while cu and archer never mentioned to shirou or shinji what they saw that day, they have been speaking to each other about it. for shirou and shinji to be that closely bonded is practically unheard of between two omegas, so it leaves them wondering if any additional action should be taken. should they be given a little more privacy? the pens, while sectioned off into cubicles, are open-air. maybe if they had more space to themselves it would be better for them? it’s more than obvious to both cu and archer that the relationship between shirou and shinji is special and should be enabled. if they had space to call their own perhaps it would help relieve them of any potential stress in the future. they’ve already produced wonderful litters, so it makes sense to want to keep them as happy as possible so that may continue.

the next week, both cu and archer “walk in” on shirou and shinji in compromising positions on two separate occasions. both after hours, when most of the omega are asleep and the attendants have gone home, save for the 24 hour medical team and general security.

cu is going to check on shirou and shinji before he heads to his other job, but stops short when he hears the two of them rustling about. the last thing he wants to do is embarrass them or make them think they can’t be physical with one another, so he makes sure to stay as quiet as possible as he peers into their pen. shirou is squirming and panting while shinji has one hand wrapped around his dick and another gripped around one of his round, full titties. he’s greedily drinking from the other, purring while shirou writhes and whimpers shinji’s name. it goes on for a while, until shirou comes and presumably has run out of milk. they lazily drape over one another and kiss softly until they fall asleep. cu feels like he’s just witnessed something amazing.

a couple of days later, archer is going to change the bedding in shirou and shinji’s pen before he goes home for the night, when he realizes he can hear them. having heard from cu what they had been up to before, he’s prepared for anything. he curiously peeks into their cubicle and can see shirou feverishly rutting against shinji, licking and nipping against the back of his neck. shinji is trembling; pleased sounds tumbling out of his mouth whenever he can feel shirou press his body against him or mouth against the nape of his neck. he whines when shirou grabs his hips, sinking his fingers into soft skin and kneading with intent. shinji looks weak and lightheaded as he gasps and crumples submissively. he begs with only sweet, desperate sounds and no words — shirou obviously understanding him perfectly.

archer can’t stop thinking about it. he calls cu the next morning to tell him what he saw. having both spent a considerable amount of time studying omegas academically, it’s interesting to see this anomaly occur right in front of them. they talk about how to approach the topic of getting them some new accommodations with fondness and light amusement, but not necessarily a high sense of urgency.

the next week changes that.

the two of them are headed to visit them together, since it’s been noted in shirou and shinji’s files for the day that they both seem restless and irritable. that’s not entirely common for them — typically shinji is the grumpy one at the start of carrying a new litter, while shirou doesn’t show a rise in irritability until toward the middle. for them to both share the exact same discomfort levels while being so bonded is something neither cu or archer have witnessed before with them. they approach with caution despite the overwhelming desire to help, stopping just short of their pen once again when they hear noise.

while shirou and shinji may have made some effort to dampen their voices in the past, that’s no longer the case. the two of them are wrapped up tight, with shinji’s arms over shirou’s neck; legs wrapped around his waist and their bare chests pressed and rubbing against one another. he cries out repeatedly as shirou thrusts into him, kissing his face and neck over and over. shinji’s skin is littered with bite marks; tear tracks down his cheeks cancelled out by the drool leaking from his mouth. between the sensation of shirou filling him and their puffy, swollen nipples brushing against one another, shinji has probably never been happier. shirou’s intense focus is palpable, his hips moving so fluidly into shinji’s eagerly reacting body that it’s doubtful anyone would believe it’s their first time. he’s breathlessly muttering shinji’s name every time as shinji whimpers in response, even in the rush of desire their obvious bond shining through.

shirou comes first, stuttering as his thumbs press hard into the soft skin covering shinji’s hip bones. he moans so deeply it’s almost feral, and if shinji hadn’t just been filled up it wouldn’t be out of line to suggest he came next based on that sound alone. their exhausted bodies slump against one another, shirou instantly beginning to groom shinji as he trembles weakly at the sensation of leaking out onto the floor. their chests rise and fall quickly, with their heavy breathing turning into white noise.

cu and archer remain just a few steps away, unable to tear their eyes from them. it’s plain to see the restlessness recorded in shirou and shinji as of late is purely physical, now. the look they exchange says that they need to draw up a proposal to get them their own space much faster than they initially intended. they share a sense of embarrassment between one another, not just being affected by the display based on their nature, but as two people who very much care for shirou and shinji. they want to help cultivate their relationship as much as possible — not only because it’s a special case between omegas, but because they are special to cu and archer on such a personal level.

once the two of them seem emotionally and physically exhausted, cu and archer enter the pen to pick them up and bring them into the exam room for bathing. shinji whimpers at the feeling of being separated from shirou, even if he’s purring because he’s being carried by archer. shirou reaches for him from cu’s arms, interlocking their fingers and looking protective. they’re tired, but being held by people they trust and love. shirou and shinji squirm a little at being bathed initially, not wanting to lose the scent of just having mated, but cu and archer gently assure them that they’ll be fine and much more comfortable when they aren’t so dirty.

cu can’t help but notice how taut the muscle below the soft skin of shirou’s upper body is. everything about it and his body language scream possessiveness and security and he can’t help but be so proud of how well shirou has learned to mimic alpha behavior in order to claim the one he loves. while omegas imitating behavior they see and like isn’t unheard of, shirou taking it to this level is one of the most impressive things he’s ever seen. even more so now that cu is with him close up, watching the serious expression on his soft face twitch into something more and more relaxed as he gets bathed.

shinji is rag doll limp in archer’s arms, overwhelmed in every sense by sensation. his neck and shoulders are covered in bite marks, the redness on his face indicating that he’s still feeling the effects of being “marked” repeatedly by shirou. while shinji was already plenty affected by the hormones that come with carrying a litter, the additional flood from mating with shirou has made his chest full to overflowing. shinji writhes, brokenly moaning and purring as archer dutifully milks him, his big hands easily moving to express him gently. he can’t help but notice how much bigger shinji’s chest is than normal, wondering if the additional hormones from the coupling is having lasting physical effects. if so, it would be just another good reason to allow them some personal space to be a couple.

once patted down with big fluffy towels, shirou and shinji are put down next to each other. they lean against one another immediately, pleased to notice that their “just mated” scent has not left them at all. shirou noses into shinji’s hair before grooming him further, shinji looking so boneless and exhausted that he bends to shirou’s will effortlessly. even though he’s just been milked, he looks as if he’s already filling up again and he whines at the feeling of growing pressure in his chest. shirou kisses his forehead and shinji nuzzles in response, looking so delighted to be clean and soft and beside shirou. their eyes fall closed while cu and archer get them new bedding for their pen and gently whisper to them that they’ll do whatever they can to make sure they stay as comfortable and happy as they are now.
