- Long ago, the old tales say, lived a young drow girl. She had a dear friend, a white dragon. One day, the girl came to her family home but it was in ruins...
- The girl cast her voice to the heavens, begging to know who had slaughtered her family.
- And the Heavens answered.
- The great goddess of dragons Tiamat appeared before the girl, and spoke to her.
- "My brother Bahamut has laid low your family, Drow. You must take up the blade and destroy him, lest he return to take you as well."
- The girl begged to know how she could possibly fight a powerful god like Bahamut, an Tiamat smiled with all five deadly mouths.
- "I will grant you a power unfathomable. You will become my Aspect, drow."
- And so Tiamat leaned one of her her great, heavy heads down and whispered in the girl's ear all the secrets of the Promordials and Gods, of a time before time when the Immortals warred endlessly, of the Far Realm and the aberrant beasts birthed from its twisted womb.
- And the madness that comes with knowledge that mortals should know not soon set in, and the whispered spell wove its way over the drow's mind. But the bond between her and her dear white dragon was so powerful that the spell came over her too, and the two took wing to do the work of Tiamat, the white dragon using her icy breath to lay low villages, her great paws crushing any threat before them and the girl using her powerful magic from Tiamat's gift.
