hard fought.
- With such overwhelming forces that came about upon their settlement, the Demon had to employ trickery, sabotage, dabble in subterfuge attacks and constantly ambush the incoming waves of non-magi.
- But considering the predatory instincts of an Insectoid, considering the swarm of countless Occult-influenced bugs it had at the disposal, such tactic was possible - much like a predator in shadows, it kept preying upon all the non-magi after the battle versus one of the magi was won, clearly supporting the troops of Eidolon to its fullest.
- The Vikings were met with the invisible force, a Demon that was able to almost camouflage itself to its surroundings, perhaps a trait of Insectoid nature; the shreds of winds and gusts of putrid acid was used to push them back, alongside with countless noxious clouds that were sent rolling their way.
- No matter how much they were coming forth, Murmux was prepared to meet them full force. But it knew one thing - to stay behind the non-magi troops and do not overextend into fray of battle. It wished for blood, true, but it also knew that to do so would be a suicide.
- With yet another wave of soldiers either suffocated to death with noxious clouds, or melted with putrid acid, or even shredded with razor winds, at last, the retreat was sounded. Covered in crimson and purple blood alike, the Insectoid groomed its mandibles, if only to exclaim.
- "Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh--"
- "It appears- we still live- today. Good..."
- (Murmux)
