  1. | Xiang was soon positioned directly in front of that clone with his body dipping into a stance, hands rising to protect his form with his feet resting upon their balls. His entire stance seemed to exude a serenity that was typically not found upon him, a somewhat nice contrast to the typical slight annoyance that Bai tended to produce, consciously or not. A short, choked shout left his lips as he suddenly burst into full speed, distance eaten up like a pizza to a depressed man, soon directly in front of the clone with an expression that displayed just how truly mentally unstable Bai was. [1]
  2.
  3. Halfway into his sprint he had unleashed the full and true force of his leg strength, propelling himself forward with an unhinged battle cry that allowed him to exhibit strength surpassing his norm! His foot flew forward, piercing the clone and causing them both to stumble over into the sand, the hot particles digging into Bai. This was.. -Basically- what he had seen and since there did not seem to be a form to the technique, or any form that Iios had specified, Bai felt as though he had done at least a somewhat decent job replicating the technique. [2]
  4.
  5. believed that now was as good a time as any to begin practicing the technique that had been taught to him, as simple as it was. Even if it were so simple it would probably prove its use at a later time and date meaning that it could not be overlooked-- no matter what! With that in mind, Bai released a small sigh as air seemed to coil around him without some form of reasoning, his entire body uncoiling and demonstrating an intimidating aura that was nowhere to be seen earlier today. He kneeled lightly, a small smirk splitting his features, but he waited for now..[3]
  6.
  7. Before exploding forward. The sand behind him crumbled in his wake, his entire form blurring as his leg shot outwards. In this moment, he was basically doing little more than releasing a casual kick that appeared to split the air and render the skies in twane, casually exhibiting a usage of this technique that was easily over-exaggerated to say the least. In reality, it was merely a casual kick that slammed against a dead tree but the result was all the same: the destruction of the tree![4]
  8.
  9. It was not a casual destruction in which one could simply be like "oh well, that happened". No, no, rather it was a tree that was obliterated as Xiang pierced through it, his body little more than a flash of light with his foot leading the way of this destruction. A light bit of laughter left his lips underneath this demonstration of his training, his hand moving to backhand some sweat that had seemingly accumulated away, hastening his recovery process. This weather caused him to exhaust himself far more than normal, demonstrated in how long it took him to recover from his simple utilization.[5]
  10.
  11. Xiang Bai just sort of stared at the animal before a flash of light seemed to leave his eyes, his body temporarily bolstering in both reflexive capabilities as he momentarily removed his own inhibitors upon himself. Generally, he showcased a lowered amount of his own abilties in order to deceive others but something told him.. He'd need all of it, now.[6]
  12.
  13. In a flash, he only barely managed to make his way out of the way of the encroaching knee-strike, reciprocating with an elbow of his own aiming to slam into the chest-cavity of the summoning. Even assuming he had not succeeded, he'd take a single step backwards in order to generate some distance between them whilst simultaneously lashing out with his foot in a reverse-roundhouse kick, both retreating and attacking his enemy simultaneously. If such a blow could land, it would just lead to Xiang yawning as he shimmied lightly, making some distance between himself and the enemy. [7]
  14.
  15. A series of thoughts slipped through his mind, Bai understanding that he was incapable of harming his opponent but also knowing that his opponent was -far- too hefty to be charging at him like this. Instinctively, Bai dropped his body close to the ground, eyes closed and stomach hurting as he strove to work through his ailments. If he had the ability to, he'd immediately sweep around in a somewhat omni-directional attack in the hopes to use his opponent's weight and momentum against him.[8]
  16.
  17. Should it land perfectly, the demon would probably be swept off its feet as a result of being tripped by Bai, even despite the fact that he could not damage him! Just the fact that something was barring his path would potentially be enough to mess up his opponent's charge, hoping the demon would crumple behind him.[9]
  18.
  19. Slowly, he began to reel back his muscles, returning his body to its standing position as he breathed in deeply before letting out that sigh. He began to pilfer the energy in his environment, utilizing it to cause his form to contain the vast amounts of chakra around his being. He was exhausted, that much was certain, but utilizing chakra in order to bolster his physical form was something that he had done in order to assure both to himself and to anyone who might be watching him that he could keep going.[10]
  20.
  21. A simple punch was sent forth, cutting through the air in front of him before dissipating. The force behind the blow was negligible, but any motion that Xiang made was enough to drain vast amounts of energy from him. Just like that, he was exhausted yet again, forcing him to reel back with his butt against the dirt, the tree digging deeply into the dirt underfoot. Ah, exhaustion was riddling his form, but would that stop him in any way? No, not at all, to be certain.[11]
  22.
  23. With himself slightly more limbered up than before, he threw a soft, gradual kick towards the air in front of him, the air condensing before exploding outwards. After such, he slowly pulled the leg back and allowed it to rest against the ground, nodding slowly to himself. A punch at the same pace was unleahed before he withdrew that as well, nodding even quicker now.. It appeared as though he were testing something.[12]
  24.
  25. Bai attempted another punch and kick before he nodded in understanding, chuckling slightly as he turned this way and that. In this action, he was testing his center of gravity, making sure nothing was slipping all around. This was his variant of a physical, done prior to beginning his endeavors into the realm of kickboxing in order to make the experience all the more enjoyable for himself.[13]
  26.
  27. Breezes could be heard in the air. This was the sound of his arms moving at an exceptionally brisk pace, cutting through the oxygen in the environment. However, it was at this time that he suddenly stopped, remaining entirely motionless. Once he was in his posture, he stood still – like a cauldron. His left leg looked like a plow scraping on the ground. Suddenly, he stomped his right; like a big bow, his whole body was bent to the limit and his right fist shot out like a released arrow.[14]
  28.
  29. Immediately afterward, he jumped into the air, his entire body appearing akin to a coiled bow as it amassed strength prior to releasing it at the very last moment! It appeared as though his foot circumvented distance, immediately arriving at its target who it slammed into! The target itself was merely the air, constructing a 'whooshing' noise to take place as the attacking limb split through the air, a panting noise leaving Bai's lips in the process.[15]
  30.
  31. The moment his toes touched the ground, he bounded to the side, shuffling heavily in order to regain his footing. The air whistled as another kick pierced through it similar to a blade piercing through a person's form, spreading them out like a they were made of hot butter and splitting them open. His muscles contracted as the kick was placed forth, the muscles working in tandem. In this motion, he didn't pull any excess energy from his extra limbs, instead placing his fullest focus upon the muscles within his leg and gaining as much strength as possible from them.[16]
  32.
  33. Now, Xiang Bai opted to practice his Dragon Kick. Thus, he bounced backwards before pushing off with his dominant food, the balls of his feet possessing a great sum of force that allowed him to dash forward a great distance. With such an action, he then spun around in mid-air, his dominant foot leading into the entry kick as he elicited a grunt of exhaustion from his lips, evidently tired but still managing to push his body past all limits. [17]
  34.
  35. A few simple kicks into the air whilst bounding back and forth across the soft soil underfoot was more than enough for im to get into the mood of battle, evidently placing himself in the mindset of a killer before actually being forced to kill. Despite the fact that he was attempting to be as bloodthirsty as possible for the sake of practice, evidently the man being slightly non-caring despite the fact that he was currently practicing techniques that would allow him to take a life. [18]
  36.
  37. Each motion of his was filled with an unyielding strength and a resolve to get stronger, each of his motions building upon the normal Taekwondo and adding a new, inventive style to it that could astound many! Some of his motions switched from the sweeping motions to simple, kneeing strikes that dealt an aggressive amount of damage against an opponent's vitals. From there, it could also switch into an innumerable amount of styles, each focused entirely upon the feet, as Xiang began to demonstrate a great degree of skill with his style.[19]
  38.
  39. Soon enough, he felt as though he had reached the 'grand perfection' stage, so to speak, incapable of advancing any further within his class as a result of having reached the peak of the most very basic level of Kickboxing. With nowhere else to go, he merely releasing an excited laugh as he leaped into the air and propelled the heel of his foot against a nearby tree, creating a small fracture prior to him relaxing. For now, he had finally finished his training, a small grin splitting his expression as he bounded off.[20]
  40.
  41. slowly began to breath in as he looked forward, gradually feeling himself growing more and more acclimated toward his environment around him. In no time at all, he managed to separate himself from any sort of wordly bindings that had possessed him, only making it that much more easier for him to focus upon actually ascertaining a greater deal of strength than he had previously. Currently. . He was training. [21]
  42.
  43. He needed to train in order to increase his overall knowledge in the realm of weaponry. Currently, he could proficiently wield up to four weapons of different types, and although this could not be considered a small number it was still something that he was not completely and totally proud of. Rather, he still believed that he had to increase such a thing to the very peak, managing to handle over three thousand various weapons from a variety of places. Only at that point would he be capable of truly and totally claiming himself to be the best martial artist and weaponist to roam the lands.[22]
  44.
  45. On today's plate? He was learning how to utilize a whip to the highest degree! A whip was an uncommon weapon to use primarily because of its composition! As it was unsturdly and easily capable of shifting from one form to the next, it was an exceptionally complicated weapon for one to truly put their effort into learning. For the most part, one in a thousand people could proficiently utilize a whip when in battle as it had innumerable changes. [23]
  46.
  47. If one believed that they had got into a forward clash prior to their opponent's weapon suddenly changing into something far more dangerous, slipping past their defenses and striking at the last moment, only then would they realize the dangerous threat that a whip posed. However, as Leylin did not have an actual whip at his disposal, he was temporarily forced to improvise as a result. In a short period of time, his belt had landed into the palm of his hand and a crisp, cracking sound filled the air. [24]
  48.
  49. This was the initial, testing blow that Leylin could produce, feeling out the strength of the instrument that had been borne of his own free will. In essence, it felt like he was attempting to extend control over the extensive piece of leather until it had assumed the plethora of shapes that Leylin had attempted to manifest had come into full fruition. Slowly, he continued to whip his arms about, the digits upon his fingers concentrating into the leather and causing it to flail about wildly. [25]
  50.
  51. Right now, there was no technique, only the brute strength of a maniac destined to reach the vey pinnacle of the field that he was attempting to delve into. Nothing could stop him as he set out on his way for history, making the world know his name which traveled across the seven seas. The only way to do that, however, was to master the field that he was currently partaking in: the usage of a whip or flail to its fullest effects. [26]
  52.
  53. Each motion of his was unrefined, but they only got better as time went on. Soon enough, he had gotten a measure for just how pliable the weapon he was using was, no longer boasting the same sort of style as his spearplay. Instead, it was now a style filled with uncertainty, making it that much more unique for this Jounin to train in. As one that was accustome to certainty, such as in his miliatiristic lifestyle where order reined supreme, this was almost like a blindside to his very foundations.[27]
  54.
  55. Nonetheless, a smile broke upon his face as time went on, his attention dispatched unto various locations all around him. As he moved through each shift, allowing his body to grow more in tune with what he was doing, he continued to aim at the various locations that he had set up as mental targets. Despite his uncoordination, it was evident that he had some aim to his motions as the whip lashed out in great success each time. Each time, a different branch of a dead tree began to break away, the sand underfoot muffling any noises save for the actual cracking noise of bark breaking.[28]
  56.
  57. He was already halfway there in terms of his proficiency with the weapon he was wielding, demonstrating a degree of coordination that might astound one should they look at him now. As opposed to the initial rough display that had come from his attempts of action, there appeared to be some sort of rhythmic-like style that he could attach himself to, making sure to increase the intensity in which he moved. Eventually, a sort of battle-dance like style seemed to manifest from him, who was consistently flowing in and out of innumerable actions. [29]
  58.
  59. He bound upward, downward, and in each and every direction that he possibly could when it came to picking a target for his blows. Each blow was enough to stun a lesser person, making them believe that space itself was breaking apart from the strength that he wielded and that the heavens were overturning. With the strength of his physical body alone, he had thoroughly made himself virtually a whirlwind of pure destruction and terror. [30]
  60.
  61. In a short period oif time he was already exhibiting the greatest degree of workmanship with the weapon that he had attempted to use in the longest period of time that he had ever begun something. His feet brushed over the sand, sending him flying to and fro as he continued to whip about himself with a force and degree of strength that might even make one shit themselves if they were mentally unprepared for what he was about to dish out. [31]
  62.
  63. Time and time again he had to refrain from merely shattering the fabric of reality with the degree of strength he was utilizing, making sure to wipe sweat from his forehead each time he had almost absentmindedly lost his cool and destroyed the very vicinity in which he lay. Soon enough, he merely had to stop himself and stumble away from his training area, believeing that he simply could not handle the degree of energy that it took for him to push himself to that limit. Soon enough, sweat dripped from his temple and he merely stumbled away, deciding that this was not for him. He needed. . He needed to continue to practice, but breaks were just as important as anything else. [32]
  64.
  65. eventually stretched out his limbs to a large degree, evidently reaching the end of his training session. He had developed his techniques to a large degree and almost even contained a rudimentary knowledge of whip-manship because of all the efforts he had put in today. He felt that, with just a bit more of a push, he would reach the realm of base perfection at the very least as of now, capable of calling himself a practitioner in the art of whip play. As a result, he would possess a skillset that would enable him to be capable of holding his own, even with the loss of his trusty spear. [33]
  66.
  67. As a result, he was still stretching out his limbs, allowing his body to become as nimble and limp as possible so that he could exhibit his fullest strength when the time came for it. Whip-manship was very similar to spearplay in his opinion, in the essence that it revolved entirely around complete and utter control of one's weapon and exertion of strength. Tactics and skill were necessary when utilizing wea[pmry, posing severe links between the two styles. With Leylin already possessing a small background in the former, it was no doubt that his skill in the latter would grow. [34]
  68.
  69. A few gentle motions later and the man was already beading sweat, the liquid covering the vast sum of his physique. He was exhausted, spent, and his entire body ached, but if one asked him if he was a multi-weapon practitioner as of now. . He would be forced to say yes. After all, he could tell that his skill in that way of battle had vastly surpassed what it was before due to all his training today. If he didn't have greater skill in whip-play then. . What exactly did he have? [35]
