- Diablo 4 Initial Thoughts

- TLDR; Overall I think the base game is good, but needs a lot of improvements. Really need to know what endgame will be like, can't really paint a full picture without it.
- Pros:
- Graphics: 8/10 Best in Genre
- Combat: Fluid, Engaging, Responsive - Needs some polish
- Cinematics - AMAZING, Captivating & Immersive
- Sounds: 10/10 Impacts of Skills, Ambiences, Combat, Voice Acting, Music
- Occultist/Legendary Imprinting - A good rare is never wasted
- General Atmosphere: Dark, Gory, Gothic its what a Diablo game should be; more like Diablo 2
- Needs Improvement:
- Dodge
- UI/UX: Blocky, Font, Overly Large Elements
- Ultimate Skill get its own keybinding, not on the hotbar - Hurts Build Diversity
- Tab Map Overlay/Minimap - Where is it? Minimap seems zoomed and lacks detail about an area
- Quest Tracking
- Scaling - While leveling makes build imrovements and upgrades feel meaningless - Could be different at endgame
- Keybinds - Force Move
- Itemization - A lot of deads stats/affix'seems
- Legendary Affix's - Could Be more exciting
- Lack of Crafting - Huge, How do you not have crafting in a modern ARPG? (Only have rerolling/imprinting)
- Limited Trading/Trading Assistance
- Better display of health/resources
- Mob Density
- World Boss
- -----------------
- Good Loot
- Need good defense/resist
- Perspective is weird
- They should be difficult - No Free Loot Pinata
- Need some sort of area restrictions or possible time limit increases but that could lead to zerging
- Unknowns: Endgame (This is big and the bread and butter of an ARPG this HAS to be good)
