  1. Make sure all gpu drivers / nvidia control panel are updated
  2. Open nvidia control panel. In 3d settings, adjust the image quality slider to prefer maximum performance.
  3. Go to managed 3D settings > Program settings tab > select a program to customize > pick osu from the dropdown (add it if it isnt there already)
  4. Antialiasing - Gamma Correction: On > Off
  5. Texture Filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization: On > Off
  6. Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: Allow > Clamp
  7. Texture Filtering Quality: Quality > High Performance
  8. Texture filtering - Trilinear optimization: On > Off
  9. Threaded optimization: Off > On (may need to keep off depending on cpu, definitely recommended if your cpu has over 8 threads)
  10. Low Latency Mode: Ultra (?)
  11. Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance (important)
  12.
  13. Apply settings in nvidia control panel and feel free to exit, we're going into file explorer now. Find your osu! .exe and right click it, then go to properties.
  14. In the compatibility tab, do the following
  15.
  16. Enable reduced color mode, choose 8-bit color
  17.
  18. Disable fullscreen optimizations (not necessary if you play windowed; not sure if it matters for borderless)
  19.
  20. For general windows settings, make sure you have high performance enabled in control panel (the actual one, not the new settings cog)
  21.
  22. If you want to be super safe you can always go to Control panel > System > Advanced system settings > Advanced tab > Performance > Settings and click adjust for best
  23. performance
  24.
  25. that should cover most of the visual hiccups you may have with osu in a windows 10 environment. If there's still issues, I recommend reinstalling your gpu drivers
  26. using ddu and repeating the nvidia control panel config. If even that doesnt work, i'd even go as far as reinstalling windows from scratch.
  27.
  28. If you're a streamer and still encountering issues, it likely is some coincidence related to obs and not osu; but in my experience obs isnt really a variable
